Rai sighed and turned around. "I'm fine, just a nightmare." He leaned forward and rested his head on Eric's shoulder. " I'm used to having them." He wrapped his arms the bigger mans shoulders and embedded his fingers in the long black hair.

Rai chuckled, "They're usually worse. I don't mind it, though. I deserve it." He kept his head buried in the other mans' shoulder.

Rai sighed, "Don't say that. I didn't mean it like that...I..I just miss them, you understand?" He rubbed a small circle in Erics' back. "I don't want you to feel guilty over this. Let it be my burden, alright?"

"No" Eric pulled back from Rai and looked into his eyes. "The only one to blame is me. It is my fault so I am the one alone to carry the burden. I know it doesn't make things better but you don't need to blame yourself or have the weight of what happened on your shoulders."

Rai sighed. "Eric, I have something to show you, and then perhaps you'll understand what I mean," he walked towards the bed and sat down on the edge, but only after grabbing his wand. He pointed his wand at his forearm and muttered a spell under his breath. A green light flashed around his arm and the Dark Mark appeared. "You see? Even though you had controlled me, it wasn't the first time something like that had happened...I can't get rid of it...I don't want to."

Rai looked up, a bit shocked, "Do I enjoy the torment? No, of course not. It's merely a reminder, Eric," he furrowed his eyebrows, "And what other side? I'm not playing you. I..It's just hard to explain. It reminds me of her...we met through there," he stood up and wrapped his arms around Erics neck, hiding his face in his lovers neck, "I'm not playing you. I swear. I...I thought that it would explain some things. I didn't want you to feel so guilty...That's all. I'm not a Death Eater anymore, Eric." He gave a small kiss to the side of Erics neck.

Eric lightly wrapped his arms around Rai's waist. "I'm sorry. But the guilty in regards to your family are mine alone."

Eric buried his face in Rai's hair and placed a kiss on the top of his head. "There will always be the tension between us"
