She was using the 'mom' look and just about to bring out the 'mom ' voice when Galesen began explaining. "And that makes you weird." But this was yet another problem that needed a solution. "Could be a whole host of reasons, Galesen. If you were exposed to a magical object that bled onto you, if you were magically poisoned or something of that sort, or it could just be a growth spurt magically. Kariel used to have those sorts of explosions rather often. But if Sevilin doesn't know then I'd wager it's not any of those things at all. Have you been in contact with a powerful mage lately? Or piss one off for that matter? You have a tendency to dally with women and he's not the first you've upset with roaming hands and such." Pointing a finger to her husband. They all knew exactly what she was referring to and the consequences that had come of it.
"Not if you intend to be anything like your father, I can't." She dropped her eyes then slowly lifted them back to his, sighing. "I'm afraid you're probably right. I need to end this once and for all or she'll continue to haunt me. And hurt me..." Rubbing her wrist mindlessly again. "But I won't have another scene like tournament. She took me by surprise there and I won't have that again."

"See? Weird." He was at least happy to get that much and allowed himself to have a quiet chuckle about it. It was fun to win things. "And no, you're not a beacon...at least right now you're not." Crossing his arms over his chest again and shifting his weight. "He's having all sorts of magical problems right now. Maybe it's just on odd side effect and the elves here know some form of their own runics. Andal isn't the only plane with them after all. Thank whatever god for that."
Which got him narrowing his eyes at her. "What do you mean at tournament? What happened with you and your mother at tournament?"

Galesen looked at them both and shook his head, he wasn't going to argue with them over something simple like that. "We're all weird." He looked back to Zahara who decided to list off different things that could be causing everything and of course he thought each one of them over. "No, no and the last one Malik is actually looking into." He then thought over the rest, though hearing her speak of the last two made him give a look of sorts. "No, I haven't pissed off anyone in awhile, and my hands haven't roamed over any body except for a particular elf and that's it." A small sigh and he closed his eyes again. "I think it would be better if I reveried again, if I can get something about my parents then maybe I might find out what is happening to me."

She quirked an eyebrow and then waited a beat. "A particular elf being...Isle? Is Nillrik your son, Galesen?" It was impossible to tell without asking since the child looked too much like Isle to have a trace of his father in him. She was behind on all the news, wasn't she? "Elves bonding and having babies and no one sees fit to tell me anything until after it's happened. I used to be the one who knew everything. What happened?" All muttered to herself before she frowned. "You think it has to do with your family? I would say you and Sevilin need to start your lessons back up. You never did learn to control yourself."
Kaelin clamped her mouth shut so quickly, she bit her tongue and brought tears to her eyes at the sudden sharp pain. Damn her big mouth. Her mother's biggest peeve was always that she couldn't keep a secret worth a damn. "Umm...well...it wasn't a big deal really, Malikhai. She just...talked...to me..." Quick, look at something besides his eyes!

"Then go get your reverie. No one is stopping you...but if you wake up a glowing beacon again I'm going to have at you." Blinking then at his wife and giving her a half surprised half disgusted look. "Did you just vlounteer me? I have work to do." He wasn't particularly whining but he was irritated with it all.
He didn't look like he was going to back down from the issue anytime soon as he continued to watch her. "Talked to you and what else? If she just talked to you, you wouldn't be so evasive."

Galesen looked at Zahara and nodded. "Yes, I've been with Isle." Though her next question made him raise an eyebrow. "I don't know. I didn't know she had the child until long after she went through the pregnancy and he was a few months old. I have a rare chance of being the father." He them smirked a little as Zahara realized she was far behind on the news. "Simple, you just had other things to deal with." But he gave a small nod to the drow as he pushed away from the wall. "Yeah, and I've been doing the exercises that he taught me ever since I came down here, they've been helping but I'm still gaining more energy." It was getting annoying but he was getting use to it, though he believed her little comment on controlling himself went many ways there. He turned to Sevilin and frowned a bit. "Again, I'm not trying to be a beacon here, I cannot help myself." Though he gave a wave of his hand and shook his head. "I'll call for you if there is a problem, but you'll already know then anyway. I'll be in the arena in case something happens while I'm in reverie." He gave Zahara another hug and told her it was good to see her again before walking off, he needed to take another step with this problem of his.

"Galesen might have reproduced. Who would have thought...?" Shaking her head and then leaning against the wall next to Sevilin, copying his stance. "You make time for Faate." It was as simple as that to her. He taught his daughter and could teach Galesen on the side. But apparently the surface elf wasn't down for that. "You're off the hook anyway so stop whining." Snuggling against him. "You've been ignoring me lately, Raven. Blow off work and make it up to me?"
He was giving her that look that told her she'd better confess or he was going to find out one way or another. "She did talk to me but she might have also talked to me a little forcefully and maybe she might have touched me once...or twice. I handled it though," she threw out defensively. "Sort of."

"then it's working like it should? that's great to hear. see and with the glasses you can can prolly be right there in the thick of things and we won't be breaking any rules."
taking her hand and giving it a kiss.
"And you never have to worry about being stuck here and unable to enjoy yourself. you know..come to think of it. these my be good to use on our youngest to keep tabs on him."

