Opening his eyes he looked to his hand, watching the energy around it. Well, it was never that color before and that most certinaly not pink either. But he still concentrated as he watched where his hand was poised in the air, funneling what was suggested into his brain and kicking in his thoughts. Like how it felt when he brother was kidnapped and how his bouncy little self didn't exist after that for a while. Which yes added another level to his anger as he cared for his brother very much. And he pushed farther, letting by his father's suggestion his imagination wander some.
She was never around his little bouts, mostly because they were smart enough to at least grab him to torment him when he was alone. It wouldn't take much for them to turn on Kaelin if they thought they could, unfortunately some things you couldn't breed out of the younger generation of the drow here, Vesendarian or not. And if his brother followed by his example, he wouldn't stay home for lessons long either and there was no doubt he was targic fodder. If he himself was considered a funny color, his brother was a mutt of color picking treasure for them.
He frowned again, still watching as his magic reacted to what he let play through hsi head, his hand lightly trembling to this all and a dull ache starting in his fingers. "And when do I know when I can't possibly push any stronger?"
He blinked, looked at his fingerpaints and seemed to look through them a moment, leaving purple fingerprints all over the other lids. Dhairiss frowned and looked up at her, almost distressed about his discovery. "I don't have it." His paints consisted of basic rainbow and accessory colors and certinaly nothing metallic.
"Normally I would say not...but I can hear exactly everything that your mother is down there so if I think he's saying something that will make her...lose her better judgement...then I'll step in." He was no fool, and he knew that she needed her own retribution. Sevilin rightly deserved his own as well but he wasn't really the retribution kind of man anymore. Sometimes knowing certain facts was enough for him.
"No worries Zahara, he'll be lucky to stay in this room in whatever form he's taken by the time Malik wants to get at him." Things that came down here and actually got a chance to leave these rooms...well she thought them a very unlucky bunch. "Come on now."

"When it feels like there's a cast forming over your hand...like your fingers and such are going numb and stonelike. when that happens, you either let it go, or you use it. the moer you push those limits, the more you can push. once your hand can turn the color of blood, the rich, dark blood...that's as strong as it will get ever. and that is nearly or is, lethal to almost any humanoid."
He gave a smirk.
"You only think you know."
before he dragged himself up...and lunged at Zahara, grabbing her ankle with fingerbones sharp enough to tear fabric and rip flesh.
"You can just remember you were the one that killed yor child. your arrogance, your impatience, and your pride killed one unborn...I'd hate to see it get another one killed."

She wasn't wearing her high boots today so his finger bones did indeed pierce her flesh. She managed to keep from slipping and falling but her breath hissed out and she jerked her ankle in surprised pain. Her dagger was out in a matter of seconds and with one quick swipe she castrated him."Your poison killed my baby. Nothing else."
Dhairiss was understandably upset and Kaelin instantly wanted to soothe him. "What color is it, Dhairiss? Maybe I have it or we can make it."

A look to the slave once more...knowing that his father wanted his son to touch that man just to see the difference in reaction to the weak level verses the stronger level. Well, his fingers were already going numb, he knew that much but it was nowhere near that color either. But he had age working against him as well. Thusly a swallow and a step forward, touching fingertips to their example participant.
Walking into the cell, shekicked Gizdean's wrist, more or less severing his hand from his arm as a hard kick broke through already splinter fractured bone. Grabbing Zahara by the back of her tunic Piper took to gently pulling her out, taking her dagger from her as well. "If there's one thing Tier'dal do, it's never shut up if they think they can enrage you with just their words. Come on now." A look over her shoulder, "Broog? You can have him back now."
"Silver and gold." At least at the present in time they were and were indeed tied, mostly because it reminded him of mommy's and daddy's eyes and that always made him happy aside from blue and green was a close third place.

Finished, indeed. She didn't even stop to wipe her bloody dagger off, just let Piper pull her from the room and glare down at the body lying there. Stupid b*****d. He was trying to piss her off and put her in the same situation she'd been in before. Even though he didn't have daggers tipped in poison this time. "I suppose Malik will deal with him now? I want him to suffer the way my son suffered, Piper. No mercy."
"Silver and gold..." She couldn't quite remember how to make them but she did know that she had both of those colors in her painting supplies. She'd have to be very careful how much she let Dhairiss use and how he used it thought. Getting up, she walked into the room where her paintbox was sitting and pulled out the two small jars then came back showing them to the child. "Here's silver and gold, Dhairiss. But you have to let me help you do it. Is that okay?"

Broog stepped back intot he cell, followed by a cleric. the door was shut again, and before long there was the sounds of something being injured.
the slave howled in pain and collapsed to his knees, gripping his chest with a hissing sound from his skin.
Malik nodded lightly.
"Good job. I bet something like that happens again, give them a taste of this, and they won't touch you again I don't think."

"As you wish." It was simple as that, besides if this all dealt with the safety of his own family and she quite knew it did then Malik would indeed be having no mercy. Especially if this was someone from Norrath that he particularly didn't like...and he didn't like assassin's guild members. Letting Broog take back over, she dropped an arm around Zahara's shoulders, leading her back upstairs. "I hold no responsibility if Sevilin is upset you're down here."
He brightened again as she solved his problem and brought out the shiny paints in the small jars. Indeed he was about to go fingers in paint, not knowing the difference between professional and play paint but stopped as she spoke again. Excitedly he nodded. "What do we do?"
Yeah that was new now wasn't it? Though as energies died down, he shook his hand some in the air trying to get rid of that numb feeling. Well, that was something wasn't it. "If they're smart that is...but I question that often anyway." Shoving his hands in his pockets and rocking on his heels in childish fashion then. "So...we're good. You and me. Right?"

