Good....youngest son to save the day before he had to hurt the inthara boy to get it through his head that piper was off limits. before the second he was out of sight Malik was back to malik.
"Okay...see I was right. good idea to keep the males inthara boys from you right now."
A slight grin to her, and tapping her nose.
"and you better not go flirting with them either."
"Very well. I'll try to be more encouraging if you think it will help. but if it doesn't, I'll send a note and Lord Inthara can pull her out at request. is this agreeable to you both?"

That was never a good sign. When he agreed with her it meant he just didn't want to get into an argument. She glance down at her hands and shook her head. "My mouth hurts and I don't think I could swallow anything right now. Thank you though." Would he ever understand? Probably not.
"I believe so. I won't force my child to do something she cannot stand and you will stop humiliating her and treating her badly. You should be reported for that but I'll let it go. I agree."
Stumbling backward seemed to break whatever spell he was under and his look instantly turned to one of horror. What had he been thinking about?! Shaking his head, he followed his best friend upstairs and plopped heavily down on his bed. "Wow..." And not about the blade either. "That was weird."

He didn't like this advice, it sounded none too fun to follow. Another horrified look and noise from him though, this story was quickly becoming no fun. "She can twist people up?!"
"Fine with me." Always one kid having an issue a week. But that was the way of offspring.
"Yes, you were right. Doesn't help that it's hitting me harder today than usual...It's hard enough not stalking you myself and adding them to the mix is simply too much hassel." Shaking her head lightly. "Kelligrin I'm not worried about honestly, he's still shorter than me, I can handle him. I'd be more worried if Zykariel found himself interested. He's about as big as Sevilin now." Rolling her eyes at him with another set of giggles though, "Please you know I only flirt with you. I like my elves three times my own age at least and very well seasoned."
"I'll get you something for that." Making sure she was comfortable and settled before he left the room and had Keely go fetch something for Kaelin's pain from the little room Zahara kept all her things in. Even Keely knew what was what in there. As for himself...well he needed a drink and thus headed into the kitchen to get one.
Dhairiss continued to drag his friend from the room and up the stairs as he recovered himself and they both plopped on the bed. "Weird? Yeah a lot weird. Why would you look at my mom like that? I mean I know she's pretty yeah but that's family." Meanwhile reaching under his pillow and pulling out the wrapped blade. "Here, occupy yourself with this." It was nine inch dagger that was serrated on both sides with a line running down the center. When he gripped the hilt tightly, the blade split apart to reveal a long spike/needle that apparently was connected to a glass vial that was embedded into the pommel to look like fancy decoration. "Neat, isn't it?"

smirking only lightly, and pulling her onto his lap, nevermind his son coming down to get a drink..which got his attention momentarily.
"Two things. how is she doing, and keep Zykariel away from your mother till this is over. at least if you want Zykariel to not be hurt."
before giving some attention back to his wife, kissing her and lightly rubbing her thigh under the table just because.
"Alright then. thank you for your time, lord and lady inthara. I'll make some adjustments and see if this situation doesn't turn out for the better."

Hm, perhaps that wasn't the best story to tell such a young elf... This is why he wasn't supposed to talk about such things. "Yes, but it's not forever, Kit. You can do the same thing to yourself when you curl up into a ball..."
"Good, then we're finished here. Let us know if we can assist in any other way." Getting up and waiting for Sevilin then walking out of the classroom. "Well, that went..well."
She wasn't pleased with his withdrawal but understood it, too. Instead, she drank down whatever disgusting concoction the girl had given her and promptly went back to reverie. Her body still had things to take care of and she wasn't feeling completely better.
"I don't know. It was like I smelled cookies...and then I saw your mom only she wasn't your mom. She was a girl...I mean a woman. And she was looking at me and giggling...and I couldn't help myself." Shaking his head. "Ugh...now I just feel icky." But that was gone when that beautiful blade came out. He took it, gently holding it in his hands as he inspected every inch. When it's secret was revealed, Kelligrin cackled maniacally. "You could do some serious disembowelment with this baby. Where did you get it?"

And now the little elf looked confused. "I can't twist myself up like a pretzel..." Though he was even more wary of horses now. Especially if they could do things like that. "How come it's not forever?"
Getting himself up, he followed her out with his hands shoved into his pockets. "Well, I suppose." Shaking his head lightly, "She shouldn't even be in this place anymore. I couldn't get Zykariel to stay, I can't get her to leave. What is with our children?" Though it was said with a tad of amusement in his voice. "I'm sure Kel will be pulling something next."
"Yeah...ew. Don't talk about my mom that way. It's just plain weird." Sticking his tongue out at the notion because that was really disturbing for him. "You should feel icky. I'd feel icky if I was oggling your mom." Kel proved easily distracted as Dhairiss though, provided there was something sharp and shiny in front of him. "I think you can do anything serious with that thing. And sh, it's a secret where I got it. Classified information."
He didn’t mind his parents at all. When you had walked in on them when they were totally involved with each other and you pretty much saw all there was to see it simply didn’t bother you anymore. Besides, mom was happy and dad was in a good mood so it was a good day. Pouring himself something strong, he settled at the table with a sigh, sipping at his drink some…he still didn’t handle his alcohol too well when it was the strong stuff. “She’s fine. Confrontational but fine.” Wrinkling his nose. “Women.” Before an odd look to his father. “And Zykariel isn’t allowed around mom why now?” He assumed ‘this is over’ meant his mother’s weird chick thing she was doing.
“Dear Malik, it’s only the men who start slobbering like dogs over us. We just continue to giggle and flush more if they pay us the attention our bodies want. If you call that flirting, well I can’t help that.” Giving a giggle however and the degrees seeming to rise a few notches in her body as he pulled her over and indeed started feeding biological fires. A giggle however and a hand on his chest, pushing herself away some. “I’m trying to be good today Malik. You’re not helping…not that I think you want to help me not crawl into bed with you.” Turning her attention to their oldest as he sat down. “I know Khai, us women are frustrating but that’s what motivates you men to keep trying to get to us.”

