Unless he was able to track Piper through the collar/necklace. that tihng isn't so easily destroyed like Whirlwinds feather.

Provided he had put a tracking spell/impliment on it before hand, which he hasn't. And Malik's powers are necromanic, so unless she's dead or around death, little chance of finding her.

And yes, if malik can learn/follow the location of collars, he could follow you right to Tarathiel's cabin. The spells concentrate on the ship and--
You know, If I say anymore, any of you would be able to track down the ship any time you want.

BTW, I have abbandoned all current intrest in the Piper thing.
I'll just have to get to malik a different way... A bigger castle with more slaves.

Believe me, Piper isn't the easiest way to Malik anyway despite how it seems. And with Piper comes Kieran's meddling until he leaves and goes back to Andal.
But poking against Malik's deals and slicing at his ego works nicely. Especially between drow. Now in that aspect you can use Piper. You know, drow in love with a surface elf shows a weakness (too weak to be with women of his own kind or some such nonsense.)
