Sorry I've been away for a few days. Spend half of Saturday at Urgent Care (my primary care is there) instead of work to get pain meds that my orthopedist doesn't believe in. Have been having a few crap-tastic days. Today was my first good day in about a week, and the infirmary is already done. Thank you, Mini, for picking up the slack. I've got it tomorrow night.

I really hope things start to improve for you soon!

Holy Cow, I got this from the AP eek
Sorry for being inactive. I had two non invasive medical procedures in August and September and I am also busy with RL stuff.
Rescued all of these from the AP

Zau Ryn pd2care Sorry I've been away for a few days. Spend half of Saturday at Urgent Care (my primary care is there) instead of work to get pain meds that my orthopedist doesn't believe in. I really hope things start to improve for you soon! Yeah. This is NOT an injury I would recommend to anyone. This is one of those "long haul" kind of boo-boos. I won't see anything close to "normal" until at least February (injury was August 13), if I DON'T have surgery. It'll be even longer if I have to have surgery. Surgery will include bone anchors and tendon grafts *shudders*. I'll know more (maybe) in November. I've got one ligament not going "home" very quickly, or at all. We'll know which it is then. If it's still where it was when I had the MRI, then surgery will be needed to put it back where it goes. If it's moving toward home, then we just keep doing physical therapy, and waiting for it to get there and heal itself. The pain won't get better until it's where it's supposed to be. There's also a matter of the chipped ulna. The chip is floating around in there. If that's what's causing the nerve pain (as in press your "funny bone" on a hard surface and move back and forth over it), then I think I'll want them to go in and get it out. That's not even remotely humorous. *see what I did there???
