Once they were safely out of the Head Nurses sights, Kyle breathed a sigh of relief, hoping that he'd put enough distance between them. He didn't think much about how rude it might have seemed to push her down the hall, but it was clear that he would have brushed it off had Samantha verbalized her concerns. "Ugh, that was close..." he murmured under his breath, shooting glances over his shoulder just in case.
"Huh...? Oh, yeah, sure! Uh... where is your room?" he asked, rubbing the back of his head. He remembered that her room was one of the places that they were supposed to find, but he really didn't have any clues as to which room was going to be hers. At her question, he shrugged, saying, "Sure, why not? I'm running out of places to show you anyway." With a small laugh, he started walking aimlessly down the hall, wondering if they could find it. "Is there anywhere specific outside you want to go?"

That would suck for her... For Sil, I mean. ))
"My room... General Klaud said, was on the upper levels..." She seemed to
shift through something in Alice's dress before producing a slip of paper with
numbers and directions, holding it up to Kyle. "This is where my room is.
The rest of my things have probably been delivered already..."
She said it, almost talking to herself, half wondering if her stuff made it or
not. She didn't pack a lot. Just her doll collection of thirteen porcelain dolls,
one of which was in her arms, and clothing. Silently she hope they all made
it in one piece...
Seeming to come out of a trance she glanced back up at him. "Is there
anywhere interesting outside? I would ask to see a garden, but it's winter..."
She wanted fresh air. Being cooped up in the station, then the train and now
the Order... But she didn't really know what was outside of the Order, hoping
Kyle would show her a nice place.

Because then Kyle would have a reason to go so close to Sil's room.. And especially with her trying to avoid him.
But don't worry. Samantha may be a blessing to Sil.

Kyle took the offered slip of paper and unfolded it to read the directions, changing course for the nearest flight of stairs. "Okay, so upper levels and... I'm pretty sure it'll be easy to find it as long as the numbering system isn't messed up," he stated with a nod. As Samantha inwardly worried about her luggage, he raised an eyebrow and glanced at her. "This isn't all you brought? What else did you have taken to your room?"
At her question Kyle looked across the hallway, squinting his eyes as he tried to think of anything interesting in the great outdoors. "I'm not even sure there is a garden, anyway... but, uh... I know there's a lake that's frozen over, there's the woods outside, and there's a town past that," he frowned, unable to remember anything else. "Though... the town is quite a walk, so if you're tired, that probably isn't the best place."

"No. I brought my friends and more clothes. This luggage was only for
travel." She followed him up the stairs with a pace matching his own. She
didn't expect to ever go home, so why would she leave her things there?
Besides.. She didn't even know if she could go home...
Falling silent, all the noise that came from her was the pattering of her shoes
on the floor. She came back to reality though after Kyle spoke again.
"Oh..." Her voice was a little sad at the mention of no garden at all, and
nothing else seemed to catch her attention. Perhaps she would go on a walk
with him to the lake though...
"Could we go the frozen lake?"
