"Come on people! Follow the emerald!" Yells Ratchet, after picking up Shadowheart and then dashes after the emerald. "Hope you can keep up!"

The emerald leads all of them to Angel Island deep in the mystic ruins. They are led to the Master Emerald Shrine.

Wasn't the emerald supposed to lead us to Eggman, and not the master crystal? wonders Ratchet.

Richard and the others looked around when they entered the cave and was pretty mystified "wow..." Richard said softly. Ali on the other hand continued to follow the emerald wondering why it took them to a cave until she saw some pillars that she realized that they were at a shrine "wow..." she thought
"ALI WHAT'RE YOU DOING?!" Amy called out to the husky till Richard placed his hand on her shoulder "don't forget she's the next guardian of this shrine" he said when he realized that it was the shrine Knuckles told him about

"You have finally arrived oh how happy I am to see you. The master emerald spoke and revealed a familar figure an orange Echidna from Knuckles tribe trapped within the master emerald.

Ali slowed to a stop when she saw teh echidna in front of her in the big emerald, she looked familiar but at the same time a little different till it came to her "you're...Tikal.." she said softly as she stared at the female in a bit of shock and thought of something "were you....the voice i heard before? when i wanted to calm Shine down when she was Shade?" she asked
"what's going on?" Amy asked as she looked at the top of the shrine only to see Ali's back "we'll know in time" Richard said

"You, echinda. You said you were going to lead us to Eggman! Not this little cave!" Ratchet says, annoyed. "Why did you take us here? We need to get this dragon some medical attention!"

Tikal nodded, "Yes it is me, I have been locked within here by your Dark Counterparts and Shine I was very rash for the way I treated you and now I greatly apologize I guess it was my dark side." Tikal said to them.
"All is forgiven." Shine said simply and smiled.

"I'm not sure if I caught your name but what you see before you is the previous guardian talking to the new guardian once it is her time" Richard said as he looked at the wolf then at Ali. Ali smiled as she looked at Shine then at Tikal "yes...all is forgiven...and i thank you very much for guiding me in that time" she said.

"And I shall guide you in this one as well, step forth into the emerald and you will encounter a new world the doctor will be there as well he is not himself anymore he has lost everything because of his experiment." Tikal said to Ali.

Ali was a little confused at first and looked back at her father who only nodded. She then took a deep breath and slowly made her way towards the emerald "here goes" she thought and entered the emerald
Amy watched as Ali went further into the shrine and saw a flash of light "what...was that?" she asked "we'll know in a while" Richard said as he kept his eyes on the shrine. Amy looked at Richard a little weird "why do you sound so all knowing all of a sudden?" she asked "I'm just accepting the fact that my daughter is getting closer to becoming a gaurdian is all" Richard replied as he looked at Amy out of the corner of his eye and smiled softly

Amy was a little nervous when the others went in and looked at Richard "shouldn't we follow?" she asked "I'm sure they'll be fine, and besides..." Richard started and pointed to Shadowdragon, Drake and the wolf "It wouldn't be right to leave these guys alone, and i bet they're already ticked off cause Shadowhearts getting even more worse for wear" he added. Amy looked at the three boys and sighed "your right" she said and stayed close to Richard

"hmm..in that note, guess we'd better drag those three with us" Richard said as he looked at the dragon, alligator, and wolf. Amy sighed "alright" she mumbled and went over to the alligator and dragged him by the collar "let's go" she said. Richard sweatdropped as he watched Amy head into the emerald with Drake and soon carried Shadowheart and the wolf and soon entered into the emerald as well
