"Is that...bad?" She wasn't sure she liked knowing there was another one on their plane, especially after meeting the other blue skinned female who had done such a number of Zykariel. Kaelin knew it was the woman's fault things had gone so sour for a while between the best friends. "Can't I stay in the tents with you?"
Tilting his head, he watched his father's competent fingers slide over the polished blade and gave him a grin. "I do believe you're right, Dad. But I'm almost certain there's a better blade around here somewhere. Shall we keep looking?"

Malik came back, with a plate of gooey, sugar and cinnamon laden, with extra cinnamon on top, sticky buns...and set them down by her, before taking a seat.
"How are you feeling?"

"Not really." After all, it was nice to have someone who wanted to beat you, meant they fought harder and didn't give less because they were scared. A real challenge. A blink at Kaelin though which then made for a blink at his brother and a considering look before he spotted someone in the crowd. "Sure, you can stay with me. Let's just drop off my brother." Leading them both over to Sevilin and his boys then, "Hey Sevilin, mind watching my brother till parents get here?"
"Unless this is the best of th best, then yes there has to be." Handing the blade back as well as flipping a few steel coins at the vendor. "Put that on hold for us, just in case." Moving into herding the younger boys off before Malikhai found them. "Sure, I'll take him. Pretty sure he'll have fun looking at pointy things too." Getting a nod from the boy as he left his brother and wandered off again with that girl. "Parents don't want you wandering, hm?"
"Apparently not...but as long as I have an adult with me, I can look and poke at all the shiny and pokey things that I want. That's what they said." Giving a grin and a wave to Kelligrin then before ruffling Kit's hair.
Piper gave a sniff at the air but for the moment continued to lay there with her arm over her eyes. "I hate that question, you always ask that question, I'm never going to hear the end of that question." Giving one of those little sighs of defeat though before answering again, "Rant aside...I'm fine." Or at least what she had come to call 'fine'.

Malik set the plate by her bed, and took a seat with a grin.
"Just like I'm never going to hear the end fo the question 'what are you plotting now?' you know that we have to make sure everything is fine with you when your pregnant. I brought you some nice cinnamony snacks."

"Yes I know, you're trying to placate me so that I'm in a good mood and thus am not fussy." Peeking out from under her arm she watched him. "And you are always plotting, but I'm not always pregnant all the time." Thank the gods for that but that was another matter entirely. "I'm waiting for you two to just lock me in a closet already."

"I am not always plotting. Just because event seem to work out in my favor doesn't always mean I had some underhanded plot and hook in something someplace to make it happen that way. I get lucky too sometimes."
a light smirk at her.
"And no, we aren't locking you in a closet, you know better. now have a stickybun, you snack per Zahara's orders."

"I didn't say that much. I only said that you are usually plotting, not the means of that plotting or the outcomes. You plot on your family in good ways even." Shaking her head and giving another one of those commonplace 'you win' sighs as she sat up, grabbing the plate and settling it on her lap. "You're both in for a world of unruly Piper when this is over."

Chuckling lightly and pressing a kiss to her forehead.
"So..how's the child doing? things going relatively alright despite the large drains?"

"You're going to have to do a lot more than that, D'vinn." But yes picking apart that sticky bun, ignoring mess made and the like because it was just that good. "She's doing fine, she's the one who benefits from this all, not me." Or she supposed as fine as she could be doing, all things considered. Little leech was indeed a fighter. "I'm just rented living space. Though if she doesn't make me stop craving weird things, we may need to have words."

"Hey, tree bark is rather harmless when it comes down to it." Shaking her head and indeed frowning at him as he moved away from her to avoid it. "You're supposed to stay still." Taking back to her food before shrugging lightly, "Oh...things like strawberries and lobster...which don't go together. And yesterday I wanted caramel on fish. It's like a weird seafood and sugar thing..."

That got a sticky finger shoved into his ear. Take that. "There is no way that I am tempting that combination. Because if it goes south on me it has to come back up and I can pretty much guarentee that it will taste worse on the way back up." Besides that, being sick was a very draining task in itself for her and she'd rather avoid it. "Starting the daughter spoiling a bit early, aren't you?" Not to mention...Piper still had her reservations on this whole matter.

Eww...rubbing his hear lightly trying to get the sticky substance out of it and not having much luck.
"It'd still be funny and you know it. I wonder if Dhairiss would eat that..sounds like something he'd give a try. and I'm not spoiling her. spoiling her would be making you eat all teh things she wants wether you like it or not, and I'm not gunna do that."

Piper gave one of those evil little laughs that she had picked up from somewhere as she watched him having to suffer sticky goo in his ear. "He probably would, just for the thrill of how awful it truly might taste." Oh yes, revenge was very sweet right now and she was still giving a little evil laugh as she licked the cinnamon goo from her fingers. "Well, it's good to know where you loyalty is rooted."
