Eating before a lady was seated? How rude. Her cheeks puffed up slightly
before hiding her face in Alice's hair once more, before sitting Alice on the chain
and pushing her to the table. Once Alice was situated, she climbed up onto the
seat and took the napkin, putting it over her lap, picking up her fork and knife. It
was then that she finally answered.
"Alice is my friend, and my protector. She is, what you call, my 'weapon'."
The statement couldn't have been any simpler as she began to eat slowly and
carefully as to not make a mess.

He continued to eat his sandwich as she pushed her doll up to the table and joined them, noticeably leaning away from the glassy stare. The table manners of an upper class family was prominent in the extra time the girl took to prepare before eating, and it took everything in his power not to groan, knowing very well what he should have done too late. He didn't regret it, however, since he tried to avoid having to be 'polite' and 'courteous' now that he was far away from home.
Nearly choking on his next bite, Kyle swallowed the large chunk of sandwich uncomfortably and scootched to the right, coughing as he put even more distance between him and the doll. "Y-you mean... she moves by herself?" he said with shallow breath, his face slowly turning pale. "Does she actually... she really does talk, too...? You're not imaging her...?"

She continued to eat carefully even through his surprise with only a glance in
his direction. "Yes, she moves, how else would she fight?" She gave a slight
glance into space again as she thought. "I do wonder if she would like to have
tea with me later..."
She took a sip of her milk before finishing her meal and dabbing her lips with a
dainty posture, looking once more up at him. "Thank you for bringing me here,
Mister Kyle."

"T-that's the only time she moves, right?" he asked quickly, images of small, beady-eyed dolls sneaking into rooms late at night running through his head. Why couldn't she have had an animal, like the other Exorcists he'd seen around? "Maybe you should ask her?" Kyle didn't move any closer to the doll, be he strained his ears in case Samantha did ask her companion- more out of fear than curiosity.
He quickly shoved the rest of his sandwich in his mouth as the girl finished up, having fallen behind due to his paranoia. "No problem, kid. You can drop the 'Mister', though...," he grimaced, "Let's get on with the tour, then, shall we?" Collecting their trays, he headed for the kitchen before doubling back and picking up her bag, nearly forgetting it. Once that was done, he paused to think about where they could go next. "Um... Let's see... we can always visit the library, or there's Komui's office, the science department... pretty sure there's a ballroom around here somewhere... Any of that sound interesting?" he questioned, letting her decide. He didn't bother suggesting the infirmary, because most people didn't frequent the place unless they were hurt, or flirting with the nurses.

Samantha only eyed Alice. She would ask her later if she would like to have
tea and cakes.
Hopping off the seat, she straightened her dress out and then picked up
Alice gently, straightening out her hair. "I believe it's the only time she
moves, But I don't watch her all the time.."
The ballroom seemed to catch her ear as she looked up at him. "The
ballroom sounds lovely... Do they hold dances there? Maybe someone could
teach me.. I know a little, but..."
With a pause she took Alice before going over the dance steps slowly and
precisely. To the normal eye it would have looked like she knew what she
was doing, but in Samantha's mind- every step was off. She stopped soon
after before lookign back up at him.
"General Klaud warned me to avoid Komui's experiments. I do however need
to go the the science department so they can get my measurements and
Synchronization Status..."

"She's not with you all the time, then?" Kyle asked rhetorically, letting out a weary sigh. He hadn't found anything to be afraid of yet in the Order, but one little girl's doll was going to have him watching his back for the next few months. "That, they do!" he cheerfully answered, bouncing back quickly as she asked about the ballroom, "usually for special occasions, so it's been awhile since there's been anything done in that room, I think."
He watched her preform her small dance in the middle of the hallway, blinking a little at the sudden stop. The dancing was quite unexpected, but when she ceased movement and looked back up at him, he started clapping with a grin on his face. "That was pretty good for knowing 'a little'. I know I wouldn't have been able to learn anything like that at your age."
Kyle waved his hand as they began walking again, dismissing her concern of Komui's experiments. "Komui's stuff is perfectly safe. But if you've gotta head to the science department, you might as well get it over with now... especially getting your Synchronization Rate checked...," he shivered, remembering the large form of Hevlaska, "Just... don't be afraid, alright?"

((Getting ready to move to Tallahassee at the end of the month. ))
"If I slept with her, her hair would get messy. She sleeps in her own bed." She
nodded a bit before holding Alice up to her face as she was applauded. "Thank
you very much, maybe I will teach you one day."
At his grimace, she blinked. "Afraid? Afraid of what if I may ask?"

Fearful thoughts thrown to the back of his mind, he smirked a little at her assumption. "You're very welcome, though I might have to turn you down on that offer. It might be a little surprising, but I did in fact learn how to dance when I got older," Kyle gloated, "in fact, you could say I'm one of the best dancers here~!"
He ran a hand through his hair with a sigh, not sure she would want to hear about what was going to unfold. "Well, there's this... weird... Innocence... lady that checks synchronization, and she's kind of...," Kyle trailed off in thought for a few moments. "She's very large and strange looking, and she does this... weird thing to, uh... examine your Innocence. It kind of feels like somethings crawling around underneath your skin." He shrugged once he's finished talking, unable to accurately explain the sensation.
