  Death heard a ringing in his ears and glanced out a window. "Unfortunatly I have to go now." Death said as he took Shyam off his shoulders. "I will return as soon as I can."Death stood up from his stool and set Shyam on his stool before vanishing from the Tavern.

Leon entered the tavern covered head to toe in sweat "I'm back... Don't ask what happened" He said as he took a seat on the stool at the table "Can I have a drink?" He politely asked anyone who was present at the tavern "Last time I'm going for a walk outside alone" Leon said breathing heavily

Loreley chuckled. "Alright Laddie... what'll you have?" she asked. not all that bothered that Death simply vanished.
Shyam giggled to himself, flouncing to his blocks and starting to play.

"Something cheap that I'll be able to afford... I don't care if it'll kill me, I just need something to refresh me" He said while his mouth was already getting dry from the walk "Anything interesting happen while I was out?" Leon stretched as he spoke

She shook her head, pouring him some rum. "Nah, just Deathy coming for a visit." she said with a smiled, passing him his drink.

Kota slid a small pouch of money over toward Loreley and took the drink "Hmm... Judging by the name, I don't think I'm too keen to meet it... not yet anyway" He said with a laugh as he rose the glass to his lips to drink

Leon lowered the glass of rum "I wonder what life is like after death... That's if there is a life after death" He said as he thought about the many things that could happen in the afterlife. He then snapped out of it "I guess I'll have to face him sooner or later... Of course though, I'd rather later"

Loreley jerked back in shock, slamming into the back wall of the bar. Several bottles crashed to the ground, smashing into smithereens. "What the HELL are you WEARING!?!!?!?!?!?" she shreiked, eyes wide. "YOU'RE SPARKLEY!!!!!"
Shyam giggled, finding the whole thing hilarious.

Leon shot staight up without saying a word or moving a muscle "Speak of the devil..." Leon said as he rose the glass of rum back to his lips but found it hard because he was shaking "You heard every word didn't you" A chill ran down Leon's spine at that thought.

Death rubbed his temples and glanced at Leon "I heard very little of what you said sir and please Loreley don't yell. This is my court atire and I came straight here from court" Death said.

Loreley nodded, pushing a glass of water his way. "Things that bad? Lam misses you popping up at school by the way..." she asked. Turning to leon she put on a troubled smile. "Leon, this is my good friend Death. Deathy, this is my newest employee Leon."

Leon seemed to relax but that was probably only the rum doing that "So how many of them are you?" Leon asked curiously. He then finished the last of his drink and wiped his mouth

Death stopped rubbing his temples and picked up his glass of water "I am the physical representation of Death. Ever heard of the phrase 'Kiss of Death' well it's quite literal to be honest. I am the thing that ends a person's life which turns them into being dead" Death explained.
