Stopping at the bottem of the ladder, Higeshi looked up and sighed a little.

"Well Lea, you have one of two choices." he said looking behind him at the rapidly growing mass of smaller demons. He put her down infront of him and looked up at the ladder again.

"You either climb the ladder or..." He said as he nodded back over his shoulder towards the demons. "We carry on and you can try and get back to what you were going to do."

He took hold of the ladder and started to climb. Stopping on the third tread he looked down.

"Oh and what weapon did you say you had to kill them with? cos you'll need alot of ammo for it." Turning back to the ladder he carried of. He did feel mean for pushing Lea to do something against her will, but he knew the out come if he didn't. He'd lost people he had know before like this. Dear friends and colleagues. He wanted no more death around him and he wanted to have some friends that were alive and shared his interest in stopping the demons. Somehow.

val posted behind a boulder at the base of the ladder, and was fireing rounds into the heart of the growing crowd.

Climbing up the ladder rapidly so the others could get up it unhindered by him. As he reached the top he stood and turned around on the ledge. looking out over the horrizon at the ever growing mass of smaller demons. Some of wich had decided to split off from the main group and head for Higeshi, Lea, Elliotte and Valnier.

"Um. Hurry up! We have incoming! Get your arses up here!" He shouted down as he romoved one of the grenades from his bag and waved it over the edge so the others knew what he was going to do.

"Only two left. They better hurry. I'm not wasting these." He said to himself.

Elliotte stopped as she looked up at Higeshi, then looked around, her eyes widend as she saw the group runnin towards them. "Uh oh" she said then started to climb abit quicker up the ladder, but after seeing Lea nearly fall she was carful.

After reaching the top she climbed over the edge and picked herself up, then turned around see what was going on. "Oh my god." She said to herself as she saw the demons running in and out the colony like they had lived there for months. "It's horrible isn't it, I hope they are stopped soon, wether it be us or somone else." She said to Higeshi as she made her way into the cave were Lea was.

"O...k..." higeshi said slowly as he staired at the cloud of dust rising from where the colony used to be. Putting the grenade back in his bag he walked into the cave.

"Um... I guess the first thing is to check supplies that we have. Make sure we have enough previssions and then head out and move quickly."

Higeshi lent against the wall of the cave just inside the enterance, so he could keep an eye on the outside.

"I have some food. Mainly rations. And whatever ammo i had and knives and sharpener."

Peering out the enterance to the cave he saw that the dust had almost finished settling and the remaining demons and the large demon we're moving on, but away from them. Which was good.

"Well it looks like we can relax for a while now. But we are now in the open really. We have to keep our wits about us."

Elliotte was sat a little away from the other in her own little world, not really listening to there conversation. Just thinking about how things have changed over the last few year and how scary thinga had got. 'I hope things get better.' she thought to herself.

Startled a little by Lea's outburst, he jumped a little. Looking at her in surprise he then looked at his shoulder.

"Sorry. My bad. But don't worry about it. It'll stop eventually." He said with a slight smile. "We have to get going. Take what M.R.E.'s we can carry and water as well. Then we'll move out."

He turned to face Valnier. ignoring Lea as she took medical supplies out of her bag. He knew he should get it sorted but it wasn't that bad yet.

"You say there's an old military base on the other side of the mountains. Can you lead the way there?"
