i am just so sick. my husband and bil's wife got in a huge fight last night. well during this fight she told him sorry his sex life sucks and that teesh has told her stuff so she knows it does. i thought she was my friend. i've already sent her a long letter. don't trust myself to talk to her right now.
i have issues. that stuff is hard for me. even more so now that i'm pregnant and sick the whole time. my poor husband gave me a hug after putting lotion on and i had to run and throw up.
anyway i confided in her. and for her to do this to me. i was so sick over it last night i couldn't stop throwing up. not sure if i was throwing up stomach acid at the end because it burned and now i have a sore throat. couldn't sleep all night trying to figure out how to confront her on it. i'm not good at confrontation.
my husband thinks i should text her and her husband and ask her if she's figured out how to get her husband to stop being so lazy and get a job like she's talked to me about. he says it's only fair. i'm not like that though.i pride myself on being a good friend. so i won't sink to that level. still in a moment of anger it was tempting.
but this makes the 4th person who has done something like this to me. my list of friends keeps getting smaller and smaller.

gaia_nitemareleft @Teeshan: It's terrible if you can't trust your friends. I hope she'll feel at least some regret about what she's done. The best thing in this situation is probably just tell her straight that she has hurt you greatly and then stop taking contact to her for some time. With your preggers nausea and all you don't need any more extra stress so it's better to keep people like that out of the circle until you feel better. @Sammirah: Welcome back! I hope your trip was nice. Oh, and did you get the permit so are you a Mrs. now? whee gaia_angelright

Sorry for being so alienating and AWOL, this cold I have is feeling like the precipice of pneumonia. I have been really messed up and sporadically online anywhere I have to think – i.e.; in the guild and forums. I am worried I will not be better in time for my trip.

Exxos Sorry for being so alienating and AWOL, this cold I have is feeling like the precipice of pneumonia. I have been really messed up and sporadically online anywhere I have to think – i.e.; in the guild and forums. I am worried I will not be better in time for my trip. *hugs* Sorry that you're feeling so crappy. I think we all wish that you were better soon. Maybe lots of bed rest and vitamin rich foods and fluids would do you good.

@Teeshann - awwww that really sucks about your friends. I agree with what lily says. Just tell her how hurt you were but don't sink to her level and try to retaliate.
((((hugs))))) for Exxos. I really hope it doesn't turn into pneumonia. Hope your able to get through this icky sickness soon.

Having a better day today. Nowhere near healthy, but over the hump perchance. As for where I am going. My best friend and little sis are getting married and I am the best man. So I am going out to Florida for 2 weeks prior to help out however I can before the big day. I fly back the day after the wedding and they leave on the honeymoon (a Mediterranean cruise no less, ZOMG!) the day after that.

Well, that was pretty damn lame of her. I agree, don't sink to her level. Go ahead and daydream about saying those things, but don't put it into action. I have such a horrible temper, I fantasize about being really snarky to people all the time when I get frustrated, and it does make me feel better, but I rarely act on it. Just ignore the stupid people, Teesh. You're not feeling well these days, so you just do not have the energy to deal with them. Focus on yourself, the baby, and your family! Not much else should matter now.

So, here's an update on my sitch:
For lame legal reasons I won't get into now, my fiancé and I weren't able to get married in Bhutan (mostly time restraints) and we can't do it here (long story-- mostly that it's unlikely he'll be approved for a Visitor Visa) so we've got a loose plan to head to Thailand in about September and do it then! Ta-dah! Wish us luck.

I should probably try a hot shower in hopes that will break some of it up enough that lozenges and cold meds can calm it. Aw, chunky throats are lame. Have you ever made yourself a little steamer? Fill a big mixing bowl with boiling water (and some lemon juice or fresh ginger!) and hold your face over it under a towel? Might help. When I had a cough last week and I was still in Thimphu, we found a local steamroom/sauna and I hung out in there for a couple hours. It was super nice.
