you throw them on a pan, throw em in the oven and come back later, heating is heating as long as it gets the job done and allows my army to rule all!

yes, but if you fry them, in your case, tthe troop deployment rate would be quicker and the "troops" would have a harder crunchier outer shell! Frying has many advantages when it comes to fries! Including an increase in the yummy factor!
