Welcome! biggrin How do you like it down here, S_C? There are lots of differences from up north! I know because I moved down here from Indiana back in the '80's. I grew up in the north. Everybody used to say I talked too fast. lol

I miss sugar cream pie, but I do have sweet potato pie down here. And I learned to enjoy cole slaw as a condiment on my hot dogs and BBQ sandwiches. And BBQ is GREAT in NC! whee It was CRAP in Indiana!

Hello. You can just call me Dread. I live west of Charlotte. I am most active in the Over 30 & Gaian guild. Anyone who is over 30 years old should check it out. It is a very nice place. I am married & have always lived in NC. I am very interested in Pirates & Pirate history, especially involving the Graveyard of the Atlantic.

Hello Eirwyn, I recognize your fish tank from several of the booty grab threads. Mostly from Kissmydumbmule and Friends & Family - the Verizon tanks. I frequent those to the most.

I got invited to the new Booty Jam Sandwich thread last week too. smile Sure wish I got more hits--It's taken since the game started for it to make enough to pay for one knight fish. sweatdrop
Funny; I just last week had a bottle message asking if anybody has ever gotten a message or seen a post in a message from a Gaian they knew! smile No one who answered me ever had.

When my friend was setting up the Friends & Family booty grab thread, I helped him send out invites. We used the bottles to ask if they had an aquarium in their signature, did they play booty grab & would they like an invite to a thread.
I have seen names that I recognize answering other peoples bottles when I have answered. Usually it a name I know from a booty grab thread or one of the emo kids on my brothers friend list (seen them twice).
I guess everyone has gotten bored with the bottles. I get so few responses to them now. I think the last 2 have only had 1 person respond to each.

I see a lot of spam, begging, & kids asking dumb questions like "have you had sex & what was it like?" rolleyes Oh, yeah--and the increasing number who just post an answer to the example questions instead of USING them. My mules ask themed questions. Doctor_Whatsit asks about food topics. Sir Oscar the Bold asks riddles.

Eirwyn *Points* AHA! I knew you were over near W-S! biggrin Yeah, the west side of W-S sorta got messy, didn't it? I go through there on I-40 when I go to the mountains. If I make the mistake of getting off to go to Sam's or something, I always have a terrible time getting back to the Interstate.Whoa that's probably the worst area for traffic around these here parts. Sam's is a great place to shop. Wish we had a Trader Joe here. Give Whole Foods a little competition. You going to the mountains again this summer? I wanna go to Biltmore House maybe for the Christmas season. I hear it's awesome.

I think that shopping area grew way too fast & they never got the streets down in there sorted properly. Actually, I don't like that Sam's much. The ones in Greensboro, Hickory, and Durham are much better.
Yeah, I'll be going home for a few days sometime between now & the middle of August, when Fall semester starts at ACC. I'd love to go see Biltmore House, but I can't afford it. Mom would too, but Dad refuses to go because it's so expensive. Go have a look at their website. They have a calendar with events & even rates listed on it so you can see when is the least expensive to go (in January, actually).

King Xenox Hi there. King Xenox here, going to take over the Carolina's soon! Oh no! One of the NHG has invaded the guild. Hi King Xenox. I know who you are. My husband owns the NHG. Glad that you could join us. I told some of them that you might like it here.