“And hopefully I won’t be scarred for life by some of the things she does and I am privileged to see. She can get quite neck deep in it.” Tilting her head at him with a blink though, “Why would we need to keep tabs on him, is he getting more flighty and less homebound and I just don’t know it yet?”
Isle came back into the place sopping wet but with a big smile on her face. Stretching as she waited for someone to bring her a towel and talking to no one in particular. “I’ll tell you what, storm fun is grand at home but even better in the dark where you can barely see anything. Oh that was wonderful.” Giving a grin at seeing someone though. “Zahara you’re up! How nice of you to join the world of the wakeful.”
“I pray that he didn’t.” Being his usual contradictory self. “And Faate is different…she’s offspring and a quick learner. Galesen has always tried my patience. Angling his eyes down at her as she snuggled. “I haven’t been ignoring you, you’ve been the one ignoring everyone else. So there. I can hardly blow off work with Galesen trying to be a beacon or exploding. By the way, Kithaan isn’t allowed near him right now.” Looking over to Isle and rolling his eyes at that.
“Why do you always defend her? Why can’t you just admit that she’s done wrong and let her suffer her own consequences. I hardly think anyone in Vesendary prescribes to child abuse. She’s made her own bed and you insist on laying in it for her.” It was just upsetting for him. She wasn’t being stubborn like his mother did with his father, she was just being plain evasive and unwilling. Granted…he didn’t need her blessing to take care of anything if he thought he needed to. He could make accidents happen too.
Wow that was weird. Really weird. He wasn’t the only one sitting on high points of structures and land, watching what was happening before them. It had been happening for a few hours now and it didn’t seem like it was going away. What was clear was that it was moving. A pillar of fire it seemed…like a tornado of flame, slowly making it’s way across the surface…and by the direction it had been steadily heading it seemed like it was making for the entrance down to the underdark that had been established. “Better tell the boss.”
Thusly he started into the outpost and down the tunnel that connected surface to underdark. He was at least smart enough to grab a horse when he got all the way down to make a quick trip to Twilight and heading into the place. He grabbed a serf, still not really sure how to handle these guys. "Um, is Malik or someone like him busy? Kind of have weird stuff happening."

Galesen was on his way to the arena when he happened to see Mykorian come into the fortress and talk to a near by serf. Raising an eyebrow at his asking to the serf he wandered over. "Hey Mykorian, I thought you would be on the surface for awhile long taking care of business and such." He knew the boy was up there for a reason, didn't know what but he didn't care. A look to the serf and he gave a nod. "Go get Malik." A look back to Mykorian who he noticed had a puzzled but worried look on his face. "So, what is this weird stuff you are talking about?"

"Galesen? What the hell are you doing down here? Didn't expect to see you at all." Shrugging lightly, "I move back and forth pretty regularly as needed." Scratching at his hair some as if he was contemplating that someone may not believe him. "Um...if I said a moving pillar of fire, would you believe me?"

"Annual visit." Smiling a little to the kid as he rested against the wall. "Well that's probably one of the many reasons Malik has you under his service." A small shrug to that before he raised an eyebrow and thought it over for a moment. "Well, we live in a world that would not exclude the impossible and weird so I do believe you. What is it doing to have made you come down here to alert Malik?" Of course he would ask that question, Malik never went topside really so the pillar of fire had to be doing something for the kid to come down to the fortress.

"That's because all of our children are intelligent and you don't really have to teach her anymore. She just comes to you for help every once in a while." Frowning up at him, her arms crossed and she sighed. "I fail to understand why this is your problem. You got mad at me when I volunteered you and now you fully intend to rush off and take care of it anyway." Her gaze drifted at hearing her name and she grinned then raced over and caught Isle up in a hug. Damn the water, she just didn't care. "Isle! You're here! And you have a son that you never told me about! I'm so glad you're here."
Kaelin clutched at the sheet and averted her eyes, upset with herself for upsetting Malikhai and completely unsure about how to soothe him. "I guess because...I love her. I know she's hurt me and has never loved me but she's still my mother, Khai. Wouldn't you love yours no matter what she did to you?"

"Well no, but he's flighty enough now that trying to keep track of him sometimes is a chore unto itself. and who knows where else he's trying to get to with that trick of his."
patting her hand and giving her a kiss...before a slight twitch of ears. someone was not happy. but he let that slide, they'd have to sort their own problems out. the serf that had been sent to see him for the moment was being simply ignored in favor of treating to his wife.

“You’re really out of the loop on how we do things down here now aren’t you? ‘Malik or someone like him’ usually means that if he’s not standing there, you go find Sevilin first.” Shrugging either way about it before a weirded out look. “What do you mean what is it doing? It’s a freaking huge pillar of fire that moves on its own. I would say that that is something anyone would want to be aware of.” Wandering over to Sevilin then as the women were being friendly. “I assume you overheard.”
“No no, I’m not volunteering to help him. I’m volunteering to hurt him and protect what I am supposed to protect. That’s not helping him.” Smirking to his wife before she was distracted and Mykorian took the opportunity. “Don’t I hear everything when I want to?” Looking to the boy and giving a nod of his head. That was an odd occurrence indeed. “Suppose I could go up and take a look.”
“Careful, soaking wet.” Hugging ZAhara back and giving a grin, oh yeah she felt good. “Word didn’t get down here to you about my Nillrik? Then again there was no need to worry you.” Setting her hands to her hips, “You know me, right place right time kind of girl.”

“No. My father wouldn’t let me. Some things there are no excuse for.” But there was no point in continuing as they would just get into the same argument that they got into time and time again. “Better get some clothes on before someone comes barging in as they like to do.”
“Which I still maintain that he didn’t get it from me.” Though he was a trouble maker like she was, that was no question. Leaning into him, she gave him a light nuzzle of affection. Not that she cared about anyone in and out of their room anymore and often ignored them all together, save for Keely. “I don’t think he would stand for it and you know how he is when he gets to whining.”
