Sadie was resting inside the house on the couch, completely oblivious to what had happened on the trail. Shivana resting beside her. After a taking her usual nap like she would at home, she awoke and yawned, stretching her arms out. Shivana lifted her head and then gave Sadie a lick on the face. "Hey girl...wanna go for a walk on the trail...." She said as Shivana barked softly, wagging her stubbed tail happily. Smiling as she rose from the couch, Sadie went and walked outside, her hair slightly messed up, but she didn't want to worry about that. Immediately she grabbed Shivana's leash and clipped it on her, since Shiva tended to have the habit of taking off on walks on trails, chasing other animals.

Kody was riding Spot down a different trail, Dingo following right beside him. His Ipod was on and playing 'Eternal' by Evanescence. Suddenly he looked to his right to see a fox, trotting along in the underbrush, just barely able to see it, he looked at Dingo, hoping he hadn't spotted the animal. Unfortunately he did and began to chase after it. "Aw hey Dingo! Get back here now boy!!! DINGO!!!" Kody yelled at the Golden, hoping to grab his attention, but the dog didn't listen and continued to chase after the fox, soon letting out a yelp as he snagged himself in a bear trap. Kody heard the dog and gasped, dismounting off of Spot and rushing over to Dingo. "Omg.....Dingo.....!!" He said in a panic while petting the whining and yelping dog. "It's ok.....it'll be ok just relax boy...." Kody said shakily to the dog as he began to try and open the teeth of the trap, it proved to be alot harder than he thought.

Whitney was listening to her music when she heard the familiar yelp of Dingo. Frisk growled softly, before jumping off the bed and rushing downstairs, scratching at the door. Whitney soon followed after him and then ran out, hoping to find Kody close by, but the yelps seemed to be quite distant. "Can you pick up a trail Frisk.....smell for Spot, Dingo or Kody....." She said while watching the dog as he began to sniff the ground before taking off and barking, Whitney followed after.

Majestad and Vivian finally made it back to the stable along with Alex, Fairy, Amy and Pancake, Sadie walking along beside Vivian, panting form the long walk. Vivan tiredly led her stallion into the stable and unclipped the leadrope from both sides of his halter, leading him into his stall next to Pancake's. "There you go, love, get some good rest. You were so brave today, I owe my life to you, boy.." She said, hugging him gently. She gave him fresh hay and water with a painkilling supplement dissloved in his water, then closed his stall door to let him sleep. She went outside with Amy and Alex.

Majestad nuzzled Vivian before she closed the door, then sighed. He took a long drink of water to free his parched throat and then lay down with a groan. he lay his head down in the soft new hay and closed his eyes, utterly wiped out.

Nic noticed that his horses were out of water so he got their buckets and went to the hose and filled the two buckets up. Then he haulled them back and clipped them to the stalls. Lex stood up and got Tech and Star some hay.

Tom pulled on the reins with one hand, sending Ghost to do a sliding stop. He tossed his head and tossed his reins around wanting to gallop, but stood in his place. Tom chuckled lightly as he watched Shadow. He sighed and check his watch. The sun was setting down quickly in the west, lightning the open meadows in front of them sparkle. It's red orange pink and shady purple light sparkled the sky, beautifully. Tom sighed, and looked at the open area to them self. "Up for a gallop across the meadow before heading back?" Tom asked as he patted Ghost, starting foaming neck. Ghost snorted lightly swishing his tail softly.

Back at the stables a young girl around the age of six yrs. old came skipping out of the huge house, sending the screen door to snap close. Her shoulder brown stright her swung from side to side as she skipped across the yard. Seeing her bigger sister sitting on the fence watching her mother giving a lesson the a 10 year old girl riding on a bay pony galopping around half of the ring, She skipped over to Amy. "Amy, Amy!!" She called out, her huge smile lighting her face up. Amy turned around at the call of her name and grinned seeing her little sister skip over to here. "Hi, Amber. What's up?" Amy said hugging her little sister smileing. "Geuss what? Mom's letting me go on the round up with Sparki!" Amber exclained. "Wow, that's great Amber!" Amy said smiling. Amber smiled. Obivuly the young girl was thrilled. "Amber this is my friend, Viv." Amy said looking over to Viv who was sitting right next to her. "Hi, Viv." Amber said giving a little wave. She saw Alex smiling at her and gave him a great big hug. "Hi Alex!" She said, letting go of the hug. "Hi, Amber. You are excitied aren't you?" Alex said grining. Amber smiled even harder making it look like her smile would brake her face. "Yep! Exuse me but I want to go tell Casey the news to!" She said starting to run into the stable. Amy and Alex waved good-bye before laughing.

