Darkpaw shot a look of gratitude towards Daypaw. He then turned to face Pebblestar. "Come on, you don't even sound the least bit positive. You really want me dead, don't you?" He glared at her.
Littlestrike looked down at Shadowfrost, who seemed to be sleeping peacefully. "Shadowfrost! Come with me." He mewed, waking Shadowfrost from his sleep, somewhat.

Anger shot through Pebblestar as she met Darkpaw's glare.
"Do you think I want my own apprentice dead?" she hissed. "After I saw your parents bodies, did you think that I'd want you dead too? Yes I sent them out there, and yes they died, did you think I wanted it to happen? Had Redfang and Orangepelt been here, I would have sent them, but they died a few weeks earlier in that mouse-brained battle with rogues! I tried so hard to make you happy and care for you in their place because I felt that I needed to spend the rest of my lives repaying you!"
Pebblestar took a deep breath, her hackles rising as her rage grew, "Get out!" she yowled angrily.
Daypaw shrank away from the TwilightClan leader's wrath. She'd never seen the gentle gray she-cat so angry. Without a second thought, she turned and forced Darkpaw out of the den with her. Once outside, she heaved a big sigh.
"I think you over-did it a little, Dakrpaw." She mewed.
((Just as a reference, Orangepelt and Redfang are the fox kits Leafpaw took in, in the previous guild.))

((I remember them!))
Stormflight jumped. She looked over at Pebblestar's den and padded to her, she padding outside. She saw her angrily shuffling Darkpaw out of her den. " What happened?" she whispered, sitting down next to Pebblestar.

((Okay. Wow. Naomi, your post is convincing. I'm scared right now. blaugh ))
Darkpaw looked to Daypaw. "Mhmm. Now I think I'll have to find a way away from her." He turned to Stormflight. "I'm not even that sure why she's so angry about it. I only said a couple of things." He mewed. His fur was still fluffed out from surprise, and he had to take a couple of breaths to calm himself down.
Shadowfrost woke up from his sleep, and, remembering Littlestrike and his dream, he raced towards the medicine cat den. "Rosepetal!" He yowled.

"Nothing, I was just preventing an earless cat." Pebblestar growled. She brushed past her deputy and the two apprentices, muttering as she went, "I'm going out to hunt, and with any luck, I'll get mauled by a pack of ravens. You'll make a much better leader, Stormstar."
Rosepetal nearly jumped as she heard Shadowfrost yowl her name, and she waited for him to come into her den.

((I read the post three or four times. The contrast between Rosepetal and Pebblestar's moods...wow.))
Darkpaw shrugged to Daypaw and shook his head. He faced her, his amber eyes looking into hers. "I'm going hunting. Don't tell anyone where I've been." He mewed.
Shadowfrost ran into the den, skidding to a halt right before he crashed into the herbs. "I had a dream. Littlestrike came to me. He said that we should work together to try to solve Darkpaw's problem so we know what to do if some other cat has the same problem." He panted.

"Darkpaw, please..." Daypaw began, but he had already gone. Sadly she sat down and waited for his return.
"And how in StarClan's name do you suggest we go about that?" Rosepetal demanded, still trying to get over her shock.

Stormflight scowled. How could Pebblestar be so mousebrained, she is an excellent leader! "Ravens travel in flocks," she mewed evenly after her leader.
Stormflight looked over at Daypaw, rolling her eyes. "Battle training or hunting?" she asked briskly, trying to think of something productive to do around camp.

Darkpaw flicked his tail to show that he had heard Daypaw, but continued padding away. I'll show Pebblestar! I'll show her! He thought to himself, as he looked around for somewhere safe to rest. Finding a hollow tree, he padded in and fell asleep, thinking of what Daypaw would think if he would stay for good.
Shadowfrost shrugged. "I'm not sure. I think we could just try, see what herbs could be good for it. You're the medicine cat." He pointed out.

"Battle training," Daypaw mewed.
"I-I don't know, I mean, I know Aspen bark and spider webs stops bleeding, but I don't know of any herbs that do." Rosepetal mewed unsteadily.
Pebblestar just kept walking through the forest, she didn't really feel like hunting, but she didn't want to be around anyone now.
She perched herself on a rock, ignoring her surroundings and closing her eyes. Pebblestar began to think about her life, and wondered where she had gone wrong. However something predded at her side, and her eyes flew wide open. Before she had a single chance to find out what had hit her, she was blind-sided and forced to the ground.
Bones could be heard snapping, and she let out a pained yowl before everything went black.

Shadowfrost shrugged. "Why don't we go out for a walk, to look for some herbs or something." He mewed.

((Oh no....... Is she dead? oh, when's Orangepaw going to start with Daypaw? And should I find Pebblestar? Or no....))
Stormflight nodded. "Okay then, we will do battle training!" she mewed cheerfully, padding out of camp, twitching her tail as a signal for Daypaw to follow.
When the two got far out enough from camp, she smiled. "Okay, Daypaw. This'll be our first session," she mewed. She looked thoughtfully into the distance. She looked back at Daypaw. "First, I'll teach you a basic move. How to stun a cat with your paw."
Stormflight padded to her apprentice and demonstrated, quickly knocking Daypaw down. "When you try this," she mewed, "You should keep your paw stiff, but your leg not as stiff."

((Yeah, Pebblestar's kind of bleeding out lives as we speak, so it doesn't really matter who finds her. and yeah, Orangepaw's coming, I promise!))
"Okay," Rosepetal meowed. She followed Shadowfrost out of camp, and they began to look around. A familiar scent caught her attention and she leisurely looked to find Pebblestar lying in a pool of blood. "Pebblestar!" she wailed, shooting forward. The blood stuck to her paws, and she felt as though she were trudging through mounds of tree sap to get to her leader.
"Pebblestar!" she wailed again. Rosepetal searched frantically for any puncture wounds, but there weren't any. It was like she was bleeding from the inside out!
Daypaw nodded, and attempted to do the same as her mentor.
"Surprise!" Orangepaw yowled, pouncing on Stormflight.

"I don't know what to do!" Rosepetal wailed. "There isn't a puncture wound. She's bleeding out all her life from the inside!"
