"Probably more than I actually remember..." This was bad, very, very bad. He racked his brain to try and figure out the various things his mother had taught him over the years and at once wished he'd paid closer attention. "Umm...moss is used in pretty much all of them..." Yeah, this wasn't going well. "I can get her stuff and see what's familiar in there?" It was the best he could do under the circumstances. He raised a hand to have her kit brought over and began picking through it, pulling out what he recognized. "Doesn't she have a book of them or something?"
"Malik...does..." Clutching her husband's hand as her body was urging her to expel whatever it was that was harming her. She closed her eyes and gathered her energy together, locating the source of the poison like a stream of black through her bloodstream. Violet swarmed the inky strands but were quickly outgunned by the black. She clenched his hand tighter, sweat breaking out along her brow as she pushed her body's magical limits to try to at least reduce the threat.

Holding Kelligrin in one arm, she snatched Gieda with her free hand, pulling her out of the way and keeping hold of her so that she didn't wander off. Especially right now. "You have a knack for showing up when things are falling down around people's ears." Keely shook her head. "Neverending fun here in the underdark..."
He shook his head...well the boy wasn't going to be helpful in that area was he? And he said he didn't need school...but now was not the time to be cynical about such things now was it? Nope, right now they ahd things to do. Zahara was trying to help but it wasn't helping now was it? No. "Malik isn't of any help right now." Shaking his head. "We'll do this my way and then deal with it later." Pulling her hand from his, he pulled out his dagger. A slice across his palm and then hers as well before letting her grip his hand and turning a look to Zykariel. "You should get started on that book." Thusly scribing a series of runes that in all essence, siphoned what was forgein in her blood out and pushed it into his own so that it didn't transfer back to her.

"No! Get the...book..." Attempting to pull away from her husband and fight him off, she used her energy to heal her hand. He could not let that poison into his body. It would feed off the powerful magic he had coursing through his blood and kill him. It would be a slow, painful, agonizing death. She was not going to allow it. "Library. Third...shelf..." Trying to undo his runes and anything else she could to stop him from his current actions. He didn't know that it was going to suck up his energy and his life with it so it seemed logical to him. But she wasn't going to let it happen.
He hopped up and headed for the library, turning back in time to get the rest of the instructions and then hurried in. It took him longer to find it than he was expecting but he finally did and raced back out. "I don't know where it's at..." Flipping through the scribbles and trying to make sense of them was hard. Whoever had written it hadn't had a very logical process. He saw a few Norrathian symbols and flipped to those sections in the book, scanning ingredients and effects.

Okay why was she fighting with him? Out of everything and anytime to fighting with him about something, this was not the time nor the place nor the subject. "Zahara stop being stubborn." No clue why she was being stubborn was she was about this book thing. A frustrated sigh from him as his son ran off and came back. Eyes glanced down to the book, quirking an eyebrow at it. "Well what are we supposed to do with that?"

She knew he'd wonder and be difficult about the whole thing. "I'm...not." He just couldn't and she didn't have the time or the energy to explain to him what was going on inside her body. It was hard enough fighting the effects of. "Draining...poison..." Another clench of her body and she curled into the fetal position.
He flipped through a few more pages, glancing over the written words for something that might say something about draining. "I don't know. I guess there's something in here that will work as an antidote for the poison? Can you get the blade? Maybe seeing it will help." Not that he knew if it would or not but he was desperate right now. "Here's one. Looks like it has pretty basic stuff in it, too. I could probably make this one."

Broken sentences was not helping this matter at all and only served to frustrate him at the moment. His tolerance level had become very very low in the last few days. "Just start reading pages or we're doing this my way. She may not like my way but that's how it's going to go unless that book is of any help." Moving his attention back to his wife and pulling her out of her curled up position. "Then get reading if you're so confident."

Broog heard all the screaming and shouting even from where he was, and came up the stairs, dragging a bloody mess that apparently was the still uncooperative Gizdean with him, and just dropped him off at Sevilin's feet with his equipment in a pile right by him. other then that, he was silent as a grave.
Outside construction was going smoothly, more seeds to be planted, more things to tend to, working on the doors to this outdoor atruim that malik was having constructed for his wife's anniversary present. they were still waiting on thelight source at present, but were pretty sure it would be arriving soon.

