A dog-like growl emitted from Agrona as she bared her sharp teeth at the man's first comment.

"Though I commend your achievement," she said after a moment, her tone fluid and even. "I must say that I do question your abilities if it is humans that you have chosen to recruit. Rather, that your dear doll has recruited."

She ran her hand along the spines of books on one of the many filled shelves.

"Such easily defeated creatures, humans. If they chose to fight back, it'd take so little effort to do away with them." She turned her emerald gaze to Xerxes, a smirk playing at her ruby lips. "If you are incapable of fighting much more than those weaklings, let me know so that I won't give you any missions that you can't handle," she finished mockingly.

Xerxes said nothing only smiled "why don't you come out and say it my lady?" he asked moving his feet on the table and putting the book that hes had in his hand down "what have you got in store thats going to play with me?" he asked with a wide smile, knowing where this was going.

"Follow me to the arena," Agrona said with a smirk.

Turning toward the door, she left, trusting Xerxes to follow in her footsteps. She led the man quickly through the halls of her abode, stopping only long enough to turn the brass handle of the large wooden door leading to the outside world.

Agrona paused, casting her gaze about the arena extending before her. Six gray, stone cobra heads rose up around a large marble slab set into the ground, their cold eyes cast to the arena to which they marked the boundaries.

With elegant steps and a dark smile embedded within her eyes, she stepped up to the side of one of the snakes.

"The fight shall be until near death," she began, running her hand over the invisible barrier guarding against any outside help, its presence acknowledged by a ripple of deep red. "You may use anything on you or found within the arena. There are no restrictions to what you can and cannot do besides what your own abilities limit you to."

She placed a hand on the scales of the snake. At her touch, the statue began to move, its mouth stretching in a yawn. Casting its lifeless eyes to Agrona, it bent its body so its head nearly touched the ground at Agrona's feet.

The demon jumped easily onto the serpent's head, her posture and balance wavering none as the statue rose back into the air. With a wave her hand over the marble field below, three small feline creatures rose from the ground.

"If you are knocked from the ring, then you have lost," she called down to him. "Now, your opponents await, Xerxes."

Xerxes moved into the area and looked around, he gave a surprised look at the serpents and even more at the felines "well now....this is a surprise" he said backing up a little at the felines as they moved closer "now now...nice kitty..." he said with a nervous laugh before the doll spoke "furballs" Xerxes grabbed the doll "you are not helping" he said with a menacing voice.

As one, the three cats stepped forward, two flanking the first. Their green, flat fur billowed like grass in the breeze at their movements, the gray skin beneath matching the element upon which they walked.

The leader's eyes locked on Xerxes, one glimmering with all the life of a rabid cat, the other as cold and stony as the element they were created from. With a silent command, the two flanking the first branched out to circle their opponent.

With a hiss that sounded nearly human, the leader stood on its hind legs and pulled back its shoulders. Long daggers sprung form the creature's front paws like over-sized claws as the other two followed suit on either side of Xerxes.

"Heeuped oy," the creature tried to speak, its voice metallic. With its sharp, jagged teeth bared, he lunged for Xerxes' throat as the creature to his right jumped at his back.

Xerxes put the doll back on his shoulder "well....it talks" he said as he and the doll looked at each other before shrugging. Just as the leader jumped for his throat, Xerxes moved back, avoiding the blade by mere inches, he looked into its eyes with a black expression, before his eye shifted to the right to catch the one coming at him from behind "whoaw now!" he said quickly side stepping to the left around the cat coming at him from behind. "fast little creatures huh" he said jumping back.

Status: Bored
Location: In a Town, in the allies.
Company: No one

xxAs Lucius looked, he thought he felt a familiar presence. He wasn't sure whom, but if he had to guess, it was that girl from before. Alyce. Why? Because it would only make sense that she'd be near-by. Not like any other significant players would want to be around him. He thought for a moment, of what to do. "Should I follow? She seemed to be interesting. So full of life, and yet wishing to end it, I think. A tortured soul? A sadistic one? Always females, those. And she seemed rather... Open, about her body. I wonder what she intends with that. But to follow her? Hmm... I do seek entertainment. Perhaps she has a dark secrete that I could enjoy part-taking in." Her presents was distancing from himself, meaning that he'll have to catch up. Lucius summoned a dragon fly from his body; it was larger then the standard, but not by much. It was still just a dragon fly by those who could actually see it. Lucius shrank himself down into the size of a water droplet, and rode on the dragonfly. Using mental cues, he ordered the dragon fly to follow the girl, and to the skies the dragonfly went.

Lucius saw Alyce run through the alley, hop onto the roof, and began to jump and run across them. "Oh ho, no ordinary one, is she?" Lucius continued to trail Alyce from the skies, too far to be seen with normal eyes.

Alyce continued to run, hopping buildings, nothing really phasing her. Her energy was back, as was her endurance and stamina. Every landing was flawless with no loss of balance as she landed lightly on her feet. But suddenly, her feet stopped moving and she came to a halt. No, she didn't fall. her stopping was much intended.

Her eyes narrowed and she glanced around. First, down to the streets, then around at the roofs in front and behind. A glimmer of confusion trailed in her eyes, and a thoughtful frown crossed her face. It felt as though she was being watched, but how? She couldn't see anyone or anything around her.

"I can't see them around me," she thought to herself, eyes narrowing, confusion immediately washing from her as she came to her realization. Yes, she was being watched. By something that didn't want to be seen. She felt the presence, and the eyes as though they were burning into her very flesh. All six of them.

