Ithor - Tafanda bay

The Twi'lek had just gotten back on her feet as Kal approached to try and apologize in his own way.

"It's fine."

Her tone of voice is stern, yet somewhat distant, her attention focused more on the spot where the two Sith had just disappeared from. When they didn't seem to suddenly re-appear, she carefully slid her blaster back in it's holster and turned to Kal, seemingly ignoring the devastation of public property around them.

"I do know how to take care of myself, you know."

She wasn't sure if she was supposed to be angry at him, or if she even wanted to know just what the hell that was all about, so she simply looked at him with narrowed eyes. Though her stance and expression came off as annoyed, her eyes hinted with a glint of concern.

They were going to have to have a serious talk about all of this. And by that, she really meant all of this.

The ship lurches before Mab makes it to the top of the ramp and she only manages to not fall from her footing by grasping the sides of the hatch, curling her fingers like claws around its edge. She hears the small, musical woman order weapons fire within the hangar and then turn to Mabysyn, demanding her do something. The Jedi echoes her, asking her to hurry, and she bathes the both of them in a scathing glance before shoving her way towards the bow, close enough to see through the viewport. Not that there is much to see with her blanket of darkness still in effect.

Her anger is ebbing, and she can feel the drain threatening her. Feeding from Ronyo had given her strength, a tremendous amount, and the few victims on the Corruo had granted even more, but even she had her limits. The hotter she burned, the faster she faded.. and she was on the dying side of her internal inferno, but it wasn't over yet. Sephis was really beginning to irritate her, and while she had a focal point to her anger she could focus her thoughts.

Though she wanted to kill him she also wanted to live and, now, join Isani - wherever she was. So her intent shifted from murder to misdirect, and her eyes focused on the darkness outside of the ship while her hand stretched out as if reaching for it. Her mind's eye painted a perfect image of this same ship, the same faces beyond the port, while clouding the mind of those outside of it. The darkness she'd called on to hide their escape withdrew, came back to her, revealing an illusion of their escape vessel struggling against Sephis' attack, while the rest of her energies focused on suppressing and obscuring the Gurlanin's senses.

"Go. Now." She hissed through clenched teeth, her reaching arm and eyes still focused on the hangar outside of the viewport.

[ En Route to Anaxes ]

"You heard her! Go!" Mae shouts, steel edging her lilting accent. The ship takes off and escapes through the bay doors, and Mae assumes this Neiva person has done something to counter whatever s**t the guy who'd been trying to capture her had pulled. Good. As much as Force-users were a pain in the a** (R. included, for all that Mae liked her), having one on your side when there was another against you was pretty damn nice.

As soon as they clear the bay doors and get to a minimal safe distance, the stars streak and blurr and the ship lurches as it makes the jump to hyperspace.

Mae drops her slugthrower, glad she didn't have to use it -- R. said minimal casualties and as much stealth as possible. Since the stealth attempt had crashed and burned, with no survivors Mae could at least go with no casualties... Well, at least Neiva's alive, and her blonde girl too.

"Send a message forward to Anaxes," Mae orders coolly. "Let Darth Isani know we're on our way, with an extra. Some blonde girl -- " She glances over her shoulder to ask Irella, "Who're you again? Wait, ******** it never mind, I forgot I don't care. Just tell Isani some blonde. I'm sure our mighty Sith can handle an extra person."

As her commandeered com officer rushes to relay her message (probably in more formal terms), Mae turns Neiva, frowning as she studies the Anzat. Scary as s**t, to be sure... And she's helping the Sith get in contact with another crazy as s**t Sith. Perfect. Just what Mae likes.

"Anaxes is our rendezvous point," the Bimmini informs Neiva. "I've been told you've been there before. Please try not to eat anyone on the way... At least, not me."

Naboo/ Outside the Flowergirl's House

Ronyo saw Sam come out of the house more composed than she had been, but the feeling of held back emotion still lingers about the woman. Moment by moment Ronyo was seeing his old master coming back, but part of the Jedi Master wondered if that was the best thing right now. Sam had an incredibly rare moment for a Jedi given the fact she is still slowly regaining her memory. She has the chance to make changes and also allow herself to feel like a normal woman would in a time like this. As the force begins to come back to her those emotions could become dark so the window for her is shrinking with each passing moment.

