"Yeah, hold it down so we can lose it! She'll be fine, right?" Kyle questioned, not really caring what the answer was either way. Besides, there was no way that the robot could damage or destroy the doll-like woman, so it wasn't as if she was in too much danger. He continued running until the girl started struggling, coming to a complete stop as she slid off of his back and sprinted toward the Komurin. "What are you doing, kid?! Have you gone crazy?!"
Setting down Samantha's bag near the side of the wall, Kyle took off after the young girl, watching in horror as hands poured out of what looked to be its torso. "Get out of the way!" he yelled to the little Exorcist, eying the hands warily. He was too focused on the now-captured girl to be looking for any weak points, so he was unaware of the sparks flashing at the back of its head.
"You piece of junk!" He whipped his boomerang at the arms and managed to slice a few, including the one that was holding Samantha. Rushing to meet her as she fell, Kyle caught the girl before she hit the ground and proceeded to run in the opposite direction, abandoning his Innocence where it hit the wall and fell to the ground near the machine. Unfortunately for him, another hand managed to grab his left leg, causing him to throw Samantha forward and land flat on his face. "Run!" he commanded, finding that his efforts to reach the boomerang were futile.

Samantha rolled out of his grasp, lost in her petticoat as she flailed to get
free from them. Alice flipped down to protect the girl as she struggled, but
once Samantha was free, Alice shot towards the Komurin, and Kyle, who
had almost made it to the doors. Quick work was made of the wired tubings
as Alice cut through them. Within a moment, Kyle felt arms wrap around
him as the doll lifted him to safety beside Samantha.
Samantha spoke softly. "There's sparks on the back of it's head..."
Alice didn't need any more instruction as she bolted up the Komurin again.
Sword poised for one final attempt... Kyle could see the strain in the girl's
emotionless eyes, her brow furrowed slightly, her chest heaved drastically.
The doll made it's mark, sword bursting through the other side of the
camera. Komurin stumbled, voice even beyond recognition now. Slowly it
sank to the ground, and a flash of light as Alice returned to the doll shot from
behind the monster's head.
Samantha's head dropped a bit, but she tried to remain strong.
She didn't catch her breath before telling the man "Thank you".

Kyle continued his struggle until he realized he was free once more. However, he couldn't help but put up a fight when Alice's arms snatched him up, the lack of human warmth giving him goosebumps. He breathed a sigh of relief as he was placed out of range of the robot, watching Alice charge after it once more after brief instructions from Samantha. "What's she doing...?" he wondered out loud, assuming it was hopeless to take the thing down at that point.
He turned to look at the girl and noticed that she seemed to be under some sort of strain, causing his eyebrows to raise in confusion. "Hey kid, you alright?" The fight caught his attention once more and he continued to look between the two. When the final blow was dealt, he watched the robot crash to the ground, turning to Samantha as Alice returned to her. "Good job! And... uh, you're welcome!" he said with a smile, soon noticing that she was out of breath. "You look like you ran a mile... what's that all about?"

((Brrr... on< too cold. I would like snow though...))
Samantha's chest heaved once more before talking, obviously trying to calm
her body down. In doing so she brushed out her wrinkles and straightened her
hair. She didn't exactly know why she felt exhausted- maybe it had to do with
her sync rate. She glanced up at Kyle.
"Alice uses my techniques, and my energy... I believe.." Her eyebrows furrowed
before swaying a bit. "K-Kyle?"
He could hear worry in her voice.
"I- I feel rather faint..."

(( It is pretty fabulous... as long as you're dressed for it. : D ))
Kyle continued to watch the girl as she tried to compose herself under some unknown stress, waiting for her to explain her condition. He nodded in understanding as she spoke, frowning at how worn out she'd become from the fight. "I think that's a pretty safe bet, with how out of breath you are," he said in a joking manner, trying to cover up the small amount of worry. After she'd called out his name while stumbling, however, he stepped closer to the girl to make sure she wasn't hurt.
"You mean you're going to pass out?!" he panicked, thinking she would fall to the ground at any second. If she did faint, then Kyle knew that someone in the Order would most likely yell at him for it, regardless of the giant robot that had chased them down. "Okay, you just... uh... here, hop on my back again so you don't hit your head if you black out, and I'll take you to the infirmary," he nodded, taking quite a while to think their next course of action through. He crouched down so she could grab on before standing and picking up his Innocence and her bag. "As tiring as it is, that was still pretty impressive, kid."

This is the last month of my first semester and I'm trying to get junk done for school and haha;;

((Oh I know. I went to Canada during the winter... It was amazing <3))
Samantha slowly climbed onto his back after nodding to him, looping her arms
over her shoulder. She was rather silent afterwords as she listened, staring into
the distance.
When Kyle complimented her she paused, a small smile appearing, but he
couldn't see it, since she clung to him on his back. Her voice didn't hint to the
smile either. "Thank you..."
They were the only words that came from he girl, and after a few hallways of
Kyle's swaying, the six year old girl's grip loosened and became limp as she
fell asleep.

(( I've always wanted to go to Canada... Even though it's colder there... ))
Kyle made sure not to jostle the girl too much as he continued his trek toward the infirmary, keeping the chatter to a minimum. He wasn't really expecting a response to his mild rambling, and was surprised to hear her thank him once again. "No problem, kid... Just don't wear yourself out too often. Don't want me to have to carry you all the time, right?" he teased.
Feeling Samantha relax her grip, Kyle looked back to find that the young girl had been rocked to sleep, causing him to laugh quietly under his breath. He remained quiet for the rest of the way, only speaking when he had to explain the the Head Nurse what had happened beforehand. Of course, she stared at him suspiciously the entire time, as if he had been the one to knock the girl out himself, but she merely had him deposit her onto the nearest bed as she went to report to Komui. He gently slid the young Exorcist off of his back and into the bed, placing her bag at the end of it so that she would find it once she woke up. With a smile and a small salute in the little girl's direction, Kyle retreated from the infirmary before the Head Nurse came back to chastise him. There was no time for him to listen to any nagging, as he had a few presents to wrap and a bet to win...

((The Canadian Rockies are amazing. <3))
Samantha awoke nearly a few hours later. Confused as to where she was, she
sat up to look around. Alice was sitting beside her on the table as if watching
over her. Samantha blinked slowly, relieved that the doll was still with her.
A moment passed before she slipped out of the bed, picking in up her bag and
Alice, and proceeded to head to the door.

Jez: Ohhh... They sound amazing... ;u; ))
It had taken quite a while to find a ladder tall enough to get the nutcracker ornament down from the tree, and even longer to find the materials necessary to wrap it that late in the month. Either they'd all been used up, or were in the possession of people who were still doing some last minute wrapping. Luckily for him, Kiah didn't keep her room locked and had a good collection of bows and wrapping paper under her bed. Once the deed had been done and the presents were ready to go, he shoved them towards the back of the tree, remembering to make them out to Samantha from Santa himself.
Afterward he'd headed back to the infirmary to see how the younger girl- and the nurses~- were doing. He'd walked through the door and was instantly distracted by the woman working there, completely oblivious to Samantha as she was walking nearby.
