Well thanks to having to go out in the burning heat on Monday to toss out god know's how many watermelons, then come back inside and enter the produce cooler I now have a cold. All in the name of getting the store to look its best because the VP of Walmart was coming on Tuesday to look around the store. Well at least all that hard work paid off Produce as well as the rest of the grocery side got a good review.
I'm glad that I have today and tomorrow off, maybe I get can ride of this cold before I have to go back to work. The only bright side is I'm going to see Harry Potter in the morning at 10:10am I wanted to go to one of the midnight showing but alas none of the cinema's around me have a midnight showing.
Oo I am jealous I want to go! You work @ Walmart? I work at your sister store..... eek we are like.... family....? xp
Indeed I've been there for two weeks now. Got hired at the start of the 4th of July weekend, then we had the VP show up so I've been broken into the store pretty damn fast.
So you work at Sam's Club?
Yes indeed. whee Hmmm.... cool

I guess that don't try and make you do the Walmart dance? They were going to make all the new hires do the dance when we came in for orientation but they must have forgotten with all the other stuff they had to go over. And I for one am glad that they forgot, lol.

I really don't know what it is either, I just know that mentioned something about a dance, and if anyone else (the other associate's that had been working there for awhile) remembered how it went. I know near the back of the new associate manual there was this page that mention something about a cheer. Like Give me a M...etc it eventually spelled out Wal~Mart.

Wow....... At Gamestop, the only thing we ever have to do is random drug screenings. Yet in 4 months that I've worked there, we've not had ONE. Matter of fact, I don' think we've had on in the last 3 years even.......
I am SOOOO glad I decided not to apply at Wal-Mart. I know myself. I would HATE it.

I am not presently employed (gonna be, sooner than later! self-employed, even!) but anyone who talks back at me when I'm on the job gets a time out*.
cool Yeah, daycare worker/preschool teaching assistant is pretty slick (if you are comfortable around kids, which not everyone is). Plus, I GET TO PLAY WITH TOYS. Lego? Lego. Y'know, I got four or five giant bins of Lego in my basement right now I've yet to begin sorting through. I wish I could make a Lego Rapture...* = never actually needed to do this, I've had great luck so far and worked primarily with awesome fun kids. And now I've probably jinxed myself.

I used to love lego >.< haven't touched my lego in so long I'm actually debating in selling it >.< but I would be keeping the mega blocks dragons though XP so many projects I wanna do... so many pieces missing to do them >.< plus with my attention span I get bored and sidetracked and basically lose all focus >.< anyways I hope you have fun

Harry Potter Death Hallows Part II was FANTASTIC! Sure I can nitpick at some of the changes but for the most part this movie basically was copy/pasted straight from the pages of the book.

I'm not afraid to admit that I cried a little during the movie at various times.

I've only seen the first trio of HP movies years ago, and it's been a long time since I read the books! I enjoyed it when I was younger, though, and I still think it's a fun series. I think I might get the DVDs eventually for when I have my daycare, since it's likely I'll have some older kids to watch 'em with.
