OOC:
Nah, Sexeya's a very "live and let live" kinda girl. She'sa lover, less of a fighter. She'd prolly just wanna nibble on him, holy men must taste good~ lol

Ontaros bobs his head and smiles "As you wish Silver, though I get the feeling it'll be hard not to know that I'm up there if you have any form or fashion of hearing or sight." He laughs a little before letting her return to her soothsaying.

Cinder shrugs Honestly from what I can tell, Lady Silverfang is really the only female I've been intruduced to, but I must tell you that there are a good deal of unfamiliar faces up here right now, Silver's pack aside. He looks over the group and then back to Dragonbait. How's your stay been thus far? I'd assume that being tossed into a wolf pack unexpectedly has been a little less than pleasant but they aren't regulars by any means.

OOC: No biting, no nibbling, no snacking. The name's Dragonbait, not Demonbait. Though it would be funny for a succubus to get turned down by every guy up here ... twisted

*Dragonbait tilts his head slightly.* Let's see. I've been confused by moogles, kicked in the head by a centaur, greeted by a mage who seems to think the laws of physics are equivalent to jaywalking restrictions, greeted also by an alpha female who apparently mistook me for one of her pack, involved in an argument with one of those animated quills in the main hall ... and spoken with you. Thus far, you and Lady SilverFang seem to be the sanest ones up here, and now you tell me that she's not a "regular".

Cinder shakes his head Oh no no, that's not what I meant, I was referring to her pack, Silverfang is up here pretty often actually but she doesn't stay up here like the rest do because of her obligations to her pack. He looks over to Silverfang I personally think that if it wasn't for her up here Ontaros might be a little crazier than he is now. He laughs a little. She appears to be something of a voice of reason I guess you could say.

*For no reason whatsoever (yeah, right), Dragonbait considers the group's he's most recently left, and his reasons for so doing. As before, he finds them lacking ... and, as before, he sees little options. The path chosen by these two is the most difficult, by far, and they probably don't even realize that they've made any choice whatsoever.* Then certainly, I wish them both the best ... mostly because I suspect they're going to need it.

*He wonders absently how long it will take those two to realize their situation ... of course, that's under the assumption that he himself reads things aright. The mage, in particular, is hard to discern.* So, who else is up here of whom I should be informed?

OOC: Which is to say ... are we three it?

Cinder looks out over the group once again and thinks a moment before answering Well from what I see there are a couple new faces, but I've not been introduced to them, nor do I know if they are up here with any purpose or if they've just come to join the festivities to be truthful.

OOC: Well we have our wereboar friend, tiberius, niana the other demon (tart) lavandris the gentleman vampire with an gift for music and then we have a Dante and his 'friend'(rp'd by dante) actually up here IC but OOC they havent posted in a bit, three of them we know IRL and simply have to tell them POST, dante used to be a regular in the past incarnations of my guild but i havent heard much from him in some time.

OOC: My apologies to all ... er, both of you, but my hand was injured (broken finger, again) and this is the first time in over a week I've been able to use anything but my thumb and pinky. Since typing anything more than once sentence requires either both hands or a lot more dexterity than God gave me, I've been not posting anything. And right now, I've errands to run, so I'm not posting now either. But tomorrow (Wednesday), I'll be back in action.

OOC: The 'Bait is back. *Listens to the crickets chirp.* Ooo-kay; yeah, been gone too long.

Okay, for those who hadn't gotten the details yet, here's what happened. I was sparring in class one night (this being jujutsu, this time), and I was required to wear pads. Unfortunately, I had to borrow pads from a guy about a foot taller than myself, and he had Century pads (that is, hard and inflexible). So, I couldn't close my fist properly. Then I blocked a guy's kick.

---O---

The lines represent finger bones, and the O is the little sack of fluid in between. Now, when you jam a joint, normally that sack will burst and the fluid will spill out and pad your joint so you can't move your finger worth squat.

---()---

Like that. That's normally; I never do things normally. In my case, not only did that sack burst, but the fingerbones ground against each other hard enough for one of them to fracture at the end.

---)(/--

Like that. Now, since the fluid sack had burst, we couldn't tell my finger was actually broken. Which means it healed crooked. My finger's going to be slightly deformed for ... probably the rest of my life.

At any rate, I spent a week with my hand taped up, then another week with it taped up because it looks scary (and still hurts at times). Friday, I'm supposed to see the doc one last time, and I ain't tapin' my hand again until another finger gets broken (probably about 3-5 years from now). Obviously, I haven't been able to type (did I mention this was my right hand?) anything more than my name and password and a few very short messages.

For those inconvenienced by my pain, I do apologize; trust me, I'd have preferred to avoid this.

Now, I'm going to again try to review all that I've missed in three guilds over the last few weeks and see what I can do to get caught up. I'm thinking so far that my best bet is to just shrug and say "time passed". You folks chime in if you feel differently, or if there's something what requires my attention.

OOC: Yeah, so I'ma just say for everyone's sake that the festivities are done and over with since they've been going on for a few months to say the least... *insert magic show here for the were's that Ont wanted to do and so forth and now we're starting up with a fresh new day to do what ever we want with, no one may want to start off with the first post but i keep an eye on this place and with ont's way of knowing things i can have him pop up where ever and i'll RP with you, just post first and we'll take it from there.

>>Softly humming the same tune Ontaros found her singing, the demonic happily exited the castle with her less then willing companion<<

Hoist the sails ye maties,
And raise your voices high.
I come from a land of tumbling waves,
Where I'll stay 'till the day I shall die.

Hoist the sails ye maties,
The ocean is wild and free.
So swab out the decks,
And before the sunsets
You'll be on your way again!

>>the female warmly sang, heading for the treeline. She didn't use the almost siren voice she had pulled out on the werewolf party, but it still had a beautiful tone. Obvious years of practice with control. She loved to sing almost as much as she loved to eat<< Do you know the song Dragonbait?
PostPosted: Mon Sep 14, 2009 6:11 am

*The closer they get to the treeline, the more skeptical Dragonbait looks. It's not that he's unwilling to be there; he did agree to this, and he'll not withdraw that. And it's not that Niana's company is unwelcome; far from it. On the other hand, the singing -- though pleasant, definitely pleasant -- isn't really a song he can enjoy, although he can definitely appreciate the vocal skills of the singer. And though the area isn't abandoned, it's far from crowded; the very edge of the treeline is secluded enough for him right now. He quickly sets down the picnic basket and flips it open.*

It's not a tune I recognize, no ... but I haven't spent much time with sailors. I know the work of the Bahaman Bard, but that's more or less it.

*Rather than a blanket, he finds an over-large towel within, and uses that to spread out their meal.* Don't suppose you know any of his tunes, do you? Never mind, never mind ... if you wish to sing, then sing what you wish. I shall be content simply to listen.

Can't say I do. >>The female stopped beside him, though she had honestly wanted to go in further so they'd be surrounded by trees. She still ended up sitting without complaint. But...he didn't know any sailor songs? Oh, what song did she know that a holy man would? Niana began taking out the food as she expanded her throat. This was a tune very different then the bouncy sailor song<<

Requiem aeternam,
dona eis domine:
et lux perpetua luceat,
...luceat...luceat eis,
luceat eis.

>>A latin song about death. Centuries old. The female fairly beamed at the male<< How about that one? It has God in it!
