I got a call from my father. They did another scan in preparation for my grandmother's hysterectomy and there are two other masses in her abdomen and one on her ovary... After the surgery she is going to be on chemo.

They managed to get it all out with operation and luckily he didn't need chemo, though they had to take out the entire bladder. Those kind of operations are always difficult and dangerous to very old people (my grandfather is almost 90). gaia_angelright

Sammirah I'm trying to make a Christmas-y avi, but it's not done yet. Any suggestions? gaia_nitemareleft Oh, the avy is really cute! Maybe you need a cup of hot chocolate in your hands? It would fit well with the fireplace and so on. Perhaps this? A festive eggnog or this a jolly hot cocoa. whee gaia_angelright

Well, I have a happy announcement.
Today my boyfriend and I decided we want to get married. We basically proposed to each other. whee We might even do a courtroom wedding before I fly home in two weeks, if it will help his immigration process.
We're not telling a whole lot of people just yet, but I wanted to share it with you guys. heart

My granddads surgery went well, but because they had to remove the entire bladder it took a lot of time for him to recover from the surgery. It takes double or triple the time to heal wounds if you are ninety than if you would be in your twenties. One important thing is the vitamins. My granddad started to recover much better after my grandmother started to give him a vitamin solution they have for kids in here. For some reason they didn't want to give that to him in the hospital so my grandmother "smuggled" it in the hospital and gave a spoon full of it to him when she visited. whee But, in a week or so after she started to do that, my grandfather was well enough to go home. Before that he was bit in the borderline if he's going to recover at all. @Sammirah: Congratulations! emotion_bigheart gaia_angelright

Im sorry about all that. Its too bad that the medical association discredited Dr. Gerson. His form of therapy cured many people of their cancer and other diseases and disorders through whole organic foods by juicing them and other means.
