The current scene in the manga is just about the exact repeat of Ichigo trying to save Rukia and then having to fight Byakuya for a few seconds then having Yoruichi save his a**. gonk

Am I the only one who doesn't mind the similarities?
I find the HM arc to be 100% (alright, at least 90%) more interesting than the SS arc even if they mirror eachother in some ways. Kubo could be setting us up for something else too.

I don't mind them at all. I don't really notice until someone points them out usually.
I think whether or not there are really obvious similarities there will be people who go out of there way to find something that's the same, just to complain about it. Just like there's people who try and compare things like.. Bleach and Naruto. Criticizing every little thing and micro-analyzing to find things in common that just happen to be there.
Maybe I don't care about the similarities 'cause I like the arrancar more. pirate
It just seems to me that they have more thought put into them and they're overall more interesting than a lot of the shinigami.

I didn't mind until people began forcing their opinions on me.
Too late now. But the thing that really bugs me is... no one is dying.
They all lose 40+ gallons of blood and some other chunky stuff from their bodies but it's like a mass Superman effect. 0_o
Then again, there's also the fact that they're not 'human' anymore...
Have you ever wondered what D-Roy would look like if he released? lol

You can't call it superman effect since he died. I think never read the GN. And even if he released Rukia would have probbly still raped him.

Rukia is #1 on my list of annoying Bleach characters.