Tom laughed. "Oh yeah? Who you calling an old man!" He said kicking his heels gentlely into Ghost's flank sending him springing into a fast gallop. By the time they got over to Will and Shadow, Tom chuckled lightly. "You have luck girl." He said patting Ghost's flank, who bobbed his head up aggreeing. "Other wise me and my old horse would have beat you." He said grinning.

"That's right. We could beat you guys any day" Ghost snorted to Shadow. He nickered softly as he was laughting moving into a slow cooling walk back to the stables.

Amber walked slowly and camly into the stable. She first walked over to the feed room, were Siam was laying. She took the scooper and a blue bucket and a little bit of it with oats. Seeing Siam, Amber jumped back. "You scared me, kitty." Amber said. "You must be new huh? Well I'm sure you'll like Ginger Amy's cat. She's so friendly." Amber said petting Siam lightly on the head. Giving it one last stroke, Amber took her bucket and walked back outside, heading towards the pasture, were some horses grazed. Ginger was licking her paws over by Pancake's stall watching the mare. Seeing Siam, she meowed softly greeting him.

Tom smiled and shook his head before dismounting Ghost and leading him into the stables following Will. He grabbed Ghost's red halter from his stall and slid the halter over his neck, took out the bit, hung it over his other shoulder and slid the halter over the gelding's head tieing him to the crossties. He washed Ghost's bit and put it away before untacking the rest of the big dapple tack.

Ghost whinnied back to Shadow. "Sounds like a bet huh? I might be old but i've been a world wide champion with Tom riding me. So you better watch out!" Ghost grinned pawing the ground floor.

Ginger nodded. "Sorry Siam. So am I." Ginger meowed back. Amber opened the pasture gate and walked inside it, closeing the gate behind her and walking slowly over to Sparki shaking the oats in the bucket. Sparki lifted his head up from grazing, his ears pricked foreward. He took a step forewards and walked his way over to Amber, eatting the oats out of the bucket and letting Amber slide his halter on and clip his lead rope on. Once the bucket was finished, Amber took hold of the lead rope and started to lead Sparki towards the pasture gate, opening it and leading the warmblood into the stable.

Night was slowly approaced, a full moon liting the whole sky around it, little clouds in the sky. Stars slowly poked it's way threw, it sparkling the night, the sunset barely seened. Tom started to pick Ghost's hooves, making sure their was no dirt or rocks, he layed it back down, working his way to finish the hooves. Once that was done he used the curry comb, then the hard brush, slowly letting the dapple's coat shine. He used the soft brush, Ghost's favorite brush, and did an extra round on his legs and coat so it would look beautiful. He combed out all the tangles from the mane and tail. Taking a step back, Tom sighed proud of his work and led Ghost into his stall, stroking the gelding a couple of times, and feeding him slice of apple, before sliding his halter off with his lead rope and walking out of his stall. Making sure the door was locked he hanged the halter under Ghost's gold letter named tag, and put his grooming tools away. Tom walked outside, looking back into the stable seeing Amber putting Sparki away after a thoughly groom. Amber walked out of his stall and over to her dad giving him a big hug. They waited for Will, before heading towards the house, Tom's arm around his daughter's shoulder. They had already ate supper hours ago, and Kalya would just make a little soup for the ones who havn't ate.

Amy smiled and waved good-bye to Alex, Vivian, Casey, Lex, Nic, Witney, Kodiak, Sadie and the rest as their parents came to pick them up. Remiding them not to forget about asking their parents to go on the cattle drive, she waved one last time, and watched the cars drive off. Untill they where out of Amy's sight, Amy walked towards her house, Spike at her heels. Ginger liked to sleep in Pancake's stall. The tabby climbed her way slowly into Pancake's stall to were the mare hung her head over the stall door sleeping. Ginger curled up in the corner and drifted off to asleep.
