I hope you get to feeling better Toph! I'm definitely saying some prayers for you! <3
So, has anyone in the guild had any near death experiences? I just about had one this morning. I was almost rear ended by a drunk driver when I was coming home from work! It scared the living daylights out of me to the point where I had a mini anxiety attack and now my tummy has been upset all day. Oi!
Got any ginger tea, Breyer? I could really use some right now. *rubs her tummy*

I did! I was crossing a highway, on a crosswalk, the light was with me, and traffic to my left was stopped. I came to the centerline, and there was a big red pickup, and I couldn't see the lane beside him. For some reason I stopped in front of him, and peeked down the next lane, and whoooomph! a vehicle came through at about 50MPH! It just blew through the red light! The guy in the truck gave me this look, like "how the hell did you know?" I almost passed out, I was so shocked.
Ever since then, I don't enter a lane, unless I'm positive the lane is safe.

for my near death experience: i had a blood clot in my lungs. and i had to go to a different hospital. and i was so sleepy, but the docotrs wouldnt let me sleep. and if i did fall asleep, i would of died for sure.

Thanks Lyx. I'm glad I'm okay too. All I could think about the whole night was my daughter and how she almost didn't have a mommy!

My near death experience was like yours, Lyx. I was at an intersection when a light changed. The cross street has three lanes, and one car stopped, but something didn't feel right so I didn't accelerate right away. In the next late over, someone zoomed through the red light! If I had been in the intersection I would have been hit.

Scary! I know the light near my old house was the same way, especially at night. A lot of the time truckers would run that light because they didn't feel like stopping. =
I just hated feeling helpless. I couldn't do anything but sit there and watch this car bearing down on me and praying he'd see me in time to get out of the way because I most certainly wasn't going anywhere. At least not very quickly.

Toph Be Fong yes it was that, but i didnt think i could spell "pulmonary". xD and my 2 guardian angels and God was defiantly looking out for me. That's terrible. I'm glad you survived. heart

I'll bet you're pretty on top of it, most of the time, but now and then, a little steam needs to be let go. Poor health is very stressful.
