The other vampires surrounded petrol and asked him several questions about Zy and his wife, all of them looked young, the oldest looked 18.
I tired, It's locked. Zy told Jerick as he headed to the door as if it unlocked itself.
"Stop playing around Zy, we need to know where we're placing the guys to get ready for attacking the party coming to take Janan." He told his old friend.

Shaon sat down, Janan rolling around in her hands and sucking on ehr mother's wrist. Shaon would let Janan feed, but with all these vampires around she felt on edge.

You're right, I know some good places out in the edge of the forest and th barn. You guys follow me." He told the other vampires. He only meant for a few to come, but all of them followed him outside.
Jerick was alone with Shaon, just like he had planed. Zy was a good leader, but Jerick could always get what he wanted from him. He knew the kids would all follow him, and if they didn't, he would simply tell them to leave. He sat down across from Shaon. "Why... What were you thinking?" He said in a calm voice.

Shaon stared at the ground feeling tears sting her eyes as Janan pawed at her shirt and finally was able to feed. "what did you see?" she mumbled, afraid of what he would say. she felt so stupid and hurt, but she didn;t know what else to do.

She flushed red. "He said we needed money...i didn;t know what else to do...i don't plan to do it again..." she mumbled, wincing as Janan bit her with her gums instead of feeding. "he never lets me help..." she looked at the ground with tears in her eyes. "he's so stupid and stubborn."

"You two are the wost match for each other." He told her. "Zy wants to be the savior all the time and you... you want to save him all the time." He said as he shook his head. "Why should I care if yall keep secrets from eachother." He mumbled.

"i love him and i want us both to be equal...." she choked, "tell me...i don't know how to get him to understand how i feel...." she hugged janan close and made her squeak. "i love him so much, so much it hurts. it hurts so much when he won;t tell me. i don;t want to keep secrets fro him..." she mumbled.

Zy returned with two vampires including Petrol. All done, now we just wait. He told Jerick and then looked at Shaon. What's wrong honey?

I didn't know about the prophecy. He told her, thinking she meant the cross on Janans stomach.

"i mean the necklace szander gave to me." she frowned. "why didn;t you tell me?" she felt her body shaking, feeling like she was going to cry. there was so much more besides the cross that was bothering her.
