>sword
Just get a side holster or a jacket with an inside pocket and pack heat. It's legal with a concealed carry license.
Or just have a tailor sew a folding/nylon holster into the inside of your jacket.

To be fair, the rules on concealed carry ought to be strict as ********. You're not even talking about home defense anymore, you're talking about guys walking around with a pocket full of "go ******** yourself."
I know you already have to go through testing here (in Oklahoma, a state that gives all of zero ******** about gun control), but it probably ought to be a lot more rigorous. Thankfully, not that many people actually pursue them because of the cost, the testing, the background checking, etc. And if you get caught concealing while even having alcohol in your vehicle - for example - or if you've had so much as a single beer, it's an automatic felony.
A few friends of mine have their CCPs, I'll probably nab one here over the summer.

Though i cannot recall the exact name of the permit here, its not under the same name as the concealed gun permit, but serves as at least Canada BC's version. Which allows you to carry a sidearm (cause normal gun permits only allow rifle). Now for the sidearm permit to be valid, before you even leave the house with the gun (to say, go to gun range), you visit RCMP (COP) office, and get a forum signed, go home. Get gun, go to range, get range attendant to sign. Do your shooting, drive back to RCMP station, get forum signed again. OTHERWISE you will lose the rights to your side arm if caught. Yeah... and that is after all the testing, costs and background checks. We strict here. This is why my leather shoulder holster is currently empty, tis sad...hanging there...lonely, just wanting to be loved.
