Blind. I can imagine what things look like, but I couldn't imagine life without music, hearing my kittens meow, or Sapphy say good morning. Or listening to my dad pick on my mom, thats hilarious.

WOuld you rather get a highly contagious disease that last a year, and you have to live in isolation, not interacting with anyone or a disease that you have to live with for the rest of your life, but is maintainable.

I'm not sure. In the future I couldn't screw up my present, but there could be some freaky airborne pathogen that would kill me. If I went back in time, I might screw things up a la Back to the Future, and create a paradox, or the whole thing could turn out to be a predestination paradox like in Red VS Blue when Church goes back, or even a grandfather paradox. Plus I'd really like to go back to the rat pack era. xd
