Once Stephen got up to the living room, he saw Mel standing at the one of the few windows and went over to her, pulling her into his arms, giving her comfort. Mel let him hold her and let Niko explain what had happened earlier. Stephen gave her a tight hug and held her a bit longer than he had planned after he heard what happened earlier before pulling away from her. Then her took her hand and lead her over to the sofa to sit down."Oh Mel, I'm sorry that happened. Thank you Niko for saving her from whoever is behind these kidnapping attempts on her. Amelia, I did noticed that you had used the the alternate verse in the song. Your were thinking of mom and dad, weren't you? It doesn't seem that it has been five years since they passed." Stephen said that last part about their parents for Niko's benefit.

"That's it in a nutshell Stephen on what happened earlier. Poor Colin though, Mallory found my camera in the park where the guy took me and she went off running to find me, leaving Colin behind to get my camera. Mallory and Colin found us inside Vic's office." She added to what Niko said before responding back to Stephen. As she was sitting there, she realized that it wasn't until after her parents died that the the kidnapping attempts began. Amelia had fair but pale complexion and it went even paler at that realization. "Niko, could you get the bottle of Irish Cream Whiskey out from the bottom shelf? Bring the whole bottle to me along with a mug to pour the whiskey in." She said as she looked over at Niko and then back at Stephen before revealing what she just realized."I just realized that all the attempted kidnappings started after mom's and dad's passing. It was almost a year after they died that the first attempt was made. Maybe it's nothing but I'm going to go back and double check the dates of the attempts and what had happened around that time. Was it completely by chance that the day after I found out that I landed a leading role in a musical that another attempted was made?" She asked them, wondering if she was on to something there or making a mole hill out of nothing.

"Damn, Amelia I hadn't thought of that. I'll take a look at that soon. Have you told our eldest what had happened?"

"Not yet and for the record, I'm not planning to get drunk currently Niko. That's after having to deal with Jamson later, depending how he acts." She said to him, as if she could read his mind.Perhaps I should be drunk to deal with him... The thought passed through her mind as she didn't want to tell Jamson but knew he would find out about it either way. She got the whiskey and the mug from him after he brought it over. She sat the mug on the coffee table and then fill it up with the whiskey. Mel passed the bottle back to Niko after she filled the mug. "That's all I want of it and just wanted to pour the drink myself. Would you for anything to drink Stephen? How is it going along between you and that dancer girl you mentioned?" She asked him, wondering when she should call Jamson.

"No thanks, I'm good right now. Cammie and I have been seeing each other outside of the musical. I wouldn't say that we're an official couple yet but it's heading that way." Stephen said with a smile, just thinking about her. He had noticed a change in Judy since Cammie and him have been spending time together. He wasn't sure what to expect from her. "I may head on out for now. I know you have Niko for support but do you want me to be here as well when you tell Jamson? Assuming you are going to tell him in person." Stephen asked her, wondering what she would say back.

"That's good to hear, I hope for the best for ya." She said back to him before taking a sip of the creamy liquor. "I would like that Stephen but I'll take a rain check on that offer though." She said back to him, knowing that it won't be really bad, right? She looked back at Niko, ready to cuddle with him again but would want to wait until Stephen left to do that.

Stephen had been watching how the two were interact with each other. He saw it in the way they were responding to each other that they were in love with the other. The question was, have they admitted to each other yet? But he wasn't going to ask and he could tell from how Mel was looking at Niko that it was time to go. "Alright, tell them I said hello and I'll mosey on out now. Bye Mal and let me know how it goes with our eldest." He said before heading towards the door to the stairs. "Niko since you know the codes, could you come with me so I don't set them off somehow?" He asked Niko before starting down the stairs.

Amelia stayed there on the sofa with her liquor and content for the moment. She would be more content when it was just here and Niko once more. "Bye Stephen," she called out to him as he went down the stairs to leave.

"I understand and don't blame you. I think that he needs a woman of his own to loosen him up some." He said back to Niko, knowing about the fight. "But I am glad that he did push Mel to get a body guard, and that she has you to keep her safe." He said, giving Jamson some credit there as Niko had kept her safe today. "I do wonder though, how he will take it after you two tell him that you two are deeply in love with each other. I know that he had hoped for Mel and his friend Ryu would marry each other. I don't see that happening do you? I don't care for him much either and the fact Mel doesn't feel okay when he's around..." He said said trailing off... "Bye for now Niko, good luck with Jamson." He said before going out the door and leaving them.

Amelia did want to go down and see him out but realized that she was tired so she decided to stay up here. It would also give those two to know each other without her being there. She looked up when she heard Niko come in and smiled back at him. She wasn't expecting him to come back with a slight blush on his face. "Hey, what did my brother say to make you blush?" She asked him, wondering what had been said for Niko to blush.

Amelia place the mug down on the coffee table after taking one more sip of the liquor. She felt him take her hand in his, pleased that he was with her once more. She smiled at him in response to his kissing her hand. Her eyes seem to convey to him that she was content as the rest of her body language. Then a yawn escaped her lips.


Ryu just got off the cell with Gerald to find out that Moran had came so close to getting Amelia away. But that wolfy body guard had stopped him. Ryu had given Gerald the order to have Moran to be disposed of as Niko would be able to identify Moran as the guy that tried to take Amelia.I will have to do it myself but need to let some time pass to let things cool down before having an another attempt made on Amelia. He thought as he wondered how long before Jamson finds out and tells him about it.

"Mmm, a movie or a nap? Well, we could do that but I won't promise that I will stay awake for the whole movie. " Amelia said to him with a slight chuckle. "If Mallory calls my cell and I'm asleep, go ahead and answer it for me. If she asks what I might want, chinese would be good. Egg drop soup and beef lo mein has always been good comfort foods for me." She said and then listened to his question and blushed a light rose color at that. She knew what he meant but it still made her blush. "Yes, I would like that Niko. "

"Alright, with that settled now, it's nap time." She said before using her free hand to pick up the the mug again to drink the last bit of her liquor. Then she stood up and went to put the empty mug in the sink. "I think I would rather take a nap on my bed as there's more room and less of a chance of us off falling off the sofa." She said with a slight smirk, wondering if Niko still want to snuggle with her before she could fall asleep. Amelia went towards her bedroom, wondering if he would follow her.
