Sammirah humble_gypsy_traveller In other news...
I've been having much luck in playing the MP with buying items and getting good returns. So I hope you guys take a moment and consider dropping by Guess That Song, Capturika (next month), What Are You Wearing (next month, and will be using tektek now and then as I'm running out of outfit ideas with my own stuff) and I may be adding a lotto to A Humble Cleansing.
Now back to your regularly scheduled chatter. xd Good for you! I wish I knew how to do that. It's alot like gambling...there's a lot of hit and miss.

Thank you Lily!! heart gaia_nitemareleft No problem. whee It might take a little while to get the hang of things, but I'll promise to do my best. 3nodding We are living interesting times here in Finland too. On sunday, we have our president elections. There's one guy, who is very strong and most likely will be elected. Then, the second strongest candidate is, what I would say, and extremely interesting. It gives hope to me that despite the recent political turmoils, we are not going backwards and instead forwards. The second strongest candidate who have gone up a significant amount in the poll is about 50 year old experienced politician who have, for the last few years, lived openly in a gay relations ship with this 30 year old man. I know it's is very unlikely that he'll be elected but still... he is rather strong in the polls. The idea of having an openly gay president is interesting to say the least. I think our country would then be the first world to have an openly gay president... In a way, it would be fun to see what all those conservative countries and people would do if he really would get elected. whee gaia_angelright Well, it's certainly very cool that he's a candidate! I've heard that Scandinavian countries are generally very gay-friendly. Would you say that's true?

Yeah... but at least you're not risking real money. I can't believe that people actually do that for a living, it's really impressive! I know a guy who trades natural gas stocks as a hobby/part-time job thing. He knows that particular market pretty well and can make as much as a few hundred dollars in a couple days!

I've considered playing the stock market, but it's just too much work and too much pressure. Although I have an idea which stocks I wouldn't mind trading...one being McDonald's. Stocks are a lot like gambling too...I'd rather put my money into 5 cent slots...I tend to be more lucky there.

Although I have an idea which stocks I wouldn't mind trading...one being McDonald's. Stocks are a lot like gambling too...I'd rather put my money into 5 cent slots...I tend to be more lucky there. I guess you just have to know what conditions are going to make people buy more or less of a certain product. With natural gas you can sort of base it on the weather. My friend who does that is also a sociologist, so he has a pretty good grasp on how different social conditions can influence people's behavior.

His speciality is like collectible science fiction books and board games and old toys and NES games and such. He just sort of has a general knowledge of what those things are worth. Last time I saw him he showed me an old Super Soaker from the 90s that he paid about $4 for at a second hand shop and had just sold for about $30 on eBay. Could you do something like that for fashion items? Or do consignment boutique stores pretty much have that covered?

Well I was thinking of hawking my wears in boutiques...I just need a vendor's license. Yeah, I've heard lots about people buying things in thrift stores on the cheap, then getting a good profit for them selling them online. Over here in Toronto, thrift stores are jacking up their prices hugely because of that...and as a person who doesn't deal in buying and selling...that's kind of a bummer.

I am having problems putting it all into words. I am so overwhelmed by it all. I am freaking out about everything going on. Performance anxiety. I am getting this constant feedback that I am a slob, look awful, and shameful. That I can't behave right. I can't do anything right. Why was I asked to be a best man? Why the hell was I even invited? They obviously know who I am! It's not like I can just stop being a horrible, imcomplete, lost person overnight. Then there are all the things just building on my poor self-esteem and self-hatred beyond that... I am surrounded by all these normal, functional people with futures and here I am, just a worthless schmuck. And they discuss all these things... And I am lost... I am immature... an idiot manchild. cry And they talk about having kids... That just hurts. They're so happy, so perfectly matched, have so much ahead of them. Sorry... this just comes out as petty bitching and emoness. I am not even handling what is knocking around in my head, just babbling through it and taking surface thoughts.
