The latest would be Wednesday. Love going to my summer place. The only downside is that the mobile reception is spotty, the Gs are sucky, and there's no actual net connection. I can use the mobile app to check in with Gaia but there's only one downside to that, it doesn't do guilds yet. I'm very selective of what I check on with my phone while I'm there. Last time I was using my data in order to keep an eye on my emails, my mom's emails, and my dad's emails to keep an eye on what was happening with my uncle and his ailing health and I checked in with Instagram a lot.

Speaking of which, if anyone wants to check out what I do mostly with my phone you can follow my IG stuff through my Statigram page.

Shugo Chara was one of the first animes I ever watched. I was in love with Ikuto in those days. xd Ah that brings back memories!

The last magic girl anime I watched was Madoka Magica...which was only a few months ago.lol

I'm going to totally date myself here with this. The first anime I recall ever watching was Battle of the Planets (Orig. Science Ninja Team Gatchaman) during its first run on American television. Although, I didn't really know it was an anime or that anime existed at the time. That was how it was with a lot of things like the original messed up run of Voltron and Robotech when I was a kid. Ah, good old 80s television. xp

I can't remember the last Maho Shoujo series I've watched because I try out so many things on that Crunchyroll app.

Haha I was the same when I was a kid. xd Technically the first animes I ever watched were shows on TV like Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh and Cardcaptors. Like yourself, I had no idea that these were actually Japanese animes. It was only when I rediscovered anime again in my early teens that I realized what they were. Shugo Chara was one of the first animes I watched online as apposed to on TV.

I wished I had been born in the 80's-you all had the best music and TV! whee It's funny looking back, I used to think Yu-Gi-Oh was one of the best shows ever. In hindsight, it wasn't a particularly brilliant anime, especially when large parts of it were probably censored out like the english version of Cardcaptor Sakura, Cardcaptors. But I remember rushing from school to get home in time to watch those shows. I was a major anime fan and I didn't even realize it. lol

You do realize the first run of Battle of the Planets was back in 1978 when I was three. xp

I think the first time I really started to realize just what it was that I had been watching was when the Sci-Fi channel aired anime on Saturday mornings and I saw Robot Carnival for the first time, Toonami offered their Reactor online streaming and I fell in love with Record of Lodoss War, and Adult Swim began airing Cowboy Bebop. Oh man I was a total nut for Cowboy Bebop back then. That's when I really became a fan of Japanese animation.

Oops, my bad, I didn't realize Planets was quite that old. xd

I absolutely adored Cowboy Bebop too. Not long after I had started watching anime online, my brother stumbled across it when looking up sic-fi topes on TV tropes, thought it sounded good, and watched it on the internet. I got curious about the show he was so addicted to, and started watching the episodes with him. Before long we were both big fans of the series. For an older anime, I think the art has dated really well. I like the more realistic look it has.

I didn't find out about anime till I was fourteen. I had posted in one of those "pick a theme song for the avatar above you" threads on Gaia, and someone choose a song from Cardcaptors for my avatar. It reminded me again of how much I loved that show a child, and it made me want to rewatched it. It was only when I started looking up stuff about it that it slowly dawned on me that Cardcaptors was actually a Japanese anime. So in a really round-about way, it's thanks to Gaia that I rediscovered anime.

I love TV tropes, but it has a habit of sucking my life away, especially when I realize I've 20+ tabs open at once. rofl

I'm Henry the 8th I am,
Henry the 8th I am, I am,
I got married to the widow next door,
She's been married 7 times before,
And every one was a Henry (Henry),
She wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam (no Sam)
I'm her 8th old man I Henry,
Henry the 8th I am

Second verse same as the first
I'm Henry the 8th I am,
Henry the 8th I am, I am,
I got married to the widow next door,
She's been married 7 times before,
And every one was a Henry (Henry),
She wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam (no Sam)
I'm her 8th old man I Henry,
Henry the 8th I am

Personally, I used to like TV Tropes... until they made EVERY. OTHER. TROPE a "YMMV" thing, which is kind of stupid, since EVERYTHING would *technically* fall under that category. And then you can't give criticism (not even in the polite constructive sense) or else you'll get banned for "unpopular opinion". Bleh.

(No offense if you still go there, I'm just saying that it's not my cup of tea any more.)

And in other news... no water here! Gotta use the water from the garden hose to even BATHE! Yippee... I hate my tacky house so much. I can't wait to learn to drive and get all the proper IDs so I can move outta here!
