"Alright, then it's settled! I left the cards in the kitchen, so I suppose I leave my cocoon for just a little bit," she looked around grudgingly, slowly dropping the blanket from her around her shoulders, and once the cool air met her sweatered shoulders she made a little whiny noise and ran for the kitchen door where the stoves would warm them.
She asked Jerry politely if she could have a cup of coffee as she settled easily down atop a kitchen stool, shuffling the cards with swift, nimble movements of her hands. The cards were worn, their previous master unbeknownst even to the young woman who had taken them as her own, and used often in their past life. "Alright, so you want me to just do the standard way that everyone else has asked? It's a standard type-- past, present and future. The kin that the card reading gypsies might do at carinvals~"

"I could go... get... them...," Kiah trailed off as Sil made a made dash for the kitchen, laughing at how ridiculous she was acting. She followed at a much slower pace and took a seat next to the other girl, putting in an order for hot chocolate while Jerry was getting Sil's coffee.
Examining the cards, Kiah wondered where exactly the older woman had gotten them, but was quickly distracted by the activity at hand. "Ah, yeah, that's the one! Just out of curiosity... are there other things you can use them for? Or can you just use them in different ways to get the same results?" she questioned, wondering how many ways tarot cards could be used for entertainment.

"Oh, they have a lot of uses... If you mean divination wise, there's several different ways to use the cards. You don't even have to ask for them to tell your future-- you can also ask for advice for certain questions, clarity on your direction in life, relationships. I don't believe they're truly clairvoyant, but sometimes they might help you make a decision you might have talked yourself out of, or answer a question you might have really already known the answer to," she tapped the cards on the table and spread them out in the familiar arch along the flat surface, Kiah on the inside of the occult curve. "You can also play card games with them, which is what I do most of the time. They're a little more interesting than number cards in my personal opinion. Now... close your eyes and choose three cards. Don't change their direction or anything else, just slide them out in front of you." She cupped her chin into the curve of her palm, watching the young woman curiously as she made her selections.

"Advice from cards, eh...? Maybe one day I can graduate from eenie meenie minie mo and use these to help make decisions instead," she laughed, closing her eyes as instructed and hovering her hand over the cards. "I will admit, they do seem like more fun, from what I've seen..." Kiah's hand continued to go back and forth over the cards until she finally pulled one towards herself. She didn't exactly feel any special attachment to the card she chose like some people have claimed, but it did seem... different than the others. It didn't take long before two more were placed in front of her, and she slowly peeked one eye open to look at Sil. "Is that all I have to do?"

((I'm skipping school tomorrow since my family and I are gonna head up to Colorado from Arizona at 5 am in the morning lol. Though it's weird that for my school it's still a school day (I'm in college) and my brothers (Ones in high school and ones in junior high) both have tomorrow off))
