Specterdust sighed with relief that the brown beastie finally gave up. It took so many nouls to subdue one, she’d seen it first hand twice now. This one managed to land a hit on her leg after she kicked it the final time. She stood there holding it up off the ground as it smarted something fierce. Kevin scrambled over and started to fuss so she looked back. There was a nice couple gashes in her leg and they were bleeding lightly. Movement out of the corner of her eye caught her attention and she turned her head to look. It was the red buck, he was in bad shape and moved out into the river.

Casting a withering look at the brown beast making sure it knew to stay down, Specterdust limped over to the river and wadded in. She couldn’t go as deep at the buck but the cool water was refreshing on her throbbing leg.

“This was a good idea,” she said to the buck. “Oh, I don’t know your name. I’m Specterdust.” She figured now was an ok time to at least know someone’s name. He seemed friendly enough from her other short interactions. She also wished that she could help heal up some of his wounds but her magic did not cater to that realm. “Do you think we’ll be able to live in peace with these beasts?” she asked the buck.

The grip of teeth made Fawn jump as she pulled away from the beast and back over to the door. It seemed that with a few others they had managed to subdue him. There was just the idea of more behind the door that worried her. Were they going to rush out and attack if they opened the door again? Something her to be done, to try and stop all this and thing come to an agreement.

"This was not the brightest idea on my part." She limped slightly back to Talltale whom looked at her wound.

It was minor, but she would be limping for a little while. at least until she went to a vivify... Perhaps they could stop by Dusty's spa for a spell. Seems like Talltale and herself needed on, maybe even others of the group would come too. Maybe..

Cattleya had been looking at the door, so she hadn't noticed the adept doe sidling up to her. She gave an absentminded nod to the suggestion, though she wasn't sure she bought it, herself. Didn't it make the most sense for them to head...wherever their bones had been found? That felt like healing, to her. And the suggestion of eating blackhorns...it didn't really seem right.

Still, though, the thought of some help out in the ruins might be nice. "To me," she said, voice soft but firm. "I think you'd thrive best out where we salvaged your bones. The other noulicorns here - the ones in there - " she gestured with her tail at the door " - might know more about where that might be." She paused, flipping her mane and gazing more carefully at the beasts out here. Eye contact meant sincerity, right? "But if you did help us out in the ruins - I mean, as a society, our hope is to revive and heal Vykeli, which does include helping native species such as your own find their niches again."

It'd help to follow with a little bribery, right? "But in the ruins, the Others have introduced a number of invasive species. If you helped us out there, we might be able to help you out in ensuring you have a home like ours."

Fawn watched the Bone Crushers for a moment, frowning slightly as the mentioned the rat. "That rat can make you think your mother is going to eat you the way he talked." She muttered looking away limping slightly over to the notch in the door.

Talltale, not really wanting to stand on her back, does so reluctantly to place the gear he had been clutching back into place. Hearing it click into place, Fawn stepped back to let the door creak slowly open. They had all survived, some less fortunate in their injuries then others. But these were Vivify that they were rescuing. Surely one of them could help heal those whom had been wounded..

Havoc eyed the brown beast tiredly laying at the water's edge and debated also laying in the cool river with his head on a stone. It sounded kinda nice actually. He glanced around and spotted one of the does wading into the water nearby. Nodding politely and trying not to look too tired and wounded, he stood up a little straighter.

"Name's Havoc. Weird day for pleasantries right? Nice to meet you, you really got this guy good." He nodded at the worn out beast and added, "I feel about as tired as it looks to be honest." He saw that the talkers had come to some sort of understanding, they were opening the door again. With a small harumph he started wading slowly back toward the muddy bank. At least he felt mildly better.
"Guess we are about to find out how much they understand about peace huh..." He did not at all trust the things, but had never been out of Homewood and figured they would be ok out there. Maybe. He headed toward the cave door to see if he could help.