Looking around Ronyo can see that Mina and the other Jedi had left with little more than a feint trace in the force remaining. Looking over at Omega he asks his canine companion about the twos whereabouts and the wolf confirms that they left a short while ago. Their leaving is something of an oddity for Ronyo with it being just after coming across a weeping Sam-El and a dead man who seemed close to the woman. Ronyo would never blame his fellow Jedi but he also did not know the full story of what happened yet and so his suspicions were peaked for a moment.

Hearing Sam speak about the funeral preparations and then asking about Mina and the other one, Kennero it sounded like, Ronyo had moved over to his speeder and gently and respectfully placed the man in the back seat of the vehicle. He knows it will be easier to talk with Sam if she doesn't have to continue to look at the body during the exchange. As Ronyo moves towards his former master he also keeps his hands clasped loosely behind his back, in his former military at-ease position, to hide the blood that now adorned his armor.

"Omega tells me the two left a short while ago, we can contact them once we reach the city if we need to," Ronyo gave a small grin as he realized he had not introduced his four legged companion before referring to him, "Sam-El, this is Omega a friend I made after my first trip to Tython. He is sensitive to the force and can communicate with the force should you need to ask him anything," Omega had moved closer to Ronyo during the introduction and explanation, "We can depart whenever you are ready Sam, or we can stay as long as you would like as well," Moving to his old Master he put his hands on her shoulder and gave a small smile, "I wish it was under better circumstances but it's good to see you again. It's just us now my old master anything you want to say fill free, you are among those who care for you."

Rokumasu Kiriyu

PostPosted: Wed Aug 10, 2011 11:02 pm

Coruscant: Republic Judiciary Central Detention Center

Rokumasu was sitting Indian style in the center of his cell, with his hands still bound behind him. He wasn't surprised, since it made perfect sense to take those extra precautions against a force user. Most of his time was spent in meditation, trying to decide how he should go about accomplishing his goals, given his current predicament. Roku knew that attempting to plead his case to any guards stationed outside would do little good. His best bet was little more than a guess on his part, and that concerned him greatly. If they were being this cautious about his detainment there, wherever there was, he doubted that the Republic intended to keep him in this cell for very long. It was likely that he would be transferred to a more secure location, under the supervision of a highly trusted and capable individual. If that's the case, it could be possible to make his case with him or her, with the hopes that they'd be willing to listen to begin with.

Some time later, Rokumasu was resting his temple against the wall, near the corner of the cell. His thoughts drifted back to the dreams he had, while he was unconscious from the soldiers strike to his head. It was strange to him, and although he could recall only small details of them now, the emotions he had felt stayed with him. He experienced them from the first person point of view, surrounded by the unmistakable scenery of Coruscant. It felt so real that it wasn't until he had regained consciousness that he realized he was still inside the cell, a very strong contrast from the trees and fresh air that was surrounding him. Roku remembered chasing a woman through the vegetation, anxious to catch up to her, almost as if they were racing. He was struggling to keep up, barely managing to maintain a visual of her, until he tripped and fell from the branch in the tree. Rokumasu didn't fall far, but the landing was painful nonetheless. She returns to his side reaching out her hand, smiling at him and laughing. Everything after that is a blur, except for one phrase. "I'm sorry, Master Kai."

A voice he had not heard before called for his attention, dragging him back to the present. Outside his cell stood a Doneer in a Republic uniform, who gave off the appearance of knowing how to take care of himself. There was a confidence about his posture and tone, and seeing how the other guards reacted towards him, he assumed he might be someone of importance in their ranks.

"Here's the thing, sir. If you come clean with me now, I don't have to turn you over to NRIS. NRIS stands for New Republic Intelligence Services. They will interrogate you on a surgical level. Are you up for that?"

Rokumasu's face bore a small smirk after he had finished speaking. It was almost comical, even though some would find it difficult to see anything funny about it.

"Not much of a choice, but it can't be helped. I am your prisoner, after all." Roku stood up off the floor. "Given what happened, I'd understand if we are past the 'I mean you no harm' phase."

