Vae walked back through the front door of the tavern and sighed to himself. "Well another night another group of shadows." He said and went to the bar and sat there with a little sigh. "I'd like to bring in some new faces."

Vae got up and wandered around the room with a little sigh to himself as he began to clean it all up and hang banners on the wall. "I might be alone. But I'm still gonna have a Halloween party. All are welcome to come back from the grave and join in a little fun."

Jenna snuck back into the tavern one last time before it would be rebuilt. or so she was told. "Sooo many memories.... I wish it had stayed alive." She frowns then turns away. "Hopeful if and when this place is back up and running people wont mind if i kick it up a bit. I've been gone so long and advertising so much that i think many of my friends will be upset when they learn the famus tavern was deserted." SHe leaves and lets the cold fall air sweep her hair as she leaves into the darkness in her new body.

Zeke sighed softly as she came down from her room and slumped down into a empty chair. She was bored, lonely and a bit depressed. She'd lost everything, her family, most of her friends... she was so alone she was half tempted to just end it all.

Vae walked slowly down the stairs to the tavern and looked around quickly at first and sighed thinking himself alone again this day. "Wait." He said and looked back up again and saw Zeek. "Zeek." He cried out and went right towards her knocking over tables and walking across chairs to end up sitting right infront of her. "It's been so long since I've seen anyone." He held out his arms for a hug.

Zeke jumped with a start at the sudden loud noise. "ACK! Oh... hey Vae.... I thought I was alone." She sat up, turning her blue and brown eyes to look at the other. Her tail flicked slightly beside her. "How's life been for you?"

Vae shook his head. "Not very good. Been lonesome and some people are rather mean because I don't act right in their eyes." He said with a deep sigh. "It seems like we are a dying breed."

"I know how that is. I've lost everything... my home... my family.... nearly all my friends... I came in late last night. I thought no one else was here." She took a long drag from her cigarette she'd had in her hand since she came down stairs.

Vae nodded. "Myself as well. But I haven't really left. Except for a few short trips to the store to fill the fridge and keep the place clean." He sighed and looked at the ceiling.

"I'm sorry you lost everything too, Vae." She scooted over for him to join her on the sofa.

"I wish I lost some of mine... I don't want to remember this pain...." Her voice shook a little, struggling to keep her tears at bay. She hated showing that she was still a girl and not a strong one as she always let on.

Vae summoned a handkerchief and held it out. "Well. Zeek. At least we still have Paris." He said with a smile.

She took the hankie and sighed softly. "We never went to Paris, Vae. The furthest we've ever been was you ex's home world."

Vae laughed at her. "No I guess we didn't go to Paris. I guess I dreamed we did." He said and hugged Zeek. "Man what a dream that was though." He said rubbing Zeek's shoulder slowly.