It must be the creature. It had spotted her.

Was he following her? What were his intentions? And most importanttly, at least to Alyce, where was it? If there was one thing Alyce hated more than humans, it was being watched and followed. All her instincts and senses were flaring, alert for anything. "Show yourself!" she yelled, lip curling. She didn't have the time for this. Her luck, Agrona was probably waiting for her or something. Knowing of her impatience, this could prove to be.. Inconvenient.

Company:Alyce (without her knowledge)

xxLucius was hundred of feet above Alyce, watching. She was moving quickly and without flaws, only to stop and shout. Was she able to sense him? "How strange for one such as her to notice one such as I. Me, who is less then that of an insect. This Alyce must be.... Much more considerate then she appears." Lucius mistaken Alyce's paranoia for consideration, but even then, Lucius was nothing more then a speck in the skies. The dragon fly that Lucius was on was flying in random patterns, not unlike a usual one. The only thing that differentiate it from others would be it's current location; it was neither the season nor location for such insects. But who could see something like a dragon fly in the open skies?

Dontee nods. "And nice to meet you as well, Belle." He says before glancing around casually, mainly just to be sure there weren't people around him. After finding that nobody was within good earshot, he looks back to her. "... Not to sound rude or anything... but... You're an elf, right?" He asks, nearly whispering the question of her being an elf. He pats his chest slightly as he says in the same volume "... because, I'm not really human either. I'm a dragon; just I am in my human form to blend in." He could tell as he spoke that she was an elf, being so close it was a bit hard to miss... due to her incorporating ears and her very blue eyes and natural grace.

Alyce began to grow irritated, the glow in one of her eyes coming back. Nothing was happening. Nothing was coming out to expose itself. Truly, if there was anything watching her, she didn't blame it. Especially if it wasn't that creature, and happened to be a human. Hell, if it was one trying to attack her she'd drive her fusion sword through them to cut them into two before they could begin to even speak. But, Alyce knew that this was no human.

Rather than speaking any more, she growled quietly. She began to run again in the direction she was going. "Maybe I'm just tired. Or going crazy," she thought to herself, doubtfully. She didn't feel tired. And she wasn't going crazy. If she was crazy, it would have happened a long time ago.

Leaping from one roof to the next, she stopped again to get a good view of where she was. Her path to the HQ.. She was likely going to end up a bit wet. At least it wouldn't be as much as going to the underwater entrance. For the hell of it, she searched around again for any movement apart from her own. "Are you going to come out yet?" she said out loud, in case there was actually someone, or something following her. And if this person was undesirable in their HQ, she didn't want to be the one that blindly led them their.

Sarabelle blinked a little when Dontee lowered his voice, asking if she was an elf. She was about to deny it somehow when he patted his own chest and mentioned that he was a dragon. The tenseness that had come over her the moment he asked if she was an elf was replaced with a gentle sigh of relief and a small smile. Ya, I'm an elf, really that obvious, huh? she said with a slight grin and short laugh before adding A dragon? I sensed you were something other than just a human. It's been a long time since I've met someone who wasn't a human. What are you in this city for? She smiled a little, feeling much more comfortable around him now that her suspicions had been confirmed. And a dragon? That was rather interesting, she couldn't remember meeting a dragon before.

Dontee shrugs his shoulders. "Well, I have sharp eyes and spotted your ears... but I wouldn't doubt that, you know, humans wouldn't much pick up that you're not human... You probably receive more stares for your appearance as being wonderful, rather than odd, by men alike." He says with a smile. He then looks away from the elf to look forward. ”… I am here because I like to look over the humans, despite the fact they have nearly eliminated my own race completely. I feel the human race itself is a lot like everyone on the planet as a whole… there may be those that are heartless and could care less about environmental impacts, but then there are the many that care about every living being on the planet… The humans are like the world’s children, without them, there’s little hope for the future.” He says before looking to Belle and ask ”… and how come an elf as yourself is in the city?”

Sarabelle sighed a bit when he mentioned seeing her ears, shifting her hair around them a bit just out of habit. She was so bad at hiding them, but they weren't exactly easy to hide, they kept poking out from behind her hair. Belle couldn't help but smile a bit when he said that she probably got stares from her appearance being wonderful rather than odd. She was smiling more so because she was thinking back on some men's odd attempts to get her attention than the fact that he had said her appearance was wonderful. She kind of just listened as he continued to speak, watching him curiously. As he spoke about humans eliminating the majority of his race, she felt some sympathy for him. He was probably one of the few remaining of his kind... which was probably the reason she hadn't met a dragon before. She paused for a moment after he finished speaking and asked her why she herself was there in the city.

I'm looking for the army of the Defenders, to join. Been searching for quite some time now, and heard this was the place to come, just a rumor though. I've been led to countless different places by ridiculous rumors. she said softly, not really thinking to explain what the Army of the Defenders was or anything. She kinda assumed he would of at least heard of it because of the reason he was here in the city, and since he was a dragon. Well, pretty much everyone but humans knew about the wars, so why shouldn't he?

Dontee's eyebrow raised slightly, hearing she was looking for the army of the Defenders, but kept a smile shaking his head slightly after. "Well... it's probably the closest you'll get to the Defenders through rumors, but I got to say it did lead you pretty close." He says before leaning back. "Well, I could show you were to go to get to the Defender's HQ if you're looking to join... All races are welcome to join the Defenders, so long as those who join are of sound heart and soul." He says with a small smirk. He then shrugs his shoulders. "... but you have to promise to keep the location a secert, alright?"
