Ari gasped as she clutched Musica's arm. It was working! Nikolaus' features were becoming less pronounced, and Musica's were returning. Across from her, Aphrodite was chanting faster, and pulling Nikolaus harder. In response, Ari pulled on Musica harder willing him to her with every fiber in her body that she had to give him.
It was then that a sharp crack! could be heard, and a flash of light could be seen. Ari and Aphrodite stumbled away from each other with a yelp. Ari had Musica in her arms, and tumbled backwards, their combined weight making it impossible to regain her footing. As she fell, she cracked her head on her nightstand. Ouch. Her arms slackened in shock momentarily, but she quickly sat up.
Ari had already forgotten her promise not to touch him. She cradled his upper body in her arms, and was memorizing his face. He was handsome, she decided, as well as kind. How could she have done this to him? What if he hated her and never wanted to speak to her again? She couldn't bear the thought, for some reason. She brushed his hair out of his eyes, with her own betraying her inner turmoil... yet she was seeing!
"Öffne deine Augen, mein Schatz," she whispered.

Aphrodite stumbled backwards with the part that was Nikolaus. The creature was swearing a Death-Oath to herself and Ari... but now, Aphrodite payed him no heed. "Begone!" she hissed, and tossed the rapidly disintegrating thing away from her. With a final puff, it completely dissappeared. Aphrodite sucked in a breath. She had a feeling it was not the end of Nikolaus.
She looked to Ari, who was leaning over Musica. She wished the young mortal the best... but she would not interfere. She had made her choice, and if Musica rejected her for it, so be it. Plus, she'd been nice enough for one day. She sent a wave of panic Evermore's way via their connection, just to let her know she ought to get her fanny back here. No doubt that the Headmistress would soon be involved, and it would be better if she were present than try to cover up her mysterious absence.
By the end of the night, Ari was so going to owe her two favors!

Musica was laying on the ground in Ari's arms very peacefully in a deep sleep. He heard the words of his native tongue and in his confused state thought of his mother, whom he felt a great wash of sadness and love. "Mutter?" Was the only words he whispered out as his eyes opened his eyes to look up and not see the face of his mother, but a face he didn't quite yet recognized. His body was on back up of emotions, letting him feel all the ones he hadn't felt in 77 years. There was sadness, fear, love, and passion all mixed in together with his confusion. He began backing up and standing up to back away from Ari as he was thinking and racking his brain for recognition. That was when at the sight of her face he was struck with heart wrenching love and compassion for her. He started to smile and walk over to her, his affection gleaming in his eyes. "Fräulein Ari, wie könnte ich Sie vergessen?" His hand was held out to grip hers and hoist her up. Nikolaus may have been gone, but many of his features remained in what really was how his body was born to look. He was still 6'5 now, his hair came to his shoulders, and his muscles were still fairly large. His eyes had lost their glow and his aura was only a calm and invisible mist, just like the old Musica had been except not so invisible.

Nikolaus on the other hand, was not taking it quite so well as his other half. While everyone probably thought he was dead and gone as a spirit he was not. His invisible specter form went out the window and to the outside world, where he was protected by the light. The only thing is he had to be in hiding at night, since it would wash his soul away forever. He floated over to a tree and try to mimic sitting but couldn't succeed too well. Nikolaus was here to watch the outside, to find a suitable host for him to completely take over. It would be his body and his alone, one to take his revenge in and continue on his way for the rest of eternity. His greedy eyes caught something walking beneath him, and he remained still. Looking down he saw a strong young man and pretty young girl with him. His eyes watched the young man, thinking he'd found what he wanted. He couldn't be sure though so he'd give watching a day or two, then he'd make his move. What he didn't know was that the kids walking underneath him could be considered his, but they were born technically when Musica was in control. They were half brother and sister, both children to Musica. Neither the father nor the kids quite new it yet though.

Brother and sister were walking side by side up to Bai Ching. They'd heard about it being only a girl school and were quite disappointed, but still it must be done. Tyler would do what he could to find their father at this school, and Sam would use being a student to help them out. They saw the large gates and became slightly intimidated, but pressed on nonetheless. It was getting late and they didn't want to be outside alone. "Come on Sammy! I'll race ya!" Tyler began sprinting off towards the door, leaving his sister somewhat in the dust. She attempted to catch up, but it was futile.
Sam hadn't known her half brother but about a year now, yet still they had grown to be extremely close. She sighed and and walked to the door where Tyler was patiently waiting for her to catch up. "Show off." Was all she said as she rolled her eyes and went inside the extremely large school. Staying close they walked in to see a little coffee stand closing up. It had bee so long since she's had the drink, and because of their heritage they both loved the stuff. Quickly walking over to the stand Sam spoke up first. "Hello? Is this shop still open?" She asked the girl at the stand, whom looked very irritated to see customers still here.

