"Did someone else hit you, Mykorian?" Climbing up the stands and settling gingerly on the bench. She was close but not close enough to make him think something. He wasn't forgiven yet.
"Don't look at me. I didn't do anything."
"Oh..." Sour cream and apple? What? Kaelin wasn't too sure she wanted to know why Piper was eating such a strange combination of food. Malikhai's mother seemed to want to head back up to the others now though. "Well..." Glancing out at the field and noticing that they had finally taken care of the fight between the menfolk. "I don't think Lord D'vinn would be such a thing..." But then she stopped and grasped Piper's arm. "Lady D'vinn...please don't mention this to anyone." Malikhai wouldn't let her out of his sight if he knew.

"Not physically. I'm just in the dog house with everybody it seems. Even squirt." Who was busy giving him a dirty look and he turned his own look over to Faate. "Is this the part where I leave from peer pressure?"
"Oh believe me. He can be quite the idiot from time to time. Same as any other man." Doing her own part to yes try to assure Malik she was alright, probably more than what the truth was. Giving Kaelin a smile though she gave a soft nod. "I'll make a deal with you. You stop the 'Lady D'vinn' thing, and I'll pretend this all never happened. Deal?"

"You can do whatever you like, Mykorian. I just never pegged you as a coward." Turning to face the front and focusing her attention on her pseudo-big brother. "What's been going on, Zykariel?"
"Those two have been fighting to the death. They're evenly matched it looked like but they're trying to figure out who the winner is right now. I'm betting it's going to be that other elf even though Malikhai had him beat."
Letting out the breath she didn't know she'd been holding, she gave a tentative smile back. "Thank you, Lady D-" Breaking off then as she realized her almost mistake. But that presented her with a bit of a problem. "What should I call you then?"

"And now I'm a coward. I swear I can't win today. Everyone's upset with me, my shoulder hurts, and I can't even play in tournament." Clicking his tongue against his teeth before getting himself up. "Well, when you're in a better mood, we can talk. Till then, I'm hungry."
"D'vinns can never make tournament simple can they? Zahara will have a fit over that boy, judging by the look of him. Where did the rest of them wander off to, besides the one who usually wanders?"
She chuckled lightly as Kaelin's hesitancy and navie nature. It was endearing in a way. "Piper. Simple as that Kaelin. Just Piper."

Malik was heading back up to his seating, waiting for his wife whom he was not overly thrilled with. he knew she'd gotten sick enough to throw up because he'd felt it over their bonding. But once they were back he was just nice as always.
"So how did it go?"
Valten watched Malikhai a moment. this would have been a prime chance to get rid of him. but the boy didn't.
"I will accept a draw."
The boy was showing honor, and he wasn't going to mock it by by passing him to teh judges whims. so he dragged himself up, to head fo the medical tents so he woud be in a condition to joust.
The annoucment was made, and there was more then enough cheering to know that the general people were glad that both fighters would still be able to test eachother in the joust for the real shot at the reigning Champion.

Faate rolled her eyes and leaned against her father. "Why can't more men be like you, Daddy? The rest of them are young, annoying, stupid, cowards." Crossing her arms and shaking her head.
Zahara was having a fit and had been for the last half hour since the fight to the death had begun. She was about to choke certain people in the judges booth and anyone else who got in her way. Needless to say, she was less than gentle with Malikhai when he came in the tent and doctored some of his major wounds then did the same for Valten. Lots of bone pulling and slapping things around and as much pain as she could cause him without making him suspicious.
"They're sitting with the D'vinn's."
"I can't call you that...." Shaking her head in uncertainty. It just didn't feel right. "How about Lady Piper?"

"That's because they're young and brash and yes mostly stupid. Stubborn too. Afraid it takes a good five hundred or so years to get me." Patting her knee in comforting fashion. Kids. Taking inventory of kids and such at Zykrariel's mentioning. "Not going down to rag on your friend?"
"Good." Thusly heading off the field, trying not to limp. Last knife to the side was pretty painful though. Seeing as he knew Zahara's ways...he was just keeping his mouth shut about her methods and letting her do what she wanted with him, knowing he'd come out better in the end of it all. Still as bloody as ever, but mostly healed up. "If it makes you feel better, you can berate me?"
She was being obstinate in her own way as ever, that was clear. But Piper supposed she could compromise. "Fair enough, you can go with that." Nodding off to where Malikhai had no doubt limped off to at the judges' annoucement. "Might as well go see him before eveyone else wants to." Giving the girl a little push that way before she herself headed back up to the stands and plopped in her seat, holding a hand out to Malik. "I know you have cinnamon on you. You always do. As for things...they wen't fine."

handing over two sticks of cinnamon.
"Then why'd you throw up? i could feel your nausea."
Valten knew she was being more voilent about setting things then she needed to be, but he took it in stride. after all, she probably wanted to make a reminder that they shouldn't be so bullheaded the next time.

"Which is why I always know you have it." Taking both sticks with a smile and a casual shrug as one was stored away in her tunic and the other getting chewed on in normal fashion. "Because apparently any rise in my biorhythms means someone else gets upset and wants it to stop." Sighing lightly, after all with all the simple things now being big things it was hard on her. "I'm cutting my hair when we get back home."

A frown then. maybe he did something wrong to upset her. that was normally one of her 'you're being an a**' threats. It was no secret he particularly liked her longer hair, after all.

"Becasuse if I'm going to be this sick practically daily, I don't have the time or enrgy to deal with my hair being this long. That includes taking care of it, streaking it, and holding it back when I get sick." Patting his hand lightly. "You didn't do anything wrong this time. Unless you want to count getting me pregnant in that category. Because yes, that's your doing."

She sideglanced him raising an eyebrow slightly at his answer. "You'll do anything to keep my hair long, won't you?" Rolling her eyes some, "Well I didn't know you were doing exactly that, now did I?" Swatting at him some. "If you can't take care of my hair right, I'm chopping it off. Understand me?"

"I don't really think he or his girlfriend wants me anywhere near him right now. Besides, if I went down there, I'd cause a ruckus and beat the s**t out of the other fool."
She stepped back and crossed her arms with a sigh. "It wouldn't make me or you feel any better. I don't know why you boys enter these things when it only ends up in all of you being practically hacked to pieces by other people out to prove something that everyone already knows." Shaking her head and muttering under her breath as she further tended to him, being much more gentle this time around.
Stepping into the tent, she slapped a hand over her mouth to keep from crying out at the sight of his body. With most of his armor off, he looked so much worse than he had on the field and she didn't like it one bit. "I knew you were hiding things, but I had no idea how much..."
"He's going to be just fine. It looks much worse than it is."

"See you still have your regular anger management ways." Patting his oldest on the shoulder. "Racing is certinally your thing, not tournament."
"It's fun in it's own way." Few broken and cracked bones that he had were easily solved with Zahara's setting and follow up magic. The bruising that he was host to was of course something only time healed but he was used to that. The various cuts and such he was blessed with either got a quick stich job or a quick heal job, only leaving thin purple lines behind. "My back feels like a wreck though. I suppose you'll be telling me to stay off my feet for a few days once this is over, right?" Turning a grin to Kaelin though she was not happy at all, that was clear. Motioning her over though he tried to soothe her more. "Don't be upset. It's mostly blood. Do me a favor and grab my bag? It's got a change of clothes in it." After all, his tunic was ruined by the huge bloodstain from the stab in his side mostly.