"Hey," said Giedia as she flinched from the pain on her arm, "Whats going on?" the confusion was written plainly on her face. She stared at Keely with renewed awe wonder and thought to herself that she has a lot of hidden strength for a mere human. "I heard a scream and I wanted to see if I could located Master Sevilin," rubbing her arm as she said this, "Who is this you have in your vice like grip?"

"You know, you could be of some help instead of sitting there and ordering things, Dad. And don't jerk her like that!" Frightened teenager facing something he had no idea how to handle meant attitude by the bucketfuls. He scanned over the recipe for the antidote then began muttering things in his head and rooting through his mother's grab bag of potions paraphernalia. It didn't take him long to find what he needed and start tossing things together in a pot that was brought to him. "Are you going to help?"

"More trouble, as usual. It seems like we've hit a streak of bad karama around here. Between me waiting for visitors with something or other for the thing outside and then bad things happening, I think I'm going to start pulling my hair out." Shaking her head, "Better to leave him be for the moment, unless you want his rage on you." Blinking then and letting Gieda go, looking to the toddler she held. "This is Kelligrin, Sevilin and Zahara's youngest son. Say hi Kelli." Maybe it would distract the baby.
"I don't know what we're dealing with here and she's being difficult. You're the one with the book and the one who knows more about antidoes between us. I make posions, not cure them." Granted, now was not the time to fight. "Tell me how to help and I'll help."

He wasn't too happy since his head was doing that funny thing that Malikhai had often mentioned as rocks. Rubbing at his eyes, he glanced up at Gieda and frowned. "Mommy?" A glance to Keely. "Hi."
"Of course she's being difficult. She's my mother and your wife, she's ALWAYS difficult." Rolling his eyes again and then glancing over the book. "You could get me fire. This has to boil and then simmer for a few minutes before it can be used. You're good at magic. Hop to."

"Oh wow, aren't you a cute little one..." Giedia said as she touched her now sore arm, "Hi Kelligrin." To herself she thought, "Wow I didn't know Sevilin had a kid this young well them again this dose make sense."
"Your right you know," as she lowered herself down to the kids level, "I don't want to enrage or incure Master Sevilin's rage right now Keely." Pulling a toy out of her pokect she started to hand it to the Kelligrin.
Pondering to herself as stood in the hall playing with the baby she thought "May be if I send out my power I can sense whats going on but I have to distract Keely for two mintutes, Naw I have to do it later n tonight."

She rubbed lightly at Kelli's back to keep the poor thing calm. "Mommy is busy Kelli." Nope, not a good time around the place at all. "Very smart decision. That's one elf's temper I don't want to be on the receiving end of. Best thing is to just wait things out though...unless you have some skill that can aid."
"Don't take that tone with me. If things weren't happening right now, you'd regret it." There was no point in being nice to him anymore and the boy was only getting back what he was giving anyway. He was tempted to hit the boy at this point but was restraining himself and busied his fingers runing heat to the pot so that it would boil. He was going to have this boy's a** when this was over, he was quite sure.

Pondering what Keely had just asked her, Giedia decided to help out as best she could. "What do you need help with, my skills are limited but I can protected you from almost everything."
She looked at Keely and the small boy, she thought to herself "if things could get any worse we would have to flee this hallway." Sending out a small burst of energy from her mind she decided to make a force field that could protect them from anything that is flying in the air. "Is something bad going on that I should know about because who ever screamed sounded hurt." she asked Keely as the power poured from her body, " I am going to put up an invisible force field to protect us."

He sobered slightly at that particular threat and turned his attention to the pot that was now boiling and sputtering. Ladling some of the mixture out, he studied it pensively. How was he supposed to know when it was done? The book was no help whatsoever, using those obscure potion maker's terms that he'd never bothered to learn. "Medium consistency..."
"Look...like...soup..." Clenching her teeth as another ripple of pain slammed into her body. Her reserves were steadily beginning to give out and she opened her eyes and squeezed her husband's hand to keep him calm. She could hear the violence in his tone and knew it wasn't going to bode well.
"Soup?" A glance down at his mother and he stirred the mixture again, deciding it had a bit of a soupy quality to it. "So it's done then?" Looking for confirmation from his father since he didn't have a clue.
He blinked at the elf who was standing before him and took the toy but turned his face against Keely's shoulder. He didn't want his mother to be busy. "She hurts." He had rocks in his head and that was the only explanation. Rubbing at his head and whimpering. "Daddy?"