[ Coruscant, Detention Center ]

As soon as Rikka lands, she makes for her darling little Director-General to drop off her black ops crew and change into Jedi robes. A Force Illusion is easier if all one has to do is change the face, so Rikka wears the robes and constructs her illusion. When she's finished, it's Jedi Knight Armina Rahl who stares back at her from the mirror, and it's sweet Mina who smirks wickedly and turns on her heel to head for the detention center.

"Knight Rahl," she introduces herself to the men on duty at the detention center with a serene smile worthy of the real Knight Rahl. "Where is the Force-sensitive prisoner?" There's a touch of Suggestion in her voice, and she receives the answer easily though she can already sense Rokumasu's signature; Rikka conceals her own.

"Pardon me, sir," Rikka greets the military officer who stands outside the Force-sensitive's cell. "I'm here to take the prisoner."

Republic Judiciary Central Detention Center, Coruscant

One of Cole's antenna twitched. This young man was clever.

"" Cole said, ignoring the prisoner's probe. "What is your name, exactly?>"

If this man honestly thought he was between a rock and a hard place, then he should cooperate fully... Unless he had help waiting for him outside of here.

Cole turned at the sound of fast moving footsteps approaching him. Both antennas went straight up at the sight of Jedi Knight Armina Rahl. Cole didn't know her personally, but he recognized her face, having seen it more than once on a list of VIP diplomats that frequented Coruscant every now and again. Cole considered a third option. The help might come to the prisoner. Jedi Knight or no, though, how did she get in here?

"Pardon me, sir," the Knight said. "I'm here to take the prisoner."

Cole's antenna twitched up and down. This was peculiar. Why was she here? Cole was under the distinct impression that he was here to determine who or what this prisoner was, and that affiliation with the Jedi or Sith hadn't been confirmed, yet. How would she know that this young man was here? Something about this stank worse than a bantha.

"" Cole asked, gesturing back the way the Knight Rahl had come from.

Rikka nods genially and steps to the side with the captain, or whatever. As soon as they're out of earshot, she gives the Doneer a perplexed smile. "Grandmaster Ronyo didn't contact you?" she asks with confusion. "I suppose he might have forgotten - he was called away rather urgently to Naboo." That much is true enough. "This man - his name is Rokumasu - he was once a good friend of the Grandmaster's before he Fell... I'm here to assess whether or not he's refound the Light."

Rikka smiles another one of Mina's serene ones. "I'm here to help our wayward knight, and bring him back if I can, per the Grandmaster's request."

Detention Center, Coruscant

"" Cole said, stiffening up slightly at this girl's strong attempt to dissuade him. ""

Cole felt a little more at ease with Rahl's explanation of what she was doing here, but that still didn't explain how she got here in the first place. She also seemed presumptive about standard Republic operating procedure. This wasn't the Jedi Temple. You couldn't just barge in on a "meeting"-- more like an interrogation-- without any ramifications occurring. Cole would give her the benefit of the doubt for the moment, though. Perhaps Cole wasn't completely in on the loop himself.

"" Cole suggested. ""

"Yes," Rikka says sweetly. A Force Flash renders her invisible to surveillance devices and droids, and then she cocks her arm back to deliver a blow to Cole's face. "I'm the really bad cop." She uses a mild Force Stun as well, to ensure that he stays unconscious. Hopefully he won't wake up in time to stop her from kidnapping Rokumasu.

And the best part is, the Republic will think it was Jedi Knight Armina Rahl who did all of this.

Whistling a short tune, Rikka approaches Roku's cell door and opens it. "Mommy misses you, sweetheart," she tells the ex-Sith.

Coruscant: Detention Center

Before Roku could answer the officer's question, a woman interrupted the discussion claiming that she was here to "take the prisoner". She wore robes similar to what a Jedi would wear, if not exactly the same, and Roku could sense the Force about her. The Doneer appeared surprised, but reacted as if he knew her, so Rokumasu saw no reason to be concerned. His paranoia caused him to be a little suspicious of everyone, and it was often troublesome to control those thoughts. Roku did his best to convince himself that it was simply his way of being cautious, but he knew more than anyone that he was simply uneasy about trusting someone other than himself.

