Ever's eyes widened. She didn't quite know what he was talking about, but she wasn't happy. She wasn't happy at Aphrodite or at Ares right now as he stepped back.

"So you're just going to listen to her? You're going to stop in the middle of what we were doing and just listen to her?! Wow. I didn't think she still had you so whipped."

A scowl was on her face and she unwrapped her legs from Ares' waist and plopped her feet back on the ground, her sheet falling back down around her.

Ever gasped as Ares pushed her back against the wall once again, hard. She fisted her hands in his hair and glared right back at him. Her eyes and hair were beginning to flash a deep red. Usually they were a bright red when she got angry, but what she was feeling right now was something completely different.

"The only reason I'd want to stop is if you are still allowing Aphrodite to lead you around like some damn dog on a leash."

Ever gasped after Ares gave her a very intense, and slightly painful, kiss. She even lifted her fingers to her lips to make sure they weren't bleeding a little.

When she heard what Ares' hissed in her ear, her jaw dropped and she would have been staring at him in absolute shock if he had been looking at her. Her hair and eyes flashed a violent bright red before going back to the deep red they had been moments ago.

She moved one of her hands from her lips and dug it forcefully into Ares' hair. She yanked back on it until he was glaring gaze was meeting hers.

"If I'm such a b***h, then, what does that make you? You're screwing me, after all, so what does that say about you? Do you like being led around by Aphrodite like a good little boy, huh? Does she give you nice treats if you obey her every whim?"

She reached up with her other hand and lightly slapped at one of Ares' cheeks a couple times in a mocking fashion.

Ever thought about what Ares said. Did this mean that she was a masochist, too? She knew what one was. How could she be a Greek goddess and not know what one was? She loved it when Ares was sweet with her, but she also felt some kind of sick, intense pleasure with how he was behaving right now. Most people would be running if Ares was looking at them like this, but not Ever. It just made her want him more.

But when he, once again, said that she should return to Bai Ching, she really did start to get angry and her eyes and hair went from being a deep red to a bright red. They stayed that shade this time.

She glared fiercely at Ares. "I can't believe you are saying that you want me to return to Bai Ching simply because she sent me a feeling of panic! Gods! You really are her b***h, aren't you?!"

Ever gasped and the red in her hair and eyes faded back to their natural colors. She was breathing hard and looking up at Ares with wide, curious eyes.

"You... you admit that you made love to me earlier? Not... not just sex?"

She blushed but she couldn't like down in slight embarrassment because Ares was holding her head in place.

Now Ever looked completely confused. "What?! How would it be for my own benefit if I went back down to Bai Ching right now?!"

She was getting a little frustrated again.

Ever's eyes widened largely and she looked at Ares in complete shock. She felt her stomach drop and she was getting a sinking feeling all over her body. She almost didn't want to ask, but she knew she had to.

"You have... made a deal with Aphrodite? What kind of deal?"

Ever inhaled a sharp breath and looked into Ares' eyes. She was searching for... something. Something to show he was joking, that he was just kidding around. But there wasn't anything like that. He wasn't kidding. He was completely serious.

They had been interfering in her life again. Deals were made about her. And now Ares had to give Aphrodite one thing, anything she wanted.

She went over to the rug where they had first 'made love' and started gathering up her clothes. She dropped the sheet around her unceremoniously and started to get dressed. She'd take a shower when she got back to her room.