She'd brought a few other things with her as well and spread out a piece of board that she'd been using as a palette in Andal, dripping some of each color onto the board since she knew dipping that paintbrush back in the pure colors would ruin them. Picking up the larger of her brushes she held it out to him. "Dip it into whichever color you want and then we'll gently brush it onto the spot you want silver or gold." Putting the paintbrush in his hand and then covering his with her own to direct him.
"I don't think you'll have to worry too much." Limping her way up the stairs slowly since her ankle was still bleeding and giving her some pain. A quick healing session would solve it, of course. "He knew I'd wander that way sooner or later. I like to look at those who do such things to me and my children and ensure they get their just rewards in return."

Malik nodded.
"Me and you are good, my son. if there's anything you need, please let me know, I want to help you as much as I can, you know that. but I think I need to find the brigade master and treat him to some underdark food."
A slight smirk, he'd have the staff make the delicacies that normally only a Tier'dal would like...even his wife didn't like some of those.

Letting her help indeed, he dipped the brush into the gold pain and let her help him hold the brush and he was trying to carefully paint in the color that he wanted on tree rat, namely eyes. "You got to use some on flutterby."
"I wouldn't expect anything less from you, you know that." Shaking her head with a light chuckle as they got back upstair and headed back up to Zahara's and Sevilin's room...and look at that, there was Sevilin and half of the children they had. "Yes, I stole your wife, but I brought her back as well."
Handing his Zykariel his little sister, he walked over and scooped Zahara up from Piper, carrying her back to the bed and plopping on it, tending to her ankle with his own runes. "And yet not in one piece. Though that's what you do." Not said in a slighted manner, dare someone say he said it almost playfully.
"Yeah, I know." Smiling at his father and feeling that sense of relief that came with problem solving but also happy in the knowledge of other things now as well as deepened bonds. A laugh though, "You always like to impress with food...I think he'll take you up on the offer though. Just don't expect us to eat all of it either." He knew his mother turned her nose up at some things and other things he wouldn't eat if it looked funny. Dhairiss was just plain picky.

He was doing a good job and she praised him quite liberally as he managed to paint his tree rat's eyes gold. He got out off the eyes some since his motor skills were still developing, but overall, he did a fine job. "I think you're right. Silver body, you think?" She thought it would look particularly pretty with the other colors chosen. "Want to help me now?"
And look at that she was back in bed. She watched Zykariel carry his sister off and shook her head, hissing as Sevilin touched slightly ravaged skin. "He got his bones into me, that's all. I cut off his p***s."

Galesen was busy thinking of what he had to take up with him when he saw Zykariel pass through the room. "Zykariel." He waited until the boy turn to him before he beckoned him over. "I have something for you, I decided to get everyone a few things from Andal, just simple gifts because I thought it would be nice for everyone to receive something. And since you have gotten a lot older I know that you don't need such things like toys and all so here." Galesen extended his hand and in it was a leather casing which held a good seven inch long knife, the blade was made of mythril of course and the handle was made out of good brown leather with a metal nub at the end. "I've heard that you've gotten into a few scraps some times so I thought it be best if you had something on you to use in self defense, so here take this." He wasn't trying to buy the boy's friendship or anything, Galesen was just a thoughtful man for the kids.

Malik smirked.
"More of testing to see if he's as tough as he thinks he is. And I need to get him and sevilin to talk. that's not going to be easy."
before nodding to his son adn going to do precisely that...and get someone to fetch Sevilin as well. after all they needed to talk and by the gods he was going to make them talk even if he had to strap sevilin into a chair and rune it himself.

Quick heal and a wipe off of blood, and he stood up, brushing a hand affectionately through her hair. "Remind me to never upset you ever again." Rolling his eyes to Piper's chuckle on his opinion of the matter. He was a man after all, his opinion was vastly different. Blinking though as someone else joined their party, saying Malik wanted to see him.
"Yes!" Liking her idea easily and he handed her back the brush, adusting his sitting some to scoot closer to her. "I want you to do it." Blinking big eyes up at her in please fashion as he grinned at her.
"Nothing is easy when it comes to Sevilin." He was old enough to observe and know that, but that's the Sevilin that he grew up around anyway so that wasn't bothersome at all. Following upstairs and letting his father wander off, hands still in his pocket and he himself headed upstairs to go check on his brother since his father was going to go play in his own way. A blink at seeing her and his brother painting.
Tyyrael would be found playing witn Yinn in a hallway. "I see you little guys are thriving here." Letting the ever growing creature nibble on his fingers some before scratching behind his ears, attention turning up to Malik as he approached. "Settling into home well?"

"You won't ever have to worry about such things." She snuggled down under the covers since she knew she was supposed to still be in bed and watched him go. "Be good, Sevilin."
"Alright. I'll do it." Dipping the paintbrush into the silver paint, she carefully stroked it onto the body of the clay butterfly, easily painting all the way around in smooth, fluid strokes. It was quite a pretty little sculpture when she was finished. Setting it aside on a piece of parchment she'd grabbed, she gave him a grin. "Put your Tree Rat on here to dry as well and we'll go play another game. Okay?"
Faate still had that book in her possession but now was a good of time as any to make sure her father got it. She was going to leave it in their room but that didn't seem to really be following directions. Heading down to where her father was standing, she tugged on his tunic. 'Daddy. You're supposed to read this or something..."
Eyebrow quirking when he was called, he walked over nonetheless and listened all through Galesen's little speech. Taking the leather case as it was handed over, he pulled out the blade and gave a whistle. "That's quite a knife. Thanks, Galesen."
