((ouo;; -hops in- ))

Down in the main corridor, the doors of the order opened for General Klaud.
She carried a small bag that didn't quite suit herself- however, it was soon
realized that the bag belonged to the small figure following her.

A few eyes landed on the figure before a heavy heart followed. Yet another
child was being brought into this war. The newest member of their family
inside the Black Order didn't look any older than 5 years.

Her curly brown hair was pulled neatly into two higher ponytails. She was
dressed in a black dress with a small coat. The lower dressed poofed out
obviously with the help of a petticoat. Within her arms, she clenched an
elegant porcelain doll that was dressed in a gown of red.

Her eyes though. The girl's eyes could send chills down the most seasoned
veteran. They hadn't an evil shine to them, however... they almost looked
soulless; staring almost blindly into space.

With a tap on the shoulder, the General motioned for her to follow, walking
towards the girl's new room while making small talk... To which the girl made
no attempt to answer. A short distance later however, Klaud paused as the
goloum spoke. What did Komui want this time? A small grumble was heard
before kneeling down and telling the girl where to go from here. The Science
department would definitely want her measurements for her uniform.

With a pat to the head, the general made her way to the office of Komui,
leaving the young exorcist in the chattering halls. Her grip tightened on the
doll as she grabbed her bag and looked around.

(( The kids are all gone now... I can hear the silence... *Rolls in it* ))

A small scowl was set on Kyle Ganz's lips as he searched the old castle for signs of a specific brown haired Exorcist, finding nothing in the few hours he'd been making his rounds. Of course, most of those precious minutes had been spent flirting with the local babes, but the dimwitted man would never admit that he forgot his objective during that time.

He passed by the main entrance in his search, traversing the halls and keeping his eyes peeled for anyone trying to duck out of his sights. Down one hall, however, he had to come to a stop and look back after passing a little girl, so out of place that even Kyle needed to assess the situation. The sandy haired man liked to think that he was decent with children, as long as there were no distractions and the kid in question was well-behaved.

"Uh... hey kid, are you... lost or something?" he asked hesitantly, rubbing the back of his head as he wondered what he should do. Upon closer examination, the first thing he noticed was the doll in the young girl's arms, grimacing as the blank eyes seemed to stare at him no matter where he moved. Sudden flashbacks of his mom's creepy doll collection assaulted his vision for a few moments before he closed his eyes and shook his head, refusing to look at the doll again.

The last thing he noticed about the girl was her rather fancy attire compared to his simple white button down shirt and black slacks before he looked at her face, a shudder visibly running through him. Though the doll had done a good job of making him uncomfortable, the small girl's empty eyes had him feeling two things: a deep sadness, and a desire to run in the opposite direction. He struggled internally for a few minutes before holding out a shaky hand, a weak smile on his face. "I can help you carry that... and show you around...?" Kyle voice raised at the end, turning the statement into a question that he was half-hoping she would deny. It was pretty sad for a well-built, over six foot tall man to be wary of a little girl.

((Oh god, Kyle! Hahaha. Not too fond of Dolls, Are we? -giggle- ))

Her eyes never stopped following as he fidgeted under her gaze. The doll she
held however wasn't being clenched as hard as it had when she first walked
into the Order. Finally she broke her gaze on him before looking at her bag
and holding it up for him to take.

Another pause and another shifting motion caused the hard soles on her
shes to clack on the stone floor, and she held the doll in front of her face as
if meaning to hide behind it. She showed no fear otherwise, but within her
mind- this man was huge. Especially for a girl of only three feet. Klaud had
told her that everyone in the order could be trusted-- Except for Komui- and
her doll lowered ever-so-slightly.

Another small moment of silence and the girl finally spoke, quietly-
monotone- but still spoke. "That would be appreciated, Mister."

(( Kyle: It's going to eat my soul... ene ))

The smile he had pasted on his face was frozen as he waited for a response, his fight or flight instincts screaming at him to run. When at last the little girl made a move, he jumped slightly, taking the offered bag and laughing nervously. Kyle waited patiently for her to answer, taking a small, unconscious step backward when she raised the doll to her face. "Ah... W-wouldn't you rather have your doll ride in the bag...?" he attempted, a reassuring smile on his face.

The monotone reply served to further his discomfort, a grimace on his face as he waited for her to continue. After a long stretch of silence, he turned around so he wouldn't have to face the blank stare, feigning excitement in hopes that he could get some kind of reaction out of her. "Okay, then! Let's start out with the Common Room!" he cheered, already starting to walk away. He debated on if he should hold her hand so he didn't lose her, but one glance back at her convinced him to keep his hands at his side. "S-so, what's your name, anyway?"

((It just might, Kyle. It just might.))
((Welcome home, Nala! c: ))

Her eyes seemed to darken and her grip tightened on the doll. She didn't
say anything but her actions should have been reason enough to believe that
she didn't want to put her little companion in the bag.

His reaction and faked excitement did nothing for the girl as she followed
him, looking around at the decorations and the people. She didn't seem at
all excited, but she didn't seem displeased.

"Samantha." Her response to his question was as blunt as a ball. "This is
Alice." She held up the blond-haired doll she kept ever-so close, it's blue
eyes giving off a glisten in the light.

The doll obviously had joints built in, as it's arms and legs dangled a bit
before Samantha brought the doll back into her protective arms.

(( Kyle: I'm just gonna... go see how the nurses are doing... *Rushes away*

Welcome back Sil! <3 ;~; *Waves pom poms* You can do it! ))

"Okay, no putting the doll in the bag! Got it...," he said with a sideways glance, catching the dark look in her eyes which made her seem even more creepy to him. Kyle knew he shouldn't, but he was soon regretting his decision to escort the girl, even if the lifeless eyes were just a reaction to her new environment. He tried to get her talking as his thoughts attempted to reason out her attitude- or lack of it.

"Samantha is a nice name... do you like Sam better, or...?" he asked, eying the doll warily. The glistening eyes sent more shudders down his spine, and his voice seemed to rise along with his discomfort. "Great name for a doll! Did you pick it out yourself?"

Thanking the Lord when he finally reached the Common Room, Kyle opened the door for Samantha and pointed to the large Christmas tree already overflowing with presents from the members of the Order, hoping that some excitement would spark to life behind those blank eyes. He was ready to relinquish any presents he might have gotten if she would just stop staring at him like that. "So, do you think Santa will be able to fit any more presents under there?" he wondered out loud, watching her face for a reaction. All kids loved the thought of Santa coming and bringing presents, right?

((-Cheers for Sil as Well-! ))

"Samantha. No nick-names, please." She continued looking around as they
walked, and answered when he asked about her doll's name. "No. She told
me her name." A small pull of a smile formed at the side of her mouth as
she glanced to the doll.

Reaching the Common Room didn't seem to spur any emotion yet again, as
her eyes trailed to the brightly lit tree. No expression change- but her eyes
showed... was it longing? The grip on Alice tightened once more as she
stared. "I don't believe in Santa."

Her stare never faded from the tree however, which reflected the twinkling of
the lights in the low-lit room. She eventually made her way over to the
decorated fir. Her attention had seemed to been grabbed by one of the larger
nutcracker ornaments that hung from the higher branches; the look of
longing only growing before looking away.
