A thought just occured to me...well no not really thats a lie, ive had this on my mind everytime i come into here. Can someone please tell me why character background stories have become stickys? is there really a point to it? i wouldnt exactly say it contributes to anyone in any helpful way and does anyone besides the poster and their "lover" actually read those things? and in what way does it help the guild enough for it to become a sticky? anyway, i dont know...its sort of an abuse of mod power in my opinion but then again its not like its really inconveniancing anyone its just weird seeing it as a sticky for no reason at all.

I assume your reffering to the 'tale of sophos bardos' sticky. That thread is actually relevant to a project of both Roan's and Bard's. Theres also a score of people that find interest in reading it, I know I do. Its also there, to keep the people interested up to date on the project works.
This is also a guild that welcomes the writers among us, and encorouges them to write more, and offers a place for people to give, and recieve friendly opinions. Its much like the member artwork thread. Exactly, in fact, save for the format of the submissions.
So far, no one has really 'abused' the mod status, other then for silly humour, like in the rules. I personally think that the crew is doing a dandy job.

I had that same problem too, but I do see that we all should allow people to express themselves. I would like to see the book though.

Thank you guys.
Ok, heres how it works
1. We like writers
2. I know for a fact not just bard and myself have read that project
3. Now its finished, after a few months, it will come down to make way for something else
4. Its a collaborative project and its not just bard's story that has recieved this treatment
5. Its easier to find and read the various worked on stories if they are stickied
6. Sticky's dont have to be to do with the RUNNING of the guild. They are instead significant threads and after the effort I know I have put in, and the MASSIVE effort Elfy has put into HER story, I think they deserve a little recognition
7. I dont see how someone who rarely comes on here and even when he does doesnt really rp can complain about how the guild is run.

speaking of rolplayless charicters, Roany, where is my little Sadia suppose to go to after you took her out of the forest?
And for Will, ya, you should really have less of a life and come roleplay, it's not that deadly to your health, I can assure you.
*has tried having a life in the past week and it seemes to only like to be annoying so far...*
