"Seriously, Who is this guy Tucker? You seem to have looked at me like I was insane or something when I said I'd never heard of him. And I really never had until you said his name. Who is he?" William asked.

"Shoa Tucker is the Sowing Life Alchemist. He is the guy that wrote the book on Chimera creation.......and he is also my idol. He's the man that made me want to make Chimeras.....and to see his research I had to become a State Alchemist.......and her I am." Nina Told William smiling slightly.

Shot looked at Sam and then at Flandre "Now that who's there.....and I'm not cute." Shot grumbled that last part. Sam's face lost it's smile and turned serious "Leave him to me." Sam said a hard edge creeping into his voice.

"Sounds Impressive. Though I know that the guy has never made one of a plant based chimera. And I can guarantee the guy has never made one of these," and he held up the chimera egg. "The chimera that hatches from this will not be soulless, and I have not and will not have to bond the soul of another living thing to give it one. The plant seed is vital in this aspect of the chimera because a plant seed is a life waiting to be born. Give that life blueprints for a different body than nature intended, one of a completely different type, and then encase it in a protective shell filled with yolk. The end result if the egg is taken care of properly is a baby chimera. A creature that holds no resentment or anger towards it's creator, and is as innocent, loving, and lovable as a newborn human. Though it cannot speak it's feelings or intentions in human speech, it is still a living entity. You see regular chimera making requires you forcefully fuse two or more living animals. Alchemic reactions are painless to the alhmist, but living animals involved, go through agony. It's why They have to be kept in cages. It's not that they are naturally violent. It's that they remember being two separate being and the excruciating agony the alchemist put them through. As a result if given the chance they will kill the alchemist that created them, and if confronted with regular people, it will kill them too."

"My method is harmless and the creatures born make excellent pets. They are often gentle of personality, though I have ended up with a few mean ones before."

"I know what he is......I had to fight one when I first arrived at Southern Command....he wasn't dead when I left...but he wasn't exactly alive either.....and he should worry about me....not the other way around." Sam said his face and voice growing even harder.

"Never." Shot defiantly ......and then he looked at Sam....who was grinning. "Yes you do." Sam told him. Shot glared at Sam and briefly thought of shooting his commander....and then dismissed it. "Fine....but after that I'm shooting you in the foot every time you call me cute." Shot said seriously......which Sam ruined by laughing loudly.

(Sorry......I'm only one person remember that plz.)
"That is truly astounding." Nina gushed looking up into William's face. "I'm really going to have to try and make one of them." Nina said running into the room she had been in before meeting the giant. Quickly gathering the ingredients she desired she began to mix them together....it was all for naught. "Ahhh." Nina said looking sad.

"Being an alchemist is not enough. Being an experienced chimera maker is not enough. I had the idea of doing this when I was 8. Back then I was already making chimera the regular way. Then when I was twelve My sister was killed, I attempted to bring her back but ended up creating a homunculus. I lost both arms in that process. I then drew a new transmutation circle around the monster I had created using my own blood instead of chalk and my toes to draw the lines. Then I performed the transmutation that destroyed the homunculus and transported me temporarily into the gate where I successfully performed alchemy and gained my current powers. I then woken up at my friends house with both arms missing all the way up to the shoulder. I had nearly bled to death by the time they had found me. It took six months of healing before I healed physically and mentally. That was fateful night was 9 years ago now. And I have since then had the ability to transmute merely by thought. I can't ignore equivalent exchange, though I have found a way to use my abilities to go around it. All good things come at a cost for someone. If you get something for free it came at someone elses expense. I got something and I paid dearly for it."

((Technically you are at least four. talking about characters.))

(Don't use semantics on me.......that's a lawyers job....are you a lawyer?)
Nina was a bit sad that she had failed but hearing William's story made her feel a little bit better....at least about her failure. "I'm sorry to hear that." Nina said with sadness on her face and in her voice....Nina had to suppress the urge to hug him....an urge she hadn't felt in a long time.
(semantic - Of or relating to semantics or the meanings of words; Reflecting intended structure and meaning; Petty or trivial; (of a person or statement) quibbling, niggling.....just in case you didn't know......and also in case I was wrong in it's usage.)

((I knew already what semantics meant. The point is you gave a very poor excuse for ignoring my post. It's kind of hard to miss the big wall of text when you scroll down to look at someone else's post. Especially in here where my posts tend to be big.))

William sighed and put the egg down in a container specially made to keep eggs in and keep them standing upright. Then he said, "Sit. You know my past now, and you have understood now the true meaning of equivalent exchange. There are very few exceptions in this world where equivalent exchange is ignored. Very very few. Maybe once every thousand species kind of few. Now You seem to want a Baby chimera of your own to care for, so I shall make one for you, but you have to promise to actually take care of the egg properly and do the same for the baby chimera that is born from it. Other wise You'll find that I won't be so nice to you. Accidents I can understand, but deliberate mistreatment is something I do not approve of. If you take this chimera egg that I going to make for you, You have to promise to take care of it properly. I've raised quite a few of these in my life, and they are just like babies of any mammal species, they need constant supervision and attention for the first few years. They're just like human babies in that they almost always need something, but after they open their eyes that doesn't change, though they become deeply attached to you and as they grow older they love you as a child unconditionally loves their parents. They are well worth the effort when they get past the pup stage at 7 years old. Very fun to be around, and very very loyal and even protective."
