"Is watching over me necessary too? I'm a big elf, I can take care of myself." Despite her good intentions, he was on the edge as well right now too with things running through his head, though he did take the rag and do as Zahara asked of him, if only to be helpful to the moment.
Cue frown. "Figures." Shaking his head lightly then to the notion. "Granted, no assignment should involves one's family let alone their teachers. I call that a conflict of interest in anything." Though he could guess what went on, and he didn't like what came to mind at all. "I bet that was horribly awkward and will never be discussed again between you two."
"No one. Which is why the operative word 'if' was in there. " I know you'll both give it your all and someone will eventually slip up. He'll still be angry at you for making him pit against you, regardless of outcome. Hope you have your 'this is why I did it' speech ready."
Swallowing a bite of food, he looked an innocently as possible at his father. "Aw, but that's where we find the best things. People bring all their fancy stuff to Tournament." Grinning lightly, "Nearly on my foot. Besides, I have two of those."

Despite herself, a small smile tilted Zahara's lips and she nodded. "Understood." If she weren't a mother and hadn't seen her own sons and daughters go through moments like these where she wanted to help and they just wouldn't let her, she probably would have been hurt by his brush-off. But she was used to it. "Call me if anything changes."
"That's what Khai told her last night. She was really upset about having the whole thing all messed up though. So either you'll get a letter from the school or a visit." Shaking his head and then shuddering. "Never. Ever. So if you want to discuss it with her make sure I'm nowhere around. I'll never be able to look at her again otherwise. That's my sister! My sister!"

"Good. Long as you're prepared." Malik did have a talent of soothing his son when the boy got all upset.
"So in other words, we have to have a parent. That's a lot less fun." Which they'd probably end up with the women if it was that way. Hm, mothers were still exploitable with the right kicked puppy look or annoying gestures.
He nodded lightly to her, but that was about it. His attention was truly focused somewhere else, more pointedly somewhere in his own head.
"Don't worry, we'll handle that part." Clapping his son on the back lightly, he could honestly sympathize with the boy, though probably not in the exact way it was the thought that counted. "Indeed. Your stupid sister at that whom should know better than to do certain things, no matter who tells her. Look at it this way, could be worse."

"Good." He almost chuckled at his father calling his sister stupid but managed to hold it in at the last minute. She would bean him for sure if she heard that. Probably their father, too. "Teachers suck like that sometimes. Just make it a priority." Giving a grin to his father and then turning and moving back to the little elf sitting patiently at the table. "Dad said it was alright."

He gave a happy noise as his brother came back with the new and jumped up from his chair. "I need my boots!" And thusly running to the front foyer area where various sizes of shoes were lined up as well as cloaks hanging on the wall, a few various weapons mounted on the opposing wall. Grabbing his cloak off the wall he pulled it on then plopped down to slip his feet into his boots, not bothering to lace them and then opening the door. "I'm ready!" Knowing better than to go out there alone.

Cerrilia was indeed writing a letter to have teh inthara parents meet with her concerning thier daughter's progress in her class and the failure of several tests of late. mostly due to her simplyl not bothering or caring about doing them. which was annoying as well.

"At this point, you might just want to sit me down in the stands and make me wait around rather than letting me wander about. You're taking all the fun out of it." Shaking his head lightly and finishing off the food on his plate, tending to his milk afterward.
"You've had a few times where I've caught you off guard. Of course you then go away for a few hours and then come back with one prepared to make amends."

"Learning yeah, he almost got me earlier but his boots make too much noise still. I still don't get how you swoosh with you cloak but whatever." Shrugging lightly to that, "And I don't pickpocket." Didn't say much for his friend but he was neither confirming nor denying that...after all, Kelligrin said he was giving the stuff back anyway. "I'm not very good at sneaking anyway." He got distracted too fast.

He chuckled and gently pushed the little elf down onto the stairwell proceeding to lace and tie his boots properly. "Destyny isn't going anywhere, Kit. You can take time to make sure you won't trip and fall out of your boots." Zykariel grabbed his own cloak and then ushered him out the door and to the stables, moving about and getting the large brush he used to groom his horse. Finding the stool that would make it easier for the shorter elf, he lifted him up onto it and nodded. "Go ahead."
Kaelin stirred slowly, but stirred nonetheless. She tried to open her eyes but they were puffy and swollen shut. One hand flailed about frantically as she tried to figure out where she was and what was going on. Her body felt strange and she didn't like knowing that she wasn't safe. "Hello?"

He pouted at having to stop and let his brother do his laces. Kit could tie up his own boots, he just often didn't and walked around with laces and leather all loose and practically falling off his feet with each step. "Falling down builds character." Or so he heard. But he waited the half a second that all took before they were heading outside to the stables. "Hiya Destyny." Petting at the horse as his brother got the stool and then he took the brush and took to gently brushing down the horse...he was still iffy around horses. Sometimes they scared him. "Did you give her a treat to make her feel better?"
Latching onto her wrist lightly, he kept her from doing too much more damage to herself. "You're fine Kaelin, you're with me. We're at my place." Well, her mind had figured she was okay enough to be up. That was a good thing.

Though a twitch of his ears....son's reaction said someone was awake again. which meant a glance to his wife and youngest, see if they notiiced anything but he wasn't going to get so involved just yet. He wanted to talk tot eh girl as well and now wouldn't be a good time anyway. let her recover some first,
With sevilin on things though it shouldn't be too long before an accident crippled or killed her father, but he was considering carefully what to do about the mother if Malikhai was right. Malik didn't like being lied to or taken for a fool.

"So does being patient and doing things right." His girl was always excited to see him and he took the customary snuffle at his shoulder with a gentle stroke to her nose. She shied nervously at an unfamiliar hand but settled with a gentle word from Zykariel. "Not yet but I think that's a very good idea." Thus, digging in a pouch, he produced a cube of sugar and laughed as Destyny's ears perked up and her tongue grabbed it before he could change his mind. "Minx."
Processing....Malikhai's voice. Malikhai's home? He'd come and gotten her and brought her back to his place. "Oh." She licked her dry lips and cleared her throat then tugged her wrist away and rested her hand on top of his. "W-water."
