{ Kyle : Hawaii : Beach }

Well that is...ridiculous. Stupid replica, using our means of comm-suddenly cold. Cold everywhere. Do not like. Ice does not belong on the beach in this form. Do not like. Those were the only thoughts running through Kyle's head as he burst up and dove into the water, desperately ridding himself of the ice. He stayed under for a bit, enjoying the feel of the warm water and pondering what it meant that Ajora could use the charms. He was also wondering if the other group knew. He figured they probably didn't, otherwise why not point out that the replica's could use the charms. Making a resolve to say something later, he came up to the surface.

Snowballs and water to the face. Slightly confused by what was going on, he walked out of the water. An argument? Playing? Well, best to confirm. "Hey ladies, what be going on? Having an argument over the best element or something?" He asked, amusement in his voice and a smile on his face. He felt bad for Dani though. Snowballs were cold.

[Nick :: Hawaii :: Beach]

Nick jumped and caught the frisbee, landing gracefully. Then falling onto his face. Damn sand and its magical ability to totally screw with your balance and make you look like a total fool. He hopped onto his fight and aimed right back to Ajora and Alan. With a flick of the wrist and let the frisbee rip.

...Right into the air. Sadly, Nick forgot that when it came to throwing frisbees, he SUCKED terribly at it. The aeromancer cursed under his breath, then grinned. Oh. Duh! I can manipulate wind! Time to fix this. He moved his hand and pointed to the frisbee, then aimed downwards towards Ajora. The wind swirled around the frisbee, sending it down towards the Dark Dragoon.

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Beach}

"Pfft, nah, I just wanted to throw snowballs at someone," Bobbi retorted as Kyle walked up to her and Dani. Foolishly, she left her guard down, completely open to retaliation from the younger girl.

((...wow, laem post is laem. o_O I should have waited for Dani to come back from her trip, but I couldn't resist posting something!))

[Dani :: Hawaii :: Beach]

Dani felt the snowball throw at her face and shivered right at the contact. “Stupid ice advantage” Dani thought to herself before wiping it off secretly.

Dani then quickly noticed that Bobbi had her back turned to the assassin and smirked. “You should never turn your back to an assassin.” Dani formed her hands into a sphere and watched as some of the salt water from the ocean come into her hand to make a water ball.

Dani then aimed right at Bobbi’s shoulder and threw it at her with a little bit of a spin on the orb. It really was not meant to hurt Bobbi but mostly try to get her really wet. If Bobbi did manage to move from the orb then Kyle would get hit with the orb and be covered in the salty water.

[Alan :: Hawaii :: Beach]

"That doesn't make genocide and conquest the same thing. If you kneed dough for the sake of baking bread, it doesn't make kneeing and baking equivalent. And Hitler lost."

Alan found himself almost disappointed by Ajora's responses so far. Somehow, he had assumed that Ajora had some kind of grander vision - a majestic, if misguided, goal. But what he was saying was just that he wanted to kill people because he's a jerk. Of course, he could be lying . . .

"Anyway, my summon is something fire-related. I could introduce you if you like. Now, let's continue working down the list of interrogative words. Who. Who are these certain people you hate so much you want to kill them?"

{ Ajora : Hawaii : Beach }

"Of course he lost. He picked the wrong allies. Mussolini was more a hindrance than anything," Ajora replied, rolling his eyes. He caught sight of Nicholas' errant frisbee, but didn't move to jump for it. A good call; he'd altered the wind to make it fly straight for him.

Ajora stuck his index and middle fingers into the air in one swift motion as the frisbee neared, giving them a slight twirl as the frisbee passed over. The fingers caught the rim of the disc, making it spin around his fingers as he listened to Alan's answer and next question.

Black mage, preference for fire magic, likely has healing capabilities... I wonder if those would be lost in the process?

"Stupid people. Such as people who ask stupid questions," he replied with a grin as he twisted the frisbee around him, flinging it from around his back. This time, the frisbee went high- a few yards above Nicholas' head. "People in the way, people I don't like, et cetera et cetera."

With a hand above his eyes to keep the sunlight from blinding him, he watched the frisbee fly with a smirk.

"Which of this group's Earthling's is a White Mage?" he asked, never taking his eyes off the flying disc. "Or most-closely-related class-type? The main healer, if you will."

{ATE :: Hawaiian Relaxation}
[Alan :: Hawaii, Beach]

"Italy isn't what I would have brought up - if he hadn't picked a fight with Russia, who knows what would have happened. He would have probably lost eventually, though, somehow. His fortunes went downhill as soon as he got it in his head that he could direct military action better than his generals. His brilliance was as an orator. Not really as anything else." Alan was being very careful to not use any questions in the discussion of Hitler. Ajora might do something obnoxious like consider it Alan's 'question' and demand one of his own.

Alan stood up and started pacing. He was feeling much more confident. Despite Ajora's insinuation that he had asked a stupid question, he had learned a lot from Ajora's answer. Genocide was the wrong word for what he had in mind. If it wasn't, he would have a much more specific group. His goal was really the absolute power of a tyrant. The annoying 'conquest or genocide' answer had now been made clear: Ajora was a conqueror bent on conquest.

Good to know.

As for his question . . . Alan didn't feel comfortable selling out Amy, so he opted for a vacuous truth. "We don't really have a main healer. Several people know white magic."

Well, it was technically true. Yes, Amy was the best White Mage, but she didn't really act as a primary healer most of the time. And Alan had probably dedicated as much energy to healing as to anything in this group (speaking of which, he was still bloodied from the last fight. He should fix that up at some point, he reflected.)