Luli looked up with a slight groan to see people were still here! "Don't these people ever sleep?" She then got out the money pouch and looked up with a fake smile. "I suppose we are. What can I get you? We're almost out of tea, so I can promise you the full variety." She said in a strained voice, ready to get some sleep. Luli got in a quick glance over at her brother and it brought a smile to her lips. He looked so happy despite being scared at the same time.
Bo couldn't believe what he was hearing. Did a girl really like him? But he was so shy and fearful, how could a girl think of him like that? His eyes moved up to meet hers with wide eyed hope. "Y-you really mean that? You don't think I'm just a klutz with words and scared of my own shadow?" He stuttered as he spoke, still slightly afraid she'd change her mind about him from those two jumbled sentences.

Ari's heart nearly stopped as he called her 'mother'. "No... Musica, I'm not--" she began, but was cut short. He began to rapidly back away from her, apparently not able to recognize her. She gave him his space, and hoped he remembered. He then slowly approached her, compassion and love shining in his eyes. He held out his hand, and Ari clasped it and hoisted herself up.
She ducked into his arms, and hugged him for all she was worth. "I;m sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." she chanted softly, over and over. She looked up at him, his love and compassion reflected in her own eyes.

Musicawas smiling as he looked down into her eyes. His right arm was held behind her back keeping her close to him. His left hand reached up to her arm and he ran his fingers across her arm. "Now what are you so sorry about? I don't recall you doing anything to me." He spoke as his rad leaned down to peck her on the forehead. Musica was so happy now, couldn't she see that? He was free now, his other half gone from his body forever. He was not destroyed, he knew that. Didn't mean he still couldn't be happy now.

(We have to drive home from vacation now, so I'll be on the road... it's going to take at least 9-10 hours! -sob- So I won't be on until 7-8 pm ish tonight Cali time, which is about 9-10 your time c: TO THE CAR.... [/sob])
Ari looked up. "I... I ignored you, and I set Nikolaus free. If Aphrodite hadn't have shown up... I couldn't have beaten him. What if people died because of my mistake?" she said. "It's not so much what happened, but what could have happened. I'm stupid," she muttered with a sigh. "... but it was either you or Nik that gave me sight," she said, her eyes sparkling as she looked at him. "I don't think I deserve it though, considering what almost could have happened."

Cuwen Ever waited a few moments, letting her memory go back to that day, and she began to laugh, a true rich laugh. "Oh my gosh!... You thought I... hated you? Or severely disliked you?" She laughed even harder but tried to talk around her laughs. "You annoyed me, but... I thought... you were so... sexy! I liked you a lot! It's just that... your attitude sucked!" She fell into another lapse of giggles. Ares' eyebrows lifted and he shook his head, chuckling. "Mm, you had me fooled then, pepromene mou." Then, remembering something, he paused. "...Does that honestly sound so much like pepper to you?"

Aurora giggled at Bo, her hand moving to cover her mouth. He was just so... Even though she had only known him for a few minutes, he managed to make her smile and laugh. It was quite the accomplishment. "Truly, dear Bo. I do not lie often, and I would not lie about this."
Suddenly, there was a resounding DONG! as the clock in the tower struck eleven--curfew. Aurora blinked and leaned back from Bo, glancing to the wall, upon which hung a similar clock. She sighed lightly and then looked back to Bo. "I must return to my dorm," she said, regretfully. "It is curfew. When will you come again?" Her head tilted slightly to the side, much like a cat's.

Ever shook her head and wrapped her arms loosely around Ares' neck as she laughed softly a little more.
"Well, Ares, now that I know what it means, it sounds sweet. After all, Greek is not my second language."
She affectionately bumped her nose lightly against his and then moved her head to whisper in his ear.
"But yes, it still sounds a little like Pepper to me."

Ares clicked his tongue. "Then at least you're my Pepper," he said, voice low. He kissed her briefly. "Mm... how about that? Pepper."

{{Ever hasn't felt the panic Aphrodite gave her yet b/c that's a little bit in the future. Have to catch Ever and Ares up to the current time line. lol.}}
Ever gasped softly and pulled back just a little to look at Ares. "Really? Your own nickname for me?! Something no one else would understand but you and me and others would be confused as to why you were calling me it? Even Aphrodite? Something just for me?"
She grinned brightly and then used his shoulders as leverage so that she could jump and wrap her legs around his waist. Then, she wrapped her arms loosely around his neck again and gave a peck to his lips.
"I would love that!"