When the two walked off to the side, out of his sight, Roku understood that they were more than likely sorting out the situation of his transfer, and who would oversee it. He simply turned around and took a few steps away from the barrier, towards the back wall, giving them the time they needed. However, a sudden release of Force energy poked at his senses, causing him to rush back to the exit trying to get a visual of what had happened. He could barely see what appeared t be the Doneer, collapsed and unconscious on the floor, and he backed away suddenly when the Jedi had returned. She began whistling a strange tune, and opened his cell door. Still bound at the wrists, and weaponless, Rokumasu's confidence wavered with uneasiness. He still didn't know who she was, or why she was here, but it obvious to him now that her use of the word "take" was meant quite literally.

"Mommy misses you, sweetheart"

His cool mannerisms all but faded in the presence of the newcomer, almost completely replaced by anxiety.

"Who are you, and what the hell are you talking about?"

Rikka snorts.

Does he remember anything? She isn't sure, and really doesn't care too much either. There's one (somewhat) surefire way to get him to go with her though, aside from knocking him out, concealing his body with a Force Illusion, and dragging him out (which is actual surefire way.)

Roku's got binders on, which is really kind of cute, Rikka thinks. They'd maybe hold her for a few seconds or though, and she doesn't understand why this man would consent to being handcuffed. He has the power to rip them off with a thought -- or he once did, at least.

"Oh, don't be scared," Rikka purrs walking up to Roku and placing a "reassuring" hand on his shoulder. Pressing up against him Rikka murmurs, "I'm here to help you."

Coruscant: Detention Center

Rokumasu leaned against the wall as far as he could, when Rikka began to press her body against his, his wrists bound behind his back at about his waist. The tone in her voice and the way she carried herself, not to mention how she approached him, made him more anxious than before. He was unsure how he should proceed, from this point on. The binders around his wrist, although not much of a hold, were the only proof of cooperation with the republic he could prove. Even if the Republic Officer were to explain to his superiors who attacked him, they would likely theorize that he was in league with her, and this was a rescue for him. In truth, he possessed a neither clue as to her identity or why she would come here for him, nor did he wish to leave with her.

The fact that she had attacked the guards keeping watch over him was proof that she wasn't with the Republic, and placed much doubt that she was a Jedi. He refused to believe that relations between the two were that poor, and if they were, he expected the Republic to be the aggressors. Unarmed, and possibly outclassed, he decided to play along.

"I'm listening."

[ Naboo ]

Mina nods and follows Kennero to the back of the house. When they find the speeders, she glances back towards the front of the house. "We should bring the speeder around to pick up the woman," she tells Kennero.

She lets him bring the speeder around to the front, and helps him load the woman into the backseat, under Ronyo's wolf's watchful eye. That done, they set off for Theed after Kennero contacted R9. Mina is content to sit in silence for part of the short ride, but after a moment she is compelled to ask by worry and by the need to know (because she knows Kennero all too well), "You aren't going to go after her, are you?"

The way she phrased the question implies Mina doesn't want Kennero to, but her inflection, and just her convey that whatever Kennero's answer, Mina will of course support him. Even if she has to worry a little more every day about his safety (or go with him to ensure he's safe.)

"He's listening, he says," Rikka says theatrically, as though she's explaining something to an audience. There's sardonic amusement in her voice, and she rolls her eyes at Rokumasu -- something the true Mina Rahl has probably never done. "Well then, keep listening."

She grabs him by the arm and walks him out of the detention bay, past Cole's unconscious form and back the way she came. "Commander Barrack has handed the Force-sensitive over to me," Rikka informs the officer she'd spoken to earlier, who was running down the hallway with a squad consisting of three others, all blasters armed (though set on stun.)

"Knight Rahl! You disappeared on our feeds, and-"

Rikka waves a hand at him, the Mind Trick working flawlessly. "Don't worry about it. Nothing unusual happened. Commander Barranks is fine."

"Nothing unusual happened..." the man repeats. "Alright, men, let's head back. Do you need transport, Knight Rahl?"

"It's already been arranged," Rikka informs the man with a smile, continuing to march Rokumasu down the corridor and in the direction of the hangar bay.
