Shunatsu Warning: Strictly NO MEMBERS of the room are able to take part in ANY contests within the Ball. I will dissect anyone who says otherwise. *whips out scapel* ^w^ But elaborate. What's a Haiku contest? What is a Haiku you ask... well a haiku is a short poem (?) made up of three lines. on the first line there are 5 syllables. on the second line there are 7 syllables. and on the third line there are 5 syllables again.for example: It's so cold outside,
It's a hurricane out there,
but it's almost spring.Hope that Helped biggrin

8D Yes! That really, really helped, Yui-rocks. Thank you! =D *hugs* That's a great idea of a contest!! Haiku can serve as a fun little side challenge for our guests! And yes, feel free to host it if you like, alone or with Ninja-chan, I leave it completely up to you. XD Great job thinking bout that, guys!! =D *thumbs up* Dusky proved to be worthy a host. And honestly, every single one of you are co-hosts to the room, really. So don't forget every one of you are very important!! The room can't do without you!! LOLOLOLOLOLOL!! ARES!! OMG XDDDDDDDD That DOES sound like him, doesn't it? XDDDDDD OMG If we can pull of something as amusing as Ares and Enyo again imagine the EPICNESS BABEH!! XD Hmmm... Envy could be a bright person trying to socialise with people as much as he/she could, but then is constantly rejected because of others' envy towards him/her. And yes. I very, very much agree with the idea that Love is a person hard and tough on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside. ... I keep having an image of Love swearing a lot. XD How amusing that would be!! XD And I reckon we let the guests decide who is Envy and Love before revealing it to them at the peak or something. Bet with you lot 80% of the guests will automatically assume Love is Envy and Envy is Love. XD Quote: So if Love is a guy (we would change his name, obviously), he'd try to act kind of tough but he's actually really sweet and tries to appease everyone...which (this could be another reason for the fight) makes him a little annoyed and weary at the end of the day when he's with Envy. Then Envy might get jealous of how love is always paying attention to everyone but his little brother? I absolutely LOVE this idea!! 8D 8D 8D It's a very good reason for how Envy and Love ended up fighting with each other, as Envy was lonely and felt that Love didn't love him anymore, and Love feeling that Envy is childish and doesn't understand his/her predicament. All in all, Love can be an older sibling and Envy as the younger. Also, since we have a Haiku contest, why not give Envy and Love Japanese names (as Haiku is actually from Japanese)? The Japanese stresses the importance of family values, and this could very well reflect both Envy and Love's relationship. Anyone agree? Last thing: About the side characters. I reckon we have one character who is a close friend of both Envy and Love, and is trying to fix their relationship; while another as the sort of 'bad guy' poisoning naive little Envy's thoughts about how his/her sibling doesn't care about him/her, triggering nasty thoughts and eventually the fight. Any ideas? Inputs? Feedback? Fire away!! We need to discuss this! P.S: HEY. MEETING. THIS WEEKEND. YES OR NO, PEOPLE? I NEED TO ARRANGE THIS BY THE END OF THE WEEK AND NOTIFY YOU GUYS. biggrin DD that would be an AMAZING feat if we were as awesome as last year, because frankly, we were pretty freaking amazing...not that I'm egotistical or anything XDD
I still dunno about Envy being the most social person...maybe he's one of those people that really isn't that bad but also wants a lot of attention.

AGAIN, making me think of Ares XD Man I miss that guy :]. And...not to sound full of myself, but I reallllllllly like the idea shu quoted *points at it like a spazzy twitch person)* XD
I love love loooove the idea of having japanese names, it would be really cool since a lot of people in gaia make their usernames japanese words.
I love the idea of love and envy having 2 close friends with the 1 or 2 poisoners (however many people we have...i forgot... >.<).
Personally, if you don't mind, I'd love to be Envy smile he seems like such a cute little boy X) Also, if they're brothers, I think they should look similar. Like they both have blonde hair and blue eyes or something...maybe not that because it's so cliched (I, personally, like green eyes better... :]), but something to show they are brothers. Also, as SOON as we decide on characters we start avatars, ok? Shu, I think we should make a profile like broken did last year with like the fears and strengths, etc. It really helped us get into our characters :]
Question: Does anyone object to them being brothers? Cuz... I like the idea. I think everyone would expect them to be sisters and having guys host the room would be an interesting twist :] Besides, I have a feeling a lot of girls will be coming to this room and maybe having guy hosts will help balance it out.
Also, Saturday is a thumbs up. We just need a specific TIME. I can make it as long as it isn't too early in the morning, as I have a party I'll be spending the night at.
So...as a base this is what I was thinking for the brothers (if we use them): light skin, I dunno what hair, and green or blue eyes. Cloths: They should probably be dressed up, they care about their image. Love might used softer colors whereas Envy might use darker colors. I dunno, just thoughts.

