She sighed. "How lame." she said, catching sight of a silver streak behind Death. Before she could say anything however; the entity was knocked off his stool, water all, by Shyam. "UNCA DEAFY!!!!" he squealled, nuzzling into his back. "When'd you come home?"

Death pushed himself up off the ground and stood up. He dusted himself off before looking at the child "I can only stay for a short time. The Creators have called for the council to gather so I must go" Death said with annoyance in his voice

Shyam pouted at hearing this. "But you just got hewe..." he whined. "Shyam, what did I say about using that tone of voice. Why has the council been called to gather Death?" she asked seriously, leaning against the bar.

Death sat back in his stool and shook his head "Hell if I know. They never say why the council has been called until it has begun" Death explained.

Her frowned deepened. "s**t's going down I guess. Give me a heads up if it's something I should know." she said as Shyam scrambled like a monkey to sit on Death's shoulders.

Death helped Shyam to his shoulders "I'm not allowed to say what happens in our gatherings to those who aren't allowed within the chambers. That is one rule that I am not allowed to break" Death informed.
