It is difficult for me to believe I will be a college sophomore next semester. For some reason I never imagined myself actually doing any of the things I spoke of before graduation. o.O;

My college does this service learning bit. I want to apply for it so that I can get paid by my college to volunteer at the Native Education and Cultural Center in my hometown. It would prove to be a most enriching experience. I'd learn about the roots my family cannot teach me, be able to save money for next semester's bill, and be near my family all summer.
If not that I'll try another job. I spent a day goin' around town searching out suitable applications. If nothing is forthcoming, I'll babysit, pick up odd jobs, and pinch pennies like never before.