I'm flexible, Dusky. If you wanna be Envy, and if you can manage his personality, then go ahead. =D 0.0 I don't remember Ares swearing a lot. 0.0 Did he now?!
Btw, for those of you wondering (and to stop keeping you in the dark cause that's just mean), Dusky and I played Enyo and Ares (siblings) for last year's Ball in Hades Palace. XD We had Ares going batshit crazy over his sister cause of his sister complex. XD Overprotective Ares = Buncha chaos. XD AND YES. LAST YEAR WAS DAMN AWESOME, THE BOTH OF US. LETS MAKE IT EVEN BETTER THIS YEAR. >=D
Japanese names will be SO COOL. And a haiku contest will make it EVEN COOLER. =D Any objections to that? Anyone else on the input of gender? Comments? Ideas? Cause if not we'll just go by Dusky's idea and Envy and Love shall finally be hes. xD And yes. I also have a feeling that there will be lotsa girls coming in... @.@ If they're expecting Titanic-y love... *dies* Does anyone in this room prefer that? If not we'll go by the idea of them being siblings, then move on to the rest of the characters (which shall be your roles! =D) as well as the plot.
Which moves on to... the descendant, the bad guy and good friend of Envy and Love. What kind of people are they and how can we corporate them into the plot?
Please, PEOPLE. Give some suggestions and ideas! D= Crafting the plot just isn't between Dusky and I, it's between everyone!! D= So far we've got fabulous ideas, like the haiku contest (Ninja and Yui) and the idea of the descendant (sailor), but please elaborate on them, and if you can, focus on the discussions we're having now. This is now your characters, and the majority of it is for you to decide.

OMG please can i bring my bar back? Even though i was not part of the plot, i was still kickass:3 it will also raise the numbers of male people in the room, because, every guy likes alcohol! And will also add a chance to get people more involved in a role play, in which will make are awesome room a, even.. awesomer room biggrin
I also love the idea that love and envy are brothers, but maybe they can be a similar age. Because what i vision, is that Love sings poems and gives people flowers, possessing a sensitive, and a very low timid attitude.
While Envy mocks him, and is ALWAYS sarcastic, but on the inside, wants to be like Love, so he has always had a nasty grudge on him. He would have a vary of dark attitudes, like a "envious" attitude, mixed with a hatred of some sort.
(Btw I was getting a Advanced math class done, i now have 4 college credits:3)

Sorry Sailor, but generally the hosts are the two main characters...for example, the two hosts for the room shu and I were in last year were Shu and Broken, and they played Ares and Hades, the two main people.
Shu, Ares didn't actually swear during the ball, but I remember in your character description of him the last part went something like 'Oh, and don't mind if he swears a lot. Doing so makes him feel cool' :]
Sub, usually the ball goers do say there's a bar, even if we didn't. You can probably be the bartender if we can fit him into the plot in some way, otherwise ballgoers usually take over that role. Maybe you could secretly be the descendant or something o.o
Also, I dunno about the 'timid' part..but otherwise, yes, I'm thinking of love being a pretty easy going guy.
So, these are our thoughts on characters it sounds like:
Love: Happy, easygoing, sensitive, helpful, goes to lengths to make people comfortable.
Envy: Love's bro who's kind of meanish and either envious OF love, or envious that love spends all his time with other people, kind of a dark attitude.
Personally, I like the idea of Envy being the younger brother better... or at least that's how he's thought of since they ARE both thousands of years old.

but you have to admit, i was pretty kicking, because if people couldn't find anyone, i was always there and involved in a lot of things, but i couldn't help but mention that Hades didn't like me much he ignored me constantly. But anyways, i like the idea of the descendant, like from envy, but i deny the fact i am the son of envy, so many things can happen! > biggrin
But i don't want them to take over sad i think i broke a ball record (memo: suggest we make a bell-records page)

Psssht, Hades was too busy being obsessive XD I wish I could say I did, but I don't remember you last year... o.o But, as you'll probably find out, it gets insanely busy crazy during the ball...like, no kidding...ugh. *bangs head against the wall* I reaaaaaaaaally hope we don't have a repeat of last year with some situations >.<
Anyway, like I said, we'll see how it goes! It might be awesome but you have to fit into the plot. Besides, it's good to have the ball goers have their ow things going on and set up.

i can also be a slave, and or servant of some sort, im very good at roles that consist of some sort of waiter, bartender, and or slave, but sadly dusky you are right, the guests should have a bit more time to bump into other people, yes, but it just gives some of those first years something to do, and not feel all that nervous while they can chat in a very easy going environment, I remember last year, I started at least 15 conversations between the guests, as they sit next to each other, and order a drink, thinking its very natural to sway into a conversation, I would wash the wine glasses, do very fancy tricks, or I would just suggest a drink, as some of the ball goers can just grab stuff from the bar, as some did do that last year, I also waited a few tables and I was healed by the Egyptian queen. I was a big hit, considering my role plays had nothing to do with the plot of last year4 XD and if you don't remember me last year, go look back into the middle pages im on almost ever single one. I was on all Saturday and half of Sunday lol but this year, that weekend will be completely off biggrin

I honestly don't feel like trying to find one of your posts amongst hundreds and thousands >.< But I'm glad to know we have another person from Hades room, cuz that was awesome biggrin And yea, it's good to have something that brings people together. Like I said, though, if it fits into the plot you could do it, but we aren't going to change the plot to fit that. OR if we have an extra person that doesn't have a special role, although, we could still probably fit you in...maybe like as love/envy's closest friend or whatever that was shu was talking about... I dunno, we'll talk about it at the meeting. Is everyone coming? They better be! We just need a specific time from Shu... *waits impatiently*
