Sil grinned at the sight of the powder, glittering like snow as it drifted out of the 'wound' left on poor, ol' Arthur. As the bullet hit him, he barely moved at all, which was a fairly good indication that anyone getting hit with the bullets was not going to be hurt badly. It was still going to smart and likely leave a welt, but in the grand scheme of pranks pulled on people, that was a walk in the park.
As the gun was offered to her, Sil flushed a little bit, staring at the piece of equipment with trepidation. "Uhm, I very honestly haven't the slightest idea what to do with that," the embarrassment in her voice was thick. "I've never actually touched a gun... besides Judgement maybe once, but I obviously couldn't shoot that one..."

Blinking in surprise at Sil's lack of experience with guns, Kiah simply nodded and brought it closer to the other woman, ready to point out what features were universal to all guns. "You're not going to let me have all the fun, right? I'll teach you, and then we can get in some target practice!" she exclaimed with a smirk. There was a small pause as she remembered that Judgement was the name of Cross's weapon, but didn't comment on it.
"The first thing I ever learned about guns is to never- NEVER NEVER NEVER- point them at anyone else, regardless of if they were loaded or not. Obviously that's not the case with this one here, or when there's... well, an emergency...," Kiah trailed of, thinking of the time she'd gotten shot, "Ah... anyway..." She proceeded to instruct Sil on the parts of the gun, how to load it, unload it, the proper way to use it, and how to aim. "Well, those are the basics! Now all you need to do is practice," she said, handing out the gun to Sil with a smile.

Throughout her lesson on the gun, she seemed a little tense and nervous looking at the object. As a youngster guns had been a rather common sight and she had never forgotten what purpose they had served. As it was, she was fortunate enough to have never heard a gun go off or seen one used while she was present, but she learned very early on the first rule that Kiah noted. To Sil, guns had always been known as a tool for killing and for protection from those who wanted to kill you, reason enough that she had always been terrified to be involved with them.
However, as the lesson continued she simply nodded. The loading and reloading was a little lost on her at the moment, as it would have to be something she would need to practice, but when it came to that she could ask again later. For now, she simply picked up the gun and held it with two hands, closing her eyes. Her hands shook slightly and she wasn't exactly sure how to aim even with the instructions. As she squeezed the trigger she closed her eyes on instinct; the gun had virtually no kick, which was excellent because Sil hadn't been expecting anything about recoil. As the shot rang off and she winced, the bullet hit the wall behind Arthur and exploded into a puff of glittery green powder. "Oh wow," she giggled a little giddy from nerves, "that wasn't even close. Where did you learn all of this?"

"Uh you can't really-," Kiah was interrupted by the shot going off, shaking her head to get the ringing out of her ears. "... You just need some practice... and maybe to... uh... keep your eyes open?" she suggested, "And I learned it a long time ago from my dad. He wouldn't let me touch them until I was six, and boy, did he make sure I knew what I was doing." It didn't take long for her to understand the consequences of her actions if she wasn't careful enough, demonstrated by her father himself on a hunting trip. "Kyle learned with me, too."
"Okay... put your hands like this on the gun, and when you aim you have to keep your eyes open. Try taking a deep breath before you pull the trigger, and squeeze as you let it out to help you relax a little," she instructed, gesturing for her to try again. "And if you're confused about anything, just let me know, alright?"
