Ares was surprised, but he caught Evermore easily. "...where's an easy button when you need it?" he murmured, glancing between her eyes. It would be very convenient.
Briefly, he wondered if a third time was going to happen.

Ever cocked her head to the side in confusion and her brow slightly furrowed. "An Easy Button....? What the heck are you talking about, Ares?"

Ares smirked. "That's right. You wouldn't know. There is a large retail chain called Staples, and they sell easy buttons. When you press it, it says 'That was easy!'" Ares even, for Evermore's benefit, mimicked the voice, making a very serious face when he did so.

Ever's eyes were huge with shock as she listened to Ares. Since when did he go around to different retail stores on Earth?
Ever gasped then as what he said sank in and she put one of her hands on her hip, even though her legs were still wrapped around Ares' waist.
"Hey! Are you calling me easy?!"

He rolled his eyes. "No," he said. "I'm saying I thought it was easy for you to accept 'Pepper.'" He raised an eyebrow at her. "Why would I call you easy?"

Ever smirked and nodded her head. "Damn right you better not call me easy... You're the only man I've ever been with!"
She wrapped her other arm back around Ares' neck and responded to what else he had said. "And 'Pepper' isn't a bad nickname. I mean hell, usually when people think of a pepper, they think of something spicy and hot."
She winked at him and moved her face slightly closer to his. "And being that I'm a Fury, that kinda matches my personality, I think. Plus, just the idea of you having a nickname that only you and I understand is pretty sexy and fun."
She brought her lips close to Ares and just as they brushed, she pulled back slightly and smirked playfully.

Ares smirked right back, pulling her close. One hand brought her butt closer, territorially. The fact that she found a silly nickname sexy completely blew him away, but he didn't care. If it meant that he would get to claim her again, he wasn't sure he'd care if she found neon pink spandex sexy. "My pepper," he growled.

That fire spread from her, alighting him in vicious waves and he seemed to become determined to force their bodies to be one, to act and be as one, so firmly was he pulling her towards him.
He realized, though, that the balcony was not necessarily the... ideal place to make her his once more, so he did not stay for long. He spun around and strode right back into his room, before pushing her against a wall. It managed to keep her closer than his hands alone, and left his hands free to explore.

Ever gasped as Ares suddenly pushed her against a wall and his body pressed closely to hers. Every time she moved now, every time she breathed, her body moved against his. It was one of the most sensual things she had ever felt.
She reached down and quickly brought the bottom of the sheet she had wrapped around her over to the side so that it wouldn't get in Ares' way. Then, she moved her hands to his robe and tugged viciously at the ties on it, trying to get his robe open. She didn't care if she ripped his precious robe in the process.

Just like that, before she would notice it, his robe was gone, and his skin was pressed up against hers, nothing blocking, nothing protecting. Simply skin stroking skin. There was nothing to stop him as his lips traveled hungrily from her lips down her neck--there would be marks. Oh, there would definitely be marks.
She was his.

Ever cried out softly at Ares' roughness. It hurt slightly, but she found that she liked it.. a lot. She reached her hands down to his hips and dug her fingers into them. She was about to pull them roughly against her when she suddenly got a very weird, and very intense, sensation of panic pulsing through her body. Where the hell had that come from?! She had been experiencing some very weird sensations tonight, and they didn't all come from Ares.
She groaned in frustration and tilted her head back in frustration. Her heart was beating even faster now that the sense of panic was coursing through her. Since she knew it was completely out of place, though, she knew something weird was going on and she tried not to let the sensation scare her too much.
She mumbled softly in frustration, "Not now... what the hell is going on?!"

Ares frowned, feeling her heartbeat speed up, and he pulled back. When he did so, he gave her more room as well. "Evermore?" he asked. "What's wrong?" He pushed some hair out of her face.

Ever groaned and pulled Ares closer to her again, her fingers digging into his hips again and pulling him closer. "Don't pull back... It's just these stupid weird... feelings I keep getting since we came up here. The first time we were together, I got this overwhelming sense of confidence when I was actually pretty nervous. It didn't make sense."
She moved her hands up so that she could wrap her arms around his neck and nuzzle the spot below one of his ears. She spoke softly, and somewhat impatiently, in his ear.
"And now, I'm getting this weird feeling of... panic inside of me. It doesn't make any damn sense!"

Ares frowned, then muttered a curse under his breath. "Aphrodite," he said, for an explanation. He scowled lightly. "She's done something." He sighed, stepping back a bit more and rubbing a hand down his face. "I think she needs you." He was not happy.
