Sammirah Exxos Sammirah A recent conversation with my fiance went something like this: Me: So... what do you want to wear when we get married? Him: I don't know...a suit? Me: I thought I could wear a sari and you could wear a sherwani jacket? Him: Oh yeah! That would be nice! Me: I'd also like to have bridesmaids. Him: Uh... okay. Me: Do women have bridesmaids in your tradition? Him: Uh... I'm not sure. Me: ...Do you know what bridesmaids are? Him: Uh... I have no idea. xd Bless him. rofl That is priceless. A lot of our conversations go kind of like that. He makes me laugh so much. Then there was that time last week that he used a whiteboard marker to paint the tail red of a rat they caught in his office so that if they caught another one after they released it they'd be able to tell (maybe) if it were the same one and that they should release it further. Ha! That's so adorably sweet and a little goofy.

At least where he is from (since I know some areas of Bhutan are nearly polar). Or will you get him to Canuckistan and when winter drops a meter of snow outside, he'll have no idea what to do with himself?

Sammirah humble_gypsy_traveller Sammirah humble_gypsy_traveller Sammirah I made an Indian bride avi on Tektek. Got weddings on the brain! What do you think? A friend's? Family member? Well I wish it could be me... but money's gotta be spent on getting my fiance here first. Oh yeah, that business about the stupid paperwork and all that to get him over there...I wish you all the luck in the world! You'll do it...I know it! Btw...it looks beautiful...I wish you could actually have that outfit! Thanks... it's a long road but one thing at a time. Thank god for Skype! I'd like to do a big traditional Hindu wedding, but if we do it here, we won't have any of his family here, and I would have no idea how to do all the things I'd have to do. Also, my fiance himself has no idea what his own culture's wedding traditions are, much like any man. Aw...I'm sorry that family won't be able to make it...are you doing it soon? Maybe you can make a date a year in advance and then your family can save up? Tell your man three things...research, research, research. rofl

His family is from the south, which is pretty much the hottest part of the country. He, however, hates the heat and can hardly even move during the day when he goes home to visit if it's not winter. I'm sure he's seen snow before. Also, we don't get that much snow on Vancouver Island. I think he'll be fine here.

We have to be legally married before I can apply as his sponsor so he can immigrate and once we submit those papers we could expect to wait 2-5 years. We're aiming to get married in Thailand this year around September. So we're not really anywhere near actually planning a family wedding here. Round flight airfare from Bhutan is ridiculously expensive based on what people make there, but maybe his family could chip in and at least send one family member.

Well we start the store reset.. Forgot it I told yall I made it on the reset team. the elite 8.. well we are the elite 7.. one person said no to the offer.. But we finished the 1st week and well lets say. We are in the clear and finished on time! 6 more weeks to go go.. but most of all. I got 3 days off this week! Getting 4hrs sleep and working 6+ hours a day of none stop moving and lifting all this.. is nuts.. its more work then we do unloading and stocking the shelves... due to having to take them down... add this, remove that, find this ( add it ) get this many shelves or pegs from the back.. I could go on forever about what we do.
