Sonic looked at Jewel, "We even have the Freedom Fighters looking for them. Even our best detectives. No one can find out the whereabouts of the rebellion nor their leader... They are very creative and intelligent when it comes to hiding..."
Shadow stayed silent.
"But some day we will find them. I can't even go out to find them myself since they are after me." Sonic shrugged.
Shadow frowned, "Are we done yet?!"

jewels ears go back a little at shadow " sounds like you have a problem shadow." jewel said as she looks at shadow " I was only talking no reason to get so highstrung"

Shadow pointed his finger down, "Below this building, which is the basement." He said, "The rebellion doesn't know about the shelter so we should be fine until they leave."

jewel looks down slightly " oh. okay I'll just follow you two then" jewel said looking at stuff on the walls as they walked not talking to much only small talk " um, so how long have you and the king been so close?" jewel asked " If that isn't asking to much of corse"

"Haha! We go a long ways!" Sonic chuckled.
"Oh please... You managed to stay alive this far thanks to me." Shadow scoffed.
"I'll admit, that's true." Sonic nodded, "If it wasn't for Shadz here, I probably wouldn't have become the king here."
Shadow frowned.
"Kinda the reason why I made him my adviser..." Sonic said, "At first we didn't get along so well but now we work together like there's no tomorrow!"
Shadow stopped walking all of a sudden.

jewel just blinks just listening and walking " so um you two maybe kinda grew up together kinda then?" jewel stops being in the middle of sonic and shadow " hm something the matter?"

Shadow huffed a bit, "We weren't born in the same generation..." He said, walking again.
Sonic laughed a bit, "Yeah, he's older... by 50 years or something like that."

Both Sonic and Shadow looked at each other. Sonic shrugged, "Well looks aren't everything..."
Shadow crossed his arms.
Sonic smiled, "We'll tell you this. Shadow doesn't exactly age like us normal people."
"What do you mean by normal?!" Shadow glared at the blue hedgehog.