though a grin at his wife and letting her go. okay he'd be good. before back to his oldest.
"confrontational? how?"
Before settling his eyes back on his wife and leanign over for another kiss on the cheek, and waiting for his son to answer him.

"I bet you could if you tried. I can do it." Nope, this hadn't gone well at all. Maybe he should just have his brother ask his father for the rest of the questions. "Because that would be mean... Ask Dad. He'll be able to tell you anything you want to know, Kit."
"They love to push your buttons, Raven." And hers but she was only half-joking when she said that. Cerrilia was probably right that Lyssie was staying in part because she was someone at the school. It was silly for her daughter to torture herself that way though. And it wouldn't end up well, either. "He might still have a year or two before he really starts what he's going to do. Are you going to talk to Lyssie or am I?"
"You have ogled mine but you were way younger so I guess it wasn't as weird." And truthfully they weren't supposed to be around the house so really they weren't supposed to see his mother dressed that way. It had been kind of strange to see her like that for him too. Quirking an eyebrow at his friend, he glanced around. "I don't see anyone here who will tell. Where?"

"You can?" Well he just didn't know how to feel about all of these things he was learning from his brother. A little scared but a little intrigued as well. Kit made a noise of disappointment though. "But you started the story, you gotta finish it. Daddy'll tell it different."
"We should both probably talk to her. That way we avoid the bias that we have and she'll try to use that argument agaisnt us as she usually does with mother things. 'You're mom or dad so you have to say such and such'." Shaking his head lightly, that in itself was a button pushing thing for him.
"I blame the hormones and you saw how she was dressed. You could practically see EVERYTHING." Squinting at the mental imagery that brought up befor shaking his head to get it out. "That way my mom dresses sometimes, people are lucky to know she's a girl at just a glance." Frowning though and getting close to his friend. "Your dad has runes all over this place and my dad uses them to listen in on things." But maybe with his father distracted...and thus Dhairiss practically climbed on top of Kelligrin he was so close to him and whispering, "I got it from the vault downstairs."
He raised an eyebrow at that and stared. "Now that is something to go 'ew' over. Ew." Did not need to think about his best friend, or his brothers anywhere near his mother like that. "And also weird." Tending his drink at that notion before his father was continuing to question. "As in she's going to argue reasons. I'm lucky she's not going skipping back to Vesendar." Which got a bitter look. He hated caring sometimes.
"No worries Khai...like I told your father it could be a lot worse." Just needed to make sure to tell Zahara that at least one of her sons were Andalian inclined when it came to such things. The others...well she wasn't going to test that for them. Besides, she wanted to kick this flushed and giggly thing. Which she gave a giggle as Malik continued to poke at her in his own ways without looking like too much of a culprit.

"She's not going anywhere. even if I have to have sevilin runically lock her to the lands. she's been seriously injured, and her father is doing things that are dangerous enough without beating or worse on her."
that did give a thought though...was this violence connected to that. had she seen or met someone...or was she used as an unknowing delivery girl.
"And you aren't taking care of anything, Malikhai. it's already arranged."

He frankly wasn't surprised that his father thought something like that was possible because it probably was. Him and Sevilin came up with all kinds of nifty ideas like that. "Try telling her that." It wouldn't be so bad really if he hadn't fallen for the stupid woman. But his thoughts couldn't stay on the just friends path and this is what he got for it. Again, women. Another look over to his father some, sighing lightly. "I figured you'd say that too. Well, at least that way you're the one to upset her more than she already is." Khai would probably be called to the floor by her though, her probably accusing him of getting Malik involved.

"Her father is dealing with things that should be left alone and can constitute a threat to Vesendar. That makes it my problem. And I've taken steps to clear that problem up."
A slight frown.
"she wants to call me on the carpet, fine. If she an even see the hands behind it. This is a delicate web, and I'm treading carefully. and as for her not leaving, I'll make sure of it. even if I have to tie her up."

"That's convenient." Either this was a case of things working out in several people's favors or divine intervention. Personally he didn't care which for in his opinion several people were winning on this. Turning a look over to hsi father. "If it makes you feel better, she said she's not going anywhere. I told her she was free to wander to wherever she wanted to stay in the lands under your watch and she didn't seem interested." Finishing off his glass and setting it on the table.

"Gee and I thought so socially awkward and association complication years of mine were over." Shaking his head lightly at that before shrugging his shoulders. It honestly didn't bother him as much as it used to, if at all these days. He handled most anyone who wanted to give him a rough time on things. "I really don't enjoy this being much more sinister than it already is. If you absolutely have to interrogate her can you be gentle as possible? She won't tell you anything if you bear down on her."