Alan glanced around. The other Earthlings were all kinda going crazy. And Ajora would probably get to more significant questions soon. Alan doubted that it was worth asking the next one he had in mind - what a replica is, exactly. He think he had a good enough idea, and idle academic curiosity wasn't worth giving Ajora another question.

Plus, he was worried about Amy.

"And with that," he said, I'm off. Beaches aren't my scene. Thanks for the Q&A. I found it very valuable." Waving a polite goodbye, Alan walked back to the village.

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Beach}

Bobbi shrieked in surprise as water not only splashed all over her, but also seeped into her suit. She stumbled away hastily, turning to lob another snowball at Dani. She was being careful to keep the snow loosely packed so that it didn't hurt when it hit, but splattered all over the place for maximum chill effect.

"Brat!" she said, laughing. She knew it was hypocritical, but that's what snowball fights were about! Er... snow-and/or-water ball fights. Whatever. Of course, having fun was top priority, too!

{ Kyle : Hawaii : Beach }

Nodding wisely, he turned back towards the sea when he felt a splash of water hit his back. Not very much, but it was there nonetheless. And he didn't agree with it. They were in for a nasty surprise. Kneeling down, he grabbed two handfuls of wet sand and molded them into balls. Once he was done, he sent them flying at the two, intent on covering them with the wet sand. The balls were made to explode on impact, so they wouldn't be hurt very much, but it would probably sting a bit.

[Dani :: Hawaii :: Beach]

Dani giggled as she ducked underneath the snowball that Bobbi had thrown at her. “Haha!” Dani stuck out her tongue out at the ice archer. “You missed you old la-“

Dani felt the sting of a wet sand ball hit her in the face and glared at Kyle. The wet sand had landed on the assassin’s tongue that was out in the open so Dani coughed and got rid of as much sand as she could off of her taste buds. “Sneak attack? You’re in for it now!”

Dani smirked as she knew that she had a slight advantage because of the ocean that was right near where the battle field was. She opened up her palms but this time, water balls did not fly into them.

Over near the ocean, a couple of water balls formed above the water before being “thrown” at both the earth wielder and the bow user. The attack was weak as usual but it would be hard to see where the water balls would come from.

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Beach}

"Old what?" the archer asked, doing her best to raise an eyebrow in inquiry. She wasn't very good at it, and the sneak attack from Kyle that caught her in the back of the head was a bit of a distraction.

She held carefully still, a look of wry amusement on her face. Well, a look of wry amusement that was doing a marvelous job of sneaking past her self-control and superseding the neutral "what is this f***ery" expression she was trying to wear. Then Dani's other water-globe hit her in about the same spot, and suddenly her facial expression was a very near match for the "-_-" emote.

She summoned two snowballs, again loosely packed, one in each hand, and spun in a complete circle, releasing first one ball at Dani, and the other at Kyle. Knowing her and her severe lack of hand-eye coordination when it came to thrown projectiles, they would probably fly past their marks and (knowing her luck) hit someone else, but hey, if she could get more people into this game, the better!

{ Kyle : Hawaii : Beach }

"Pff. You shan't beat me in sneak attacks!" Well, that's what he said, right before the water balls smacked him in the back. With a glare, he motioned with his hand and a small wave of sand erupted to swamp over her and try to bury her in the sand. That would show her to splash him in the back.

He couldn't really bring himself to swamp Bobbi with sand, as the throw had been pathetically far off. He hadn't even needed to move to avoid that. He just kinda glanced at her, with a bit of pity and amusement in his eyes. "...Really?"

The spin-and-throw had gotten Bobbi a bit closer to Kyle, and all she could really offer to his look of pity was a grin and a shrug. Then, she manifested another snowball, and this time threw it right in his face. She was close enough that if he didn't manage to duck it, it'd hit and splatter. She could hit things less than five feet away, anyway.

She also sent up a quick thanks to the Powers That Be that she could at least aim accurately with Taulmaril and her magic, if nothing else. Well, okay, battle magic, not throwing-things-at-your-friends-to-get-their-attention-and-or-make-a-nuisance-of-yourself magic.

Je suis a toi
[Tia Dalma]

Tia Dalma heard Kyle come in but did not turn around to face him. She was angrily boring a hole in a wall with her stare, arms crossed over her chest. How dare those insignificant humans lock her away? If she were in her right form . . .

"I be nat able t' escape your counsel," She spat angrily over her shoulder, "Speak as ye wish an' be on your way!"

Kyle cringed at Calypso's ire, his head remaining low to the ground.

"I ask your forgiveness first and foremost," he said, his tone as neutral as possible, though try as he might, he still sounded a little regretful. "I know you want nothing more to be free, but remaining in that cell... it's the only certain way that you will be able to successfully shed your human form and return to your rightful place. If you remain in there, and things go accordingly, you'll be free shortly after sunrise."

Kyle sighed, finally looking up to her face; however, he remained kneeling.

"Second, I wish to ask you a question pertaining to your abilities," he began, though he was sure to keep his pause short for fear of misunderstanding. "Specifically... in your human form, can you still feel the seas? I understand that your vast powers are limited, but can you still the life and soul of the ocean's being?"

{ Tia Dalma : Black Pearl : The Brig }

Tia Dalma kept her back to Kyle, arms folded over her chest. She closed her eyes when he asked if she could feel the seas, her eyebrows pressing together. It was difficult trying to regain her feeling for the ocean, especially with the limitation of being in a human form. The goddess was silent for several moments, beginning to sway slightly in longing for the ocean.

"I can," She replied softly, "But 'tis faint . . ."
